What is your Minecraft username?:
I have several accounts, they are listed below:
'Scorpios2024' (Main account).
'i74790k4ghz' (Second account, the account was previously called 'JustInochi'. This is also the account with the character I am applying on).
'JustInochiii' (Third account).
What is your discord username?:
I do have Discord; my username is 'scrp24_'.
How old are you?:
I am 14, soon to be 15; and often mistaken as older.
What is your time zone?:
My timezone is AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time, UTC+10).
Describe your activity on the server:
I have been playing since late 2023, and my activity on server is good; my total playtime sits at around 8 weeks on my main account. I usually spend anywhere from 3 to 12 hours online each day, depending on my schedule for the day; however, I still have OOCly responsibilities to take care of. Said OOCly responsibilities have a negative impact on my ability to log on. The times I am available are listed below (All times are in AEST):
Monday: | Tuesday: | Wednesday: | Thursday: | Friday: | Saturday: | Sunday: |
3:30pm to 9:30pm. | 3:30pm to 9:30pm. | 3:30pm to 9:30pm. | 3:30pm to 9:30pm. | 3:30pm to 9:30pm. | 10am to 10pm. | 10am to 10pm. |
Please note that all of my hours may be impacted negatively if I am to get a part-time job OOCly in the near future. Additionally, if anything is to come up that makes me unable to log into SRP, I will alert the faction lead.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
Yes, I acknowledge this fact; I plan to stay active, and reach at least 4 openings each OOC week.
Links to any previous applications and appeals on the server:
I have made several applications in the past; all of which have been accepted. They are listed below:
Have you ever been warned or banned?:
I have never been banned, and I plan to keep it that way. As for warnings, I have only ever had around 2 or 3; however, they all were a few months ago; and I have memorised most, if not all of the rules since then.
What are your current roles on the server?:
I have a few roles, they are listed below:
[Dog] tag x1.
[College][B] tag x3; 1 of these will be replaced if I am to be accepted.
[Grade-11] tag x1. This can be replaced instead of one of my college tags if I am unable to have the shopkeeper role on an alternate character; I can move the character I am applying with to that slot instead.
[Grade-7] tag x1.
[-- SHOP INFORMATION --]
What shop are you applying for?:
I would have applied for two shops, but it seemed a bit unfair to others; so I am applying for only Ushi No Koya, the shop located near the beach. If I am to get the shop, I will rename it to 'Karakura no Heiwa' (Translation: 'Peace of Karakura'.); but only if the faction lead allows it. Because of this, I decided not to make a logo yet; just in case the shop rename is not allowed for whatever reason.
Why do you want to become a Shopkeeper?:
The idea of running a shop looks appealing to me for several reasons, and it always has; I've applied to work at shops in the past, Ushi no Koya being my first attempt. The first reason I have is to create and expand not only my own experiences on SRP, but also the experiences of others. I have never been a part of a faction, sports team, gang, or anything similar on SRP, and I feel as if I have not done anything of much significance on the server that has impacted the community; and having a shop can fix that by impacting and creating new roleplay situations for others. Secondly, I want to develop and roleplay as my character, Rick Smith, further. I made him as a one-time thing for SRP, as he was my main character I originally made for MazeRP, which is now dying out; but I decided to make SRP Rick into his own thing; a man from Alice Springs with a rough upbringing of selling alcohol, but a bright future as a shopkeeper. I want him to be known for more than being that one Bagger from MazeRP who enjoyed locking everyone up. My third reason is wanting to learn things and improve my own abilities. Running a shop on SRP could help me improve my problem solving skills, through dealing with customers and employees; creativity, through advertising the shop and organising events; maths skills, through budgeting, dealing with stock and employee salaries; and even my ability to interact with others, through roleplaying with all sorts of diverse characters. Additionally, the pay that comes with running the shop is quite enticing; not because of personal reasons, but because it will allow me to invest back into the shop to improve it. Finally, I believe I will be active enough to take on the role; my active hours may be different to many other shopkeepers, but that means I can open at different times compared to everyone else, meaning less competition between shops.
