After hitting record, she would step back to her living room's couch, sitting down properly.
“Hello! My name’s Luna, and I was interviewed here before!”
Squinting, she tilted her head in reply,
“It’s been about two years? A long time, that’s for sure.”
A smile appeared on her face as she stepped back to clear her throat and nodded a few
times.
“Let’s begin.”

“I have come prepared this time! It’s still very much Zenith, Luna Zenith.”
The woman chuckled softly, with a glance to the side as if she were making eye contact with someone.
After a while, she turned her attention back to her camera, smiling at herself.
“My name was originally going to be Luna Zenith-Ortíz but my mom decided that her last name was too boring! Can you believe that?”
She would make a popping sound with her mouth.
“I love my name though, just not the man who gave it to me.”
She shrugged her shoulders before the screen faded to the next scene.

She leaned back against her couch and propped her left arm on it.
“Turns out there's a way to get a nickname out of Luna. Lots of them.”
She stopped propping her arm on the couch as she leaned forward. She slowly began counting the number of names with her fingers.
“There is Lu, Lulu, Luni. . .LUNAPOO, ahha.”
She tilted her head and looked intently into the distance.
“Someone even called me Moon once?. . .my favorite one.”
She giggled.
The shot cuts to a scene in which Luna is again leaning against her couch.

“I know that isn’t a long list of nicknames, but for LUNA? Yeah. It’s a lot for me.”
She turned to the side and bent over to "hear better".
“What? Ohh. Preferred name?. . .Hah! My bad, I’ll go with Lu! Or Luna, I honestly don’t care.”
She looked at the camera from the side and let an embarrassed expression appear on her face.

Her eyes narrowed behind her camera.
“Honestly, I don’t really care what pronouns people use for me, as long as they see me as a person

That makes us twenty years old. I took a gap year when college first began, so I am now in my first year at Karakura’s community college. Lovely, no?”
She chuckled slightly and bit her lower lip while looking down.

She laughed when she received the question.

She bent over and swung her arms up a little with a shrug of her shoulders.
“What? No. I’m not saying that again!”
She laughed nervously and covered her mouth with her right hand.
“Because that was so bad. . .fine.”
She turned around and looked at the camera.
“Although, I don’t really mind my height. . .”
She turned to the side and tried to suppress her laughter out of embarrassment. She shook her head and let out a natural-looking grin before continuing.
“. . .I still get bi-”

She laughed.
“Did you really cut me off? You mother-”

She looked to the side and smiled without intention.
“I don’t know what else to say about this. Uh, next?”
She uttered a low laugh.

She shrugged and looked behind her camera.
“I like my eyes, I don’t know why old me insulted them.”
She laughed.

She laughed.
“It’s surprising how I let a guy interfere with the way I styled my hair…”
She rolled her eyes as the guy popped into her head.
“The black and red were. . .not that bad- but, if I had the chance to go back in time with the knowledge I have now, I would have never dyed it in the first place.”
“Brown suits me perfectly, it just matches with everything.”

She smiled.

She shrugged and laughed lightly.

She smiled.

She looked down at her left hand and played with the rather old silver ring on her middle finger. Her lips formed a gentle smile.

She walked out of the frame and left the room while the recording picked up a muffled conversation.

Zenith would set the camera while she had already begun recording. She would sprint backwards to be more in the picture.
Luna would clasp her hands together.
“Alright. So, after you had the audacity to ask me about my personality. . .why don’t we ask my friends instead! Yes. I have friends, leave me alone.”

