Describe your activity on the server:
My activity is great! I have been on the server for many years now, sometimes taking breaks here and there, but recently I can confidently say this is the most involved and consistent I've ever been. I am not just logging in, I am actively engaging in roleplay, events, and faction work almost every day. Obviously, I have real life responsibilities like anyone else, but I always manage to stay consistent. There is rarely a week where I am not clocking multiple hours a day, especially during peak times! My other two accounts have these playtimes:
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
Yes, of course.
School Employee Role you are applying for?:
I am applying for the Nurse Role
In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
The School Nurse’s primary duty is to respond to any and all medical situations that occur on campus during school hours. An injury, sudden illness, or a student feeling unwell is given straight to the nurse, becoming the first point of contact for care. SLT or other school employees will often call on the nurse after these occur, and theyre expected to respond appropriately to ensure the student’s safety. Aswell as keep the RP situation immersive for everyone!
Outside of emergencies, the nurse also tends to smaller medical needs like when a student is feeling sick, needs rest, or is doing a small sickRP scenario. It’s not just about patching people up, though. The nurse also plays an important role as part of the overall school staff, helping maintain safety and order across campus. This includes monitoring hallways, keeping an eye out for fights or misconduct, and engaging with students to promote a fun and “educational” environment.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
My experience with roleplay’s definitely grown a ton, especially this past year. I’ve been on the server for many years now. Back before i took a break, I was pretty much glued to the sports faction and didnt branch out much. That was the main focus for a few years, until I took that break. When I came back, I wanted more. Im still in sports yes, but I ended up joining KPD too and that completely flipped how i really saw the server. It pushed me into more serious scenes, taught me how to pace my actions better, handle pressure without freezing up, and actually think about structure and detail while still staying in character. Honestly, its been one of the best shifts Ive made, and probably the closest prep Ive had for what the school faction expects.
Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
I want to join the School Employee faction because it feels like the perfect next step for me. I’ve explored a lot of different roleplay avenues on SRP, but I haven’t really tapped into the school-side dynamic yet, and let’s be honest, that’s where half the chaos and fun actually happens. I love being in the middle of things, and this faction gives me a chance to do that and help shape the environment for others in a meaningful way.
Whether it’s patching up some poor kid who got launched into a locker or just vibing in the nurse’s office while someone dramatically fake cries over a paper cut, I’m here for it. It’s not just about the role, it’s about the interactions that come with it. You get to be part of all these weird, random, unpredictable moments across the server, and that’s always been the best part of roleplay for me. Plus just being INVOLVED.
I’ve always enjoyed being the kind of character who pushes a scene forward or adds something memorable to the mix, and this role gives me the perfect space to do that. So yeah, joining this faction feels right!.

Situations
During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
Takeo Otori didnt look up right away. Just finished sealing the set of ice packs he was prepping, pressing out the air, and folding it once before setting it down on the counter. Then came the blink. Slow and oh so intentional. &f"That all?" &uHis voice wasn’t raised, it didn’t need to be. Flat, professional, but with that subtle edge that made you wonder if you were about to be metaphorically sedated. &f"Because if you’re looking for someone to snap back or get rattled, you’ve picked the wrong office." &uHe finally turned, eyes steady, expression unreadable. &f"You can sit. You can yell. You can keep trying to prove whatever you think this is. But unless you’re bleeding or unconscious, this isn’t your stage." &uHe reached for the clipboard, already moving on. &f"Now either take a breath and tell me what’s actually going on, or find the hallway. I dont have the time, I will not give you another warning."
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
Takeo Otori heard the thud before he saw it, flesh on tile, the kind of hit that always sounded worse than it looked. Still, his pace didn’t shift. Just a quiet pivot out the door, clipboard still in hand like this was just the next item on his to do list. With one quick, bark of command. &f"Break it up!" &uAnd when they didn’t immediately stop? He stepped in, one arm calmly extended to create distance, the other hand catching a shoulder with a firm grip that said he’d been in enough scuffles to know where to hold and when to push. &f"I said break it up. If either of you wants a chance to explain yourselves without a detention stapled to it, now's the time to quit while you're ahead. Now both of you follow me to the Nurses Office."
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
Takeo Otori didnt interrupt at first. Just watched, arms crossed, spine straight, the kind of stillness that meant calculating. Once it crossed the line into actually dangerous, thats when he moved. He stepped in like someone checking vitals, efficient, clinical, and entirely unimpressed. &f"Thats not going to fly." &uVoice low, steady. Didnt need volume to cut through noise. &f"If you're wanting to set that example... We can take a nice walk up to SLT." &uLater on Takeo took this up with Higherups! Letting them deal with it accordingly
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
Takeo Otori already had his cup poured before most people walked in. Didnt say much, didnt linger either. Just claimed a corner seat near the wall, same one every time, where the noise could pass without sticking. The tea was always hot. The routine.
Takeo Otori isn't particularly searching for other employee companionship! But he will still gladly make conversation. He's a people watcher, enjoying observing while letting himself relax.
Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:
Scenario 1 - A student was hit in the arm during a fight and brought to the Nurses office.