What do you plan to do with your shop, and what makes it unique?:
I plan to turn the shop into a quiet establishment for eating, drinking, games, and the occasional gamble, while keeping the theme similar to the original Ushi no Koya, except with a different colour palette for the building; a downstairs gambling and games area; and more drinks on the menu. Downstairs, I will put several things, such as a wheel for raffles, a dartboard, an air hockey table, some PC setups, board game setups, and more. Upstairs will be reserved for seating, and the ground floor will be where the bar goes. Unlike other places, the rules are considered strict. Being excessively loud and creating disturbances is heavily frowned upon, and enough to get you kicked out by security; and even the owner himself. After all, the store must live up to the meaning of its name. Even workers aren't safe from being booted by Rick; as breaking the employee rules will get you fired. As for uniqueness, this shop already has something different; a drive-through way to get your items. The way it will work is simple; a bartender will be positioned at the drive-through window, and customers will drive by; after they place their order and pay, they receive their items and are free to drive away. However, you are not allowed to get alcohol this way, as drinking and driving could happen.
What will you sell in your shop?:
I plan to sell all sorts of drinks, alcoholic drinks, and Japanese food; all of which will come with their own prices and buying limits; however, said prices and buying limits have not been decided yet; but I plan to calculate them based on restock costs. A book containing the menu is also in the works; it will be completed once I work out prices. The items are listed below:

If I am unable to sell any of these items for any reason, please let me know. In the future, I may decrease the size of the alcohol and drink menus. I am also open to suggestions for other items to sell; and I may consider buying custom items from others to sell in the future. I also plan to create custom items for the shop if given the chance and funds. I have 3 ideas so far; the first idea I have is a special sake bottle exclusive to the shop, with an appearance that has a similar look to the shop itself; black and white, with golden accents. It would have 10% alcohol content, and it would contain 1000mL total. The second idea I have is a container of spicy takeout noodles, with a black, white, and golden appearance. It would restore 5 hunger points upon consumption. The third idea I have is a custom Zippo lighter, painted in the black, white, and gold colours of the establishment. It would behave like a regular Zippo lighter, being non-consumable and making a sound upon use.
What are the customer rules?:
The customers are required to follow a certain etiquette:
1. Conduct yourself, and keep it quiet. Creating a scene is heavily frowned upon, and will result in a removal from the premises, and a 110 call in some situations.
2. Be polite. Being rude or behaving inconsiderately will result in a removal from the premises.
3. Illegal or restricted goods are prohibited; this includes any weapons, masks, spray cans, and similar items. Pulling anything of this nature out will result in a removal from the premises and a 110 call.
4. Do not drink too much. Drinking can affect your ability to think and conduct yourself appropriately. Failing to do so will result in a refusal of service, and removal from the premises in some situations.
5. Do not argue with employees. Their decisions are final, and going against them will result in a removal from the premises. The only exception is if you believe you are being mistreated; if that is to happen, locate a manager or the shopkeeper himself and notify them.
6. Do not loophole our rules. Use common sense.
How many employees do you plan to have?:
I plan to have several employees and roles, each with their own uniforms. The chefs and bartenders wear one of the shop's white aprons above their usual outfit; security members are required to wear the employee uniform, which consists of a white coat, dark undershirt, and dark pants; and the higher-ups; which includes the shopkeeper and managers; are required to wear a different uniform, which looks the same as what security members wear, except with a gold coat on instead of a white one. Compared to other shops, the employee dress code may come across as strict, but it has a purpose; to make an employee's role known, making identifying people a lot easier for customers, other employees, and the shopkeeper himself.
The roles have also been organised into a hierarchy in terms of status and pay, with the rich shopkeeper at the top and the slightly underpaid mascot at the bottom; the exact salaries will be worked out once I figure out how much revenue the shop generates. Additionally, some of said roles are filled by a few people already; in order for me to get the shop up and running as soon as possible. They are listed below:
Shopkeeper:
Without a shopkeeper, the shop would be impossible to run; they are the person who keeps everything and everyone in order. As the shopkeeper, I will take care of everything; restocking the shop, adding new items to existing stock, reorganising the shops's furniture and appearance, dealing with employees and their salaries, solving customer disputes, being the public face of the restaurant as a whole; and even filling in for other people's jobs if the establishment is short-staffed.
Manager:
The managers are those who I will allow to assist the shopkeeper in running the shop closely. They are trusted with the ability to open the shop; the ability to sit with people through job interviews; the ability to oversee any employees working; and the ability to help me with taking inventory. If they are caught abusing their power, they will be removed. I plan to have up to 2 of them; so far, I have 0.