Luna clapped her hands excitedly when she saw her bestest best friend come in.
“YUZU!!!!”
She grinned and turned to the camera,
“Everyone, this is THE Yuzu!!!”
She turned to Yuzu and hugged them excitedly.
“Alright bae, I need you to tell this rando how you would describe me- don’t ask.”
She leaned forward and propped her chin on her palm while giving Yuzu her full attention.
Yuzu K. Monet Fukushima says, “MY BITCH! I Looooooove Luna.. We have a lot of chemistry together. They are absolutely stunning, and very charming. She's lovely to be around. I don't think there is one time that I have been bored around Zenith, as they've always kept me entertained or busy. She is strong, and I am not just talking physically. Physically, yes they're strong. But boy.. they've gone through a lot. They are incredibly strong, and brave in my opinion. My best bitch right here.”
Luna reached behind her and pulled out a box of tissues. She took one and blew her nose almost immediately.
She nodded,
“Not to get sentimental or anything! But, thank you, I love you.”
She hugged Yuzu,
“Alright, I’m gonna go interview your man now.”
She would let go so that Yuzu could go.
“MICAH!”

She smiled before turning and looking at him.
“I know you’re very busy, so I’ll just ask you quickly! Could you tell this sweet, hot person what my personality is like?”
She leaned back, giving Micah the full spotlight.
Micah Monet Fukushima says, “Really fun, sassy, and cool person.”
The room would fall silent.
Luna slowly turned to the camera and stared at it awkwardly. “That’s it?. . .”
“. . .”
As she clasped her hands sarcastically, the young woman laughed.
“LOVELY! Thank you for your time. . .NEXT!”

Luna would sit next to an innocent looking woman.
“This is Eun-Jae! We met when we were 18, we haven’t had much time to hang out since I kind of…disappeared the whole time we were 19. She’s great!”
She smiled as she turned to Eun.
“So, I know we kinda know each other- but, could you describe me to this complete stranger in my house?”
Eun-Jae Oshiro says, “Uhhh.. I don't- know Luna all that well. They seem nice..! Don't get me wrong. They seem lovely to hang out with. Although I haven't had too many interactions with her. She's beautiful, and she seems like a very independent woman.”
Luna nodded.
“Thank you! I’m looking forward to our friendship.”

“Okay, this is Eli, my first ever, real. . . friend.”
She smiled as she proudly moved almost out of the picture to give Eli the full spotlight.
“So! Eli, would you be so kind as to describe my personality?”
Eli Fukushima says, “How would I describe Luna? Well.. Luna is a very outgoing individual. They like to put themselves out there and have fun with life. She's very nice, no matter what I have put her through, she's been there for me. She's a very caring person. Mainly to those who are close to her. Her humor is amazing, although haters may say otherwise.. Luna's very fun, she's entertaining to be around.”
Luna heaved a loud sigh. She was spellbound by Eli's words.
“Wow. . .thank you, Eli.”
She pretended to wipe the tears from her face. She turned to the camera as she began to address Eli from the side,
“Beautiful words I tell ya.”
Luna turned back to Eli and smiled lovingly at her.
“Thank you for your time, you may leave!”
She stood up and bowed, as she loves to be respectful to her adult friends.
When Eli went out, Luna widened her eyes,
“Still can’t believe that pretty lady is Micah’s mom. . .”
Luna would scream at the top of their lungs.

A dial is heard while the recording fades to black. Suddenly you see Luna sitting alone on the couch. She was holding her phone and calling someone.
“Ring. . .Riingg. . .RINGG”
Luna sat up immediately, her mouth forming a nervous grin.
“Hi Mochi! It’s me, Luna! Are you busy right now? Can I ask you something?”
Luna nodded while holding her phone to her ear,
“Perfect! Let me put you on speaker. . .”
She lowered her phone and typed a little before speaking,
“OK. So, Mochi, there is someone interviewing me, totally. And they’re asking about my personality, could you like- help me out?”
She looked at the camera and smiled as she waited for a response.
Mochi T. Saito would distantly say, “Um.. so like, I kinda dipped out of the country. But! Luna is very charming. She's incredibly flirtatious and playful from what I've witnessed. A lovely girl, don't get me wrong. Although they can be a bit feisty at times…”
“Feisty!?!??! ME!?!? When!? HOW?”
Silence.
“Hello?? Hel-”
She looked at her phone.
“Oh. This bitch hung up.”