/it Once inside and on the bed Takeo got to work. Not asking right away. Just slid a drawer open, plucking a sterile cloth, and turned on the tap, letting the silence hang long enough to see if the student filled it themselves. He returned with the cloth folded neatly and crouched beside the cot, eyes flicking to the bruising just beneath the sleeve. His fingers moved steady, gentle, tracing the swelling without pushing on it. &f"Doesn’t look broken." He stood up slowly, sliding the cloth into the bin, already prepping an ice pack. &f"Sit tight for however long you need. And keep pressure on the pack" &uLaying the ice pack against the students arm.
Scenario 2 - A student fainted during P.E due to heat exhaustion
/me dropped into a crouch the second his knee hit the track. Two fingers to the side of the neck, to check for their pulse. No hesitation. He peeled off the school blazer, rolled it behind the students neck to elevate the head, and reached for the water bottle clipped to his hip. Cap off, a measured splash across the forehead first, then to the wrists. &f"Muscles soft, no convulsions. Still breathing." &uHe angled the chin gently up to open the airway, already scanning the students color. One hand unfastened the tie the other flagged the teacher/professor without looking. &f"Help me carry him to the Nurses office, keep him as stable as we can." &uBack to the student. He kept the pressure light, thumb brushing under the jaw, cooling cloth now pressed to the nape of the neck before he lifted them up with the assistance!
Scenario 3 - Breaking up a hallway fight
/me rose his voice. Stopping his walk right then and there. The moment one fist hit another shoulder, he called it, low, sharp, but calm enough to cut through the frenzy. &f"Thats enough!"
If they continue
/me rose his voice once again. &f"I said enough." &uThis time slower. More deliberate. His body shifted forward only when it was clear they didnt hear him the first time. “Both of you come with me, NOW!”

Backstory
Takeo Otori grew up burdened by a family name which brought more historical weight than personal comfort. The Otori family history reached back to the early days of Karakura's post-war elite where they maintained their position as influential political figures with traditional values. Their name lined the ledgers of government history, their opinions carried into boardrooms before they were even spoken aloud. But by the time Takeo was old enough to understand what that meant, the prestige had already curdled into something more complicated. The family name opened doors, sure, but most of them came with expectations he never asked for, and a kind of pressure that didn’t always come with kindness.
Takeo never showed interest in becoming the center of attention or building relationships with those who wielded power like other relatives did. He kept his head down. Always had. While some relatives chased titles, stirred headlines, or whispered politics behind expensive glass, Takeo chose a quieter path. He was drawn to systems. His mind found reward in honest systems which he considered more fulfilling than other options. His family name had instilled manipulation in him yet he sought experiences completely different from those lessons. Steadiness represented the most essential quality to him above everything else. He attended Karakura College to study nursing while pursuing general care as his major and child psychology as his minor. It was not a decision to defy authority. Just the first one that felt like it belonged to him.
During clinical rotations, he found his rhythm not in triage or trauma, but in the overlooked corners. He paid attention to the people who just needed to breathe. He noticed students visible medical symptoms displayed deeper psychological states which included fatigue alongside feelings of isolation along with being overwhelmed. Things he recognized. Maybe not aloud, but personally. His work performance reached its peak in such situations. Quiet, one on one, consistent.
He spent some time working at a hospital facility. Did everything right. The combination of fast-paced work and detachment along with burnout caused him constant wear. He didn’t want to treat people and forget them. He wanted to build something that lasted. Something preventative. Eventually, through a former mentor, he was offered a chance to shadow in Karakura High’s nursing wing. What started as a quiet observational role turned into something more meaningful. Students presented with injuries that extended beyond typical stomachaches and sprains. Stress. Burnout. Loneliness. The weight of expectation. And it clicked. The work he does exists at the essential front line.
He stayed longer. Asked questions. Listened. After obtaining his youth care certification he started working in areas where he could make a difference. Not loud. Not flashy. But effective. The school nursing career represented the inevitable outcome of Takeo Otori's gradual path toward purpose.
He doesn't advertise it. Never will. Takeo Otori arrives at work because he supports his professional duties rather than seeking prestige from his family name. His dedication to his work remains focused on helping students, the legacy this man will leave behind WILL be one worthy of the Otori name, but still his own. Quiet, Consistent, and Unshaken. He believes that's precisely what the job needs.
Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
"Students need more than someone tossing ice packs and telling them to walk it off. I want to give them structure. But what they actually keep is the stuff they learn when no ones lecturing them!" - "Im not trying to dig into their trauma or talk feelings unless its necessary. But if I can make sure one kid eats a real lunch before they pass out in PE, or teach another how to treat an injury before it gets worse, then Ive done something. Maybe even something that lasts."
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
I think I should be accepted because I genuinely care about the stories that come out of roles like this. I’m not just trying to slap on a uniform and chill in the nurse’s office. I want to build scenes, push other characters to grow, and give them a place to bounce off of. Whether it’s medical emergencies, slice of life downtime, or chaotic hallway interactions, I know how to match the tone and elevate it. I’ve proven that through my time in other factions, especially the KPD, where staying in character under pressure is everything.
Plus, Its not solely about other peoples experience. I want to make my character someone people remember. Someone you go to for help, sure, but also someone you side-eye because you’re not sure if he just judged your life choices. There’s so much potential for fun, serious, awkward, and meaningful scenes all in one role, and I’ve built a character (Takeo Otori) who can hold all of that without it ever feeling out of place.