Security:
The security members are those who I will allow to patrol the shop and escort people off the property if they are causing a disturbance; and the ability to call 110 if situations are to escalate further. If they are caught severely hurting the customers, Rick will fire them on the spot without warning. 1 of them will be required to open up the bottom floor of the establishment, but 2 of them will be required to open up the inside of the shop. Total, I plan to have up to 6 of them; so far, I have 1; Kenshi Hasashi (IGN: MaiiCoffee.).
Bartender:
Every bar needs a good bartender; they carefully craft ****tails, put on a show of shaking, and serve all sorts of drinks. 1 will be positioned at the drive-through for quick orders, and another inside for those who plan to stay a while and sit inside. They are expected to refuse serving those who are heavily intoxicated. 1 of them will be required to open up the bar inside the shop, and 2 of them will be required to open up both the drive-through bar and the bar I plan to have inside. Total, I plan to have up to 4 of them; so far, I have 1; Masaru Murasaki (IGN: GoldenGrave2025.).
Chef:
The chefs are those who will take orders, prepare the food, collect drinks from the bartender, and serve them to those eating in at tables. If they are caught cutting corners while cooking, Rick will get them to hand in their uniform and exit. 0 of them will be required to open up the downstairs of the shop, but 4 of them will be required to open up the entirety of the shop. Total, I plan to have up to 8 of them; so far, I have 0.
Mascot:
The mascot is the public face of the store, other than the shopkeeper himself; they are the one who will greet customers as they enter the store, and be around for nearly every opening and event surrounding the store to help draw in the attention of the public. They are also expected to shame those who break the rules and get thrown out by security or the shopkeeper himself. Total, I will only have 1 of them; so far, I have 1; 'Sparky' (IGN: Scorpios2024. It may be my main account, and the character may be a dog; but that does not mean the job will go unpaid; the pay will be sent to the owner of the dog instead, who happens to be Kenshi Hasashi. If working at my own store is not allowed, I would be happy to hire someone else for this role instead.).
As a bonus, employees are also eligible for a 10% discount on one drink and meal of their choice per opening; but only if they choose not to work instead.
What is the application process to become an employee?:
To become an employee, there are two steps; first, people will be required to fill out a Google Form found on the Discord server for the shop that is currently in the works; the questions will include, but not limited to; the player's RPName, ICly phone number, what role they are applying for, whether or not they have a good understanding of the server rules, how active they are, and why they believe they should work at Karakura no Heiwa. If they pass, they will be texted ICly. The second step is the ICly interview, where people will need to answer a series of questions, and show off their skills depending on the position they are going for. After finishing the ICly interview, the shopkeeper will tell them if they are hired or not.
What are the employee rules?:
Karakura no Heiwa's workers need to follow rules as well:
1. Follow all the same rules as our customers.
2. Respect your colleagues.
3. Arrive to work early, and don't show up intoxicated or with illegal or restricted goods.
4. Don't abuse your roles or power.
5. Always check ID when selling alcohol.
6. Document every sale.
7. Don't steal stock or pocket any of the money you earn.
8. Don't cut corners or use ingredients that are undercooked or not fresh.
9. Do not loophole our rules. Use common sense.
What will your shop advertisements look like?:
I plan to advertise my shop with many different messages, depending on the type of opening and a few other factors. Some examples are below:
[ADVERT] KARAKURA NO HEIWA is now HIRING! Are your pockets running dry? If yes, come down and apply. But if they aren't, then also come down and apply. Good luck. [X: ??? | Z: ???]
[ADVERT] KARAKURA NO HEIWA is now OPEN! No friends? No problem. Since when could a lack of companionship stop you from cracking open a chilled can of beer, or munching on some seafood? [X: ??? | Z: ???]
[ADVERT] KARAKURA NO HEIWA is now FULLY OPEN! Did you know that 99% of gamblers quit before their first big win? If you want a shot at being that 1%, come spin to win. And try not to be loud when you do. [X: ??? | Z: ???]
[ADVERT] KARAKURA NO HEIWA is now FULLY OPEN! Food. Drinks. Gambling. Board games. Card games. More food. More drinks. The list goes on. Come join us on this fine evening, and end your night on a peaceful note. [X: ??? | Z: ???]