Luna's eyes widened slightly when she saw the person come in. She immediately sat up and smiled invitingly.
“Heyyy. . .! It’s been a hot minute- I didn’t expect you to be here! N-not that it’s anything bad I just...”
She turned to the camera and played with her ear.
“ANYWAY, hi. Sit, sit. I’m asking everyone to describe me the way they’d describe me since this person asked me. . .to describe me.”
She giggled nervously.
Anzai Monet says, “Oh?~ How would I personally describe them? Hm.. let's see.. They're very spontaneous! From my experiences with them, I have found out they don't mind trying out new things. They're hot as well, like.. hot hot. She's mine. Even though she is taken now.. she's still mine. Don't believe me? She has those Katana slashes for a reason~”
“Oh my-”
Luna turned to Anzai, she threw herself at them- are they about to make out!??!

She smiled when she saw Judah come in and slid to the side so they would have some distance from each other.
“Hey bestie!”
She giggled.
“This is Judah! One of my close friends. . .”
She turned to the camera, nodding.
Luna turned to Judah,
“So, could you describe me to this person?”
Judah Theodore Smith says, “How I would describe Luna would be a sweet caring person, one of my best friends. Remember meeting her at the bank and our friendship went from there. Really proud of how far she’s come in life.”
“Aw, that’s really sweet, Judah! Will forever thank the bank for bringing me such a great human in my life.”
She smiled and hugged him briefly before turning back to her camera.
“Well, I am also extremely proud of this guy, he’s a whole surgeon now! And a whole DAD. Can you believe that? Crazy.”

Zenith playfully rolled her eyes when she saw her sister enter.
“Hey rat.”
She giggled.
“This is my sister, you can tell who’s the better one. . .”
She leaned back and looked at the camera while quietly pointing at herself.
“Anywho! Nadia, this person wants to know my personality, could ya help me out?”
Nadia Zenith says, “How would I describe my sister? Eheh... she's a bitch. Very annoying as well. Although I will have to admit.. I love her. I love them a lot. She's probably the best sister I have. (That's a joke, she's the only sister I have.) But! She's very caring, even if we do act like we hate each other I know she cares a lot about me. She's pretty funny, honestly!! Her jokes are good, her humor overall is just- chefs kiss. She's very sassy though.. although that's what makes Luna, Luna. She's bold. Not only bold, but brave. Hell, she's pretty smart too!”
Luna took a sideways glance at the camera and gave a smarmy look.
“I mean. . .I guess Nadia isn’t THATT bad. . .”

Luna was once again sitting alone on the couch. She had inappropriately leaned against the couch and was holding the phone in her hand when it rang through the speakers.
“I’m calling my other rat sibling. He better pick up.”
“Ring. . .Riingg. . .RINGG”
“Ello??? Grey? Can you hear me?”
She leaned forward and grinned at the camera.
Grey Zenith says, “Luna- im kind of busy right now, what do you want?”
Luna gasped in offense,
“Bitch! Ok, uh I was just wondering if you could describe me to this person, they want to know about my personality.”
Grey Zenith says, “You call me after two years to ask me THAT? Bro. . .ok. Uhm, Luna is a great sister when she wants to be, she is energetic, loving, but naive as fuck. It’s been a while since I’ve talked to her, and got to see her- but, she’s a great person, anyone is lucky to interact with her. She’s very human, and I like that about her. Like everyone, she makes mistakes- but she learns. Luna and I don’t have the best relationship, but I can see she tries. . .I miss you Luna, I really do.”
Luna would cover her mouth, with tears in her eyes,
“Damn bitch, why do you always want to make me cry.”
She laughed and wiped her right eye.
“Thank you Grey, hopefully I will see you again, we miss you.”