[ADVERT] KARAKURA NO HEIWA is now OPEN! There's a new drink on the menu, come try it. One of our amazing bartenders, Masaru, say it goes well with all the amazing Japanese cuisine we offer. [X: ??? | Z: ???]
[ADVERT] KARAKURA NO HEIWA is STILL OPEN! We're closing soon, so you might want to come over, enjoy the peace, and drink something tasty while you still can. [X: ??? | Z: ???]
The '???'s will be replaced with the shop coordinates in every in-game advert.
Do you plan to run any events?:
I do plan to run events surrounding the shop in the future; I have a few ideas in mind, and I am always open to any suggestions people may have. They are listed below:
Sale:
The sale event will consist of a sale or promotion on one or more items; for example, two tropical drinks for the price of one, or 10% off on all food. This would give customers more incentive to buy certain items, and it would provide an opportunity to get rid of items that are not selling well enough.
Raffle:
The raffle event will be an opportunity for customers to win a prize by paying money to spin a wheel; this prize could be anywhere from a free drink to a large sum of yen.
Talent Show:
The talent show event will allow anyone to step onto a stage, free of charge, and give their best performances to win a prize; said performances could be anything from singing, telling jokes, playing an instrument, or anything else that requires talent to pull off. The shopkeepers and managers will decide who wins or not.
Cookoff:
The cookoff event will consist of employees DetailRPing cooking food against each other, with the shopkeeper harshly judging everyone's food in front of an audience. The best DetailRPer wins; and is crowned the 'Chef of the Month', which comes with a bonus added to their paycheck.

[-- RP SITUATIONS --]
What would an average day in the shop look like?:
The shop would be chaotic sometimes, with Rick watching over and occasionally snapping at the employees who fail to follow the rules and threaten to tarnish the restaurant's reputation; but most of the time, it would be relatively quiet (Other than the serene instrumental music playing in the background.), with the staff keeping quiet, staying polite, and following the rules as best as they can; some examples are listed below:
*** [Dog] 'Sparky''s ears perked up as he heard another one of Shizukesa's many customers shuffle from the paved pathway and into the shop. It was his cue to perform his signature action; raising his paw and offering the customer a small handshake... wait, no, pawshake, as well as a quiet, welcoming bark.
*** [?] The Guest accepted Sparky's kind gesture with a small smile and nod.
*** [Dog] 'Sparky' wagged his tail a bit, looking over at the tables inside; in an attempt to lead the guest onwards.
*** [?] The Guest walked into the store to take a seat, delighted by the dog's kind gesture.
**** [?] The Guest lost it, yelling incoherently at The Chef, cutting through the silence in the process.
*** [Shopkeeper] Rick Smith steps out of his office, maintaining a calm demeanor as he approaches the customer. "What's the issue here, brother?"
[?] The Guest yells "IT'S YOUR CHEF. HE'S TAKING AGES TO PREPARE MY MEAL, AND HE'S IGNORING MY REQUESTS."
*** [?] The Chef nodded apologetically towards Rick Smith and The Guest. "My apologies- I was serving other tables, we're short-staffed today-"
*** [Shopkeeper] Rick Smith raises his hand in the air, snapping his fingers while using his free arm to pat The Chef on the back. "All good, brother. Please, go serve someone else." He'd glance at The Guest. "He won't be eating here until next opening. Security, please escort this man off the premises."
*** [?] Security grabs The Guest by the arm, dragging him out of the store as ordered.
[?] The Guest yells "I'M NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN."
[Shopkeeper] Rick Smith says "Fine by me." He'd dust off his hands quickly, before turning back and slipping into his office.
*** [?] The Chef turns off the stove, looking down at the slightly undercooked meat he prepared. "Good enough."
*** [Shopkeeper] Rick Smith glances over to The Chef's cooking. "What the hell do you think this is, your mother's kitchen? The food has to be better than this, brother."
[?] The Chef says "I understand, sir- my apologies-"
*** [Shopkeeper] Rick Smith steps out of the kitchen, walking off... before silently coming back over discreetly watch The Chef from the entrance.
*** [?] The Chef decided to plate the undercooked meal anyway, ready to serve it, even after hearing Rick's words.
*** [Shopkeeper] Rick Smith stepped back in. "Your ability to follow the shop rules are more half-baked than that fucking chicken, brother. Hand in your uniform, you're fired."
*** [?] The Chef removes his apron, folding it up and handing it to Rick. "I understand-" He'd leave silently without further notice.
[Shopkeeper] Rick Smith says "Don't come back later for your paycheck or to use your discount, brother." He'd put the apron on carefully, taking over The Chef's original role. He'd then carefully pick up the plate of undercooked food, before scraping all of it into the nearest bin while shaking his head slowly. "Fucking disgusting."
*** [?] The Bartender mixes up a furious ****tail of vodka and tequila, before sliding it across the table to a customer while looking at The Guest. "What can I get ya?"
*** [?] The Guest looks over to the bartender as he makes his order. "Can I get a sparkling sake, please?"
[?] The Bartender says "Coming right up." He'd step back and turn 180 degrees on his heel, looking through the remaining stock of drinks. "We're out of 'em, sorry! Ya interested in a regular sake instead?"
*** [?] The Guest replies with a polite tone. "No need to apologise. And, yes, that would be nice." He'd slide the needed amount of cash over the counter.
[?] The Bartender says "'Aight, that'll be- wait, ya already paid? Thanks!" He'd graciously accept the money, counting to ensure it's the correct amount. After, he'd take and serve the drink to the customer. "Enjoy!"
[?] The Guest says "Cheers." He'd sip his drink slowly, enjoying every last drop.

His body has no scars or piercings, and he has slightly tanned skin. To some, he may come across as your typical street thug or gangster, but he still possesses a kind side that he showcases regularly.
Character's marital status:
Rick is single.
Character's age (if accepted):
Rick is 25 years old.
Character’s academic background and work experience:
Rick worked as a bartender for several years after turning 18; he gained a lot of valuable skills from it, such as serving customers, mixing ****tails; and even stopping the occasional attempted robberies and bar fights. As for degrees, he has several; a Masters in Business Administration, a Bachelors of Business - Finance, and a Bachelors of Business - Marketing; all of which were earnt at the University of Sydney, Australia.
Character's spoken languages:
Rick speaks English as his native language, and Japanese, JSL, and Korean as his other languages.
Character's reason for opening a shop:
In his teenage years, Rick used to risk everything selling alcohol illegally on the dangerous streets of Alice Springs. It may have been life-threatening sometimes, but it paid well; so well that all he could associate with alcohol was being rich and successful. This sparked his future ambitions of opening a bar that sold every drink imaginable, along with the influence of Japanese cuisine he discovered in Karakura at age 24.
Character's backstory:
Rick hails from Alice Springs, Australia. His childhood was concerning; other than having a good family, all the things that influenced him were bad; really bad. Violence, vandalism, the dealing and use of illegal goods, drinking, constant arrests; however, some say these sights and experiences played a crucial role in bringing him to where he is today. His teenage years consisted of hanging out with the wrong crowd; it led to him being roped into committing the many atrocities he was desensitised to. Blinded by the idea of swimming in a sea of cash, selling became a side hustle; and brawling became second nature each time someone tried to threaten it.
This carried on until his downwards spiral of selling, beating, and cop dodging reversed once he hit 18 and graduated high school; he rose up slowly, eventually reaching higher than he ever has. He departed from his unsafe home, moving to the safety of Sydney to study at a university and work as at a fast food chain for several years; all in an attempt to gain the needed experience to fulfil his dream of running a successful shop. It was more ambitious and impossible than anything he had ever tried or done in the past, but he continued to persevere; and those many years of hard work paid off. From there, he decided to travel to a few countries in East Asia using his savings, eventually falling in love with the cuisine, with his last stop in Japan.
From 24, he found himself studying abroad in Karakura; trying to learn several languages while working another part-time job. Something interested him about the town; and then, it hit him.
It was where he wanted to open his store; and that brings us to today, where he has finally saved up enough to open it up to the public.

Additional notes about your application:
I have 2 things to add; Firstly, I would be happy to answer any questions about my application in DMs if you have any. Secondly, if this application is to be denied, I would love some feedback on what to do differently and improve on next time.
Do you have any questions?:
I have 1 question; are shopkeepers given a rundown on how to run, restock, and hire employees for a shop upon being accepted into the faction?