Luna sat neatly next to a rather mature woman.
“Everyone, I’m excited to introduce you guys to my favorite professor!”
She smiled, turning to them.
“She is my bestie, mhm!”
She giggled,
“So, Ms. Hyun! This is my interview, and that- that person is the one asking me weird questions, one of which I need your help with. . .could you describe me to them?”
She turns to the camera before returning to Ji-Soo.
“No hard feelings! I promise.”
She let out a big thumbs up.
Ji-Soo Hyun says, “Luna's an.. interesting individual to say the least. She's taught me a lot of things!! She's very outgoing. Oh and! She is pretty athletic. Although she won't join a team.. she'll still cheer from the sidelines and play volleyball with her friends. I think Luna's very out there too. In a good way!! They're amazing. Very cool. I rate them a 12/10!”
Luna smiled before letting out a slight chuckle,
“Well- I kind of stopped doing my little cheers but...”
She twisted her ring as she let out a nervous laugh.
“Thank you, Ji-Soo! I won’t take much of your time now. . .”
She smiled and waved before turning to the camera,
“I’m her favorite, for sure.”

Luna was properly seated next to a blond woman.
“So, Natalia. Hi. . .it’s been a while.”

She paused, taking a deep breath.
“Someone took her life. . .in front of me.”

“That wound is still very open. . .it’s a pain to talk about her. Only because I always remember how much I took her for granted. . .and just knowing that we never got the ending we deserved. We were so close- and then it was just. . .gone.”
She frowned, a sack of tears in her chest she refused to spill.
“Aikana will always have a place in my heart, but I’ve learned to move on, I’ve learned to find peace with her death. I visit her grave whenever I can. . .it’s been- a little over two years since she died, and I miss her so much.”
She would take a deep breath, taking a large sip from her cup.
“There’s so much I want to say about her. . .it’s just hard.”
“I know I never deserved the love she gave me, or her, but she was everything I was missing, she helped me grow, and heal from shit I never thought I could heal from. She deserved the world, and I wasn’t able to give her that, she was my best friend, my everything. She trusted me with her life, and I failed her. If I were able to go back in time and change anything, it would have been me, not her.”

On August 5, 2002, Luna Zenith was brought into this world by Blanca Zenith-Ortíz. In the small town of Karakura, Japan, the couple welcomed a set of twins, Luna and Grey Zenith. Blanca was a sweet Mexican woman, and the father, Lee Zenith, was a rougher Japanese man. The Zenith twins also had an older sister, Nadia Zenith, who took after her father’s personality, being rough around the edges.
Growing up, the parents decided to speak only Japanese, so the kids would naturally learn the language of the country they lived in. The kids began to speak at about 15 months, Luna having started to speak sooner. Luna grew up to be closer to her mother, due to her father’s attitude and personality. Once the twins started school, Blanca decided to start to teach Luna how to speak Spanish as well as her already learning Japanese. This confused the girl for a while, often mixing up the two languages mid-sentence and confusing anyone she was speaking to.
That only lasted until she was 6 years old. After that, she finally understood the difference between the languages and was able to effectively switch between the two. By the time she was 10, she was speaking at a native level for both of the languages she knew, and was proud of that fact.
However, hardship soon overcame the family. When Luna turned 11, her mother was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer, and had to find a way to break the news to her family. It took a week after the diagnosis before Lee had Blanca sit all the kids down in one room to tell them all. This led to an extremely emotional conversation, but there was still hope. Blanca began chemotherapy, and for 3 months, things looked hopeful. It seemed as though she was beating the odds, but then by month 4, she seemed to be getting worse and worse again. Luna could see the pain her mother was in, and one day, that pain disappeared, along with her mother.
A wave of depression hit the Zenith family, striking Lee Zenith extremely hard. The only thing that kept him going was his children. He tried to keep the appearance of being strong and worked to sustain his family. Giving his children all the material things they needed, such as food, clothing, and a home. He gave them everything but the thing they needed most: his love and affection. Due to this, Luna had trouble developing social skills.
The girl was forced to grow up basically by herself, but despite that, she never grew to be independent. She has severe separation anxiety, leading her to be very clingy to her friends. From the ages of 14 to 15, some very traumatic experiences befell the girl. Things that she chose to hide deep down, where they could not reach her. These experiences led her to find comfort in alcohol and smoking, and when she was 16, she was caught doing these dangerous activities and was put into rehab.
As she began going through with the rehab, she began to learn JSL to communicate with her friends who had recently learned it, due to some troubles they had encountered. It was difficult for her, but she managed to learn the language.
It was also at the beginning of her rehab journey when her twin brother was taken from her. He and their father went to Mexico without Luna, leaving her with only her sister in Karakura. This only made her recovery take longer, but she overcame her addiction when she was 18. This was when she was the proudest and chose to come out to her family. However, when she thought she would be accepted, she was shunned and disowned by her father.
Luna lost her family, and had to couch surf for a while, crashing with her friends if they allowed her to. At least until she was able to afford her own home by working odd jobs and selling anything she could. As tragic as these events were, Luna had grown to be more independent and live on her own. She finally was able to be happy and even found someone to love.
One day, their love blossomed and they got closer and closer. And then, one fateful day, Luna’s girlfriend, Aikana, chose to propose to her. The two went on a boat date and enjoyed their night out, and at the end of the night, she popped the question. However, before Luna could say yes, a masked figure approached her from behind and dragged a knife across her neck. Horror dawned on Luna’s face as she saw the love of her life breathe for her last time. Then the individual decided to take her eyes and tongue before leaving, making her harder to recognize.
This broke Luna once again, and still to this day sticks with her. Due to this encounter, Luna is unable to fall in love with anyone else without pushing them away once they get too close. She does not allow herself to fall in love with anyone, afraid the same fate may befall them as her deceased ex-fiance.

She leaned forward and propped her chin on her palm while giving Yuzu her full attention.
Yuzu K. Monet Fukushima says, “MY BITCH! I Looooooove Luna.. We have a lot of chemistry together. They are absolutely stunning, and very charming. She's lovely to be around. I don't think there is one time that I have been bored around Zenith, as they've always kept me entertained or busy. She is strong, and I am not just talking physically. Physically, yes they're strong. But boy.. they've gone through a lot. They are incredibly strong, and brave in my opinion. My best bitch right here.”
Luna reached behind her and pulled out a box of tissues. She took one and blew her nose almost immediately.
She nodded,

She would let go so that Yuzu could go.

Eun-Jae Oshiro says, “Uhhh.. I don't- know Luna all that well. They seem nice..! Don't get me wrong. They seem lovely to hang out with. Although I haven't had too many interactions with her. She's beautiful, and she seems like a very independent woman.”

She's very nice, no matter what I have put her through, she's been there for me. She's a very caring person. Mainly to those who are close to her. Her humor is amazing, although haters may say otherwise.. Luna's very fun, she's entertaining to be around.”
Luna heaved a loud sigh. She was spellbound by Eli's words.

She pretended to wipe the tears from her face. She turned to the camera as she began to address Eli from the side,

Luna sat up immediately, her mouth forming a nervous grin.
“Hi Mochi! It’s me, Luna! Are you busy right now? Can I ask you something?”
Luna nodded while holding her phone to her ear,
“Perfect! Let me put you on speaker. . .”
She lowered her phone and typed a little before speaking,
“OK. So, Mochi, there is someone interviewing me, totally. And they’re asking about my personality, could you like- help me out?”
She looked at the camera and smiled as she waited for a response.

She giggled nervously.
Anzai Monet says, “Oh?~ How would I personally describe them? Hm.. let's see.. They're very spontaneous! From my experiences with them, I have found out they don't mind trying out new things. She smiled and hugged him briefly before turning back to her camera.
“Well, I am also extremely proud of this guy, he’s a whole surgeon now! And a whole DAD. Can you believe that? Crazy.”

Luna was once again sitting alone on the couch. She had inappropriately leaned against the couch and was holding the phone in her hand when it rang through the speakers.
“I’m calling my other rat sibling. He better pick up.”

“Ello??? Grey? Can you hear me?”
She leaned forward and grinned at the camera.
Grey Zenith says, “Luna- im kind of busy right now, what do you want?”
Luna gasped in offense,
“Bitch! Ok, uh I was just wondering if you could describe me to this person, they want to know about my personality.”
Grey Zenith says, “You call me after two years to ask me THAT? Bro. . .ok. Uhm, Luna is a great sister when she wants to be, she is energetic, loving, but naive as fuck. It’s been a while since I’ve talked to her, and got to see her- but, she’s a great person, anyone is lucky to interact with her. She’s very human, and I like that about her. Luna is extremely sweet, probably too sweet for her own good, so long as you don’t get on her bad side. “She has taught me a lot of things, and I’ve learned so many lessons with her. I truly care for her, and am very proud of how far she has come. I believe she is happily married now! And has a son, you’ve met him! Micah. She might have other kids- but I dunno, lowkey forgot.”
She leaned back, making herself comfortable,
“Things were awkward after that whole. . .romantic situation but, we learned to grow out of it and move on. She’s one of my best friends and I admire her so much.”
Luna wouldn’t stop smiling.
“When I’m older- and out of college, I want to be as successful and as organized as her.”

“Anyway, we kind of fell off. . .only because she’s moved so far away- we barely have time to communicate with each other. I’ll never forget how she helped me figure out who I was, and my self-worth. She was always there for me, and is such a loyal friend to me. I still believe she deserves the world, she’s just great.”

“Anzai and I did have that katana moment. . .and it was fun while it lasted! But- no. I’m not hers as she claimed earlier. . .I stopped being “hers” the day she gave some other girl her number. . .in front of me too!”
She laughed, weakly.
“I haven’t talked to her for a long time, until now of course- I honestly thought she forgot about me, or moved on. . .I guess not.”
She bit the inside of her cheek,
“This scar. . .will always remind me of the day I stopped being myself. . .but will I do it again? Hell yeah.”

“He’s engaged. . .or married, I forgot- and! He has a son, his name is. . .”
She would go silent, looking up as she squinted her eyes, trying to remember.
“Noah? I think that’s the name. . .yes! I remember Judah saying something about a Noah.”
She shrugged.
“Anyway, Judah is a surgeon now! So proud of him.”

She smiled, taking a quick sip from her cup.
“She is very pretty, and young- one student even had a crush on her. . .I found it weird but, Ji-Soo is harmless, she’s just very outgoing and maybe that’s why students seem to love her.”
Luna leaned in, whispering,
“I’m her favorite student. The first student to ever have her number, suck it bitches!”
She nodded, smiling.

She let out a thumbs up to the camera.

Luna’s heart ached, she didn’t know what to do with herself, she would adjust her seating position at least a few times before clearing her throat.
“Aikana. I didn’t expect to hear her name in this. . .”
She let out a soft smile.
“The last woman I’ll ever love, honestly. She, uh, passed away the moment she proposed to me. Someone. . .”
She paused, taking a deep breath.
“Someone took her life. . .in front of me.”
She held onto the ring on her left middle finger.
“That wound is still very open. . .it’s a pain to talk about her. Only because I always remember how much I took her for granted. . .and just knowing that we never got the ending we deserved. We were so close- and then it was just. . .gone.”
She frowned, a sack of tears in her chest she refused to spill.
“Aikana will always have a place in my heart, but I’ve learned to move on, I’ve learned to find peace with her death. I visit her grave whenever I can. . .it’s been- a little over two years since she died, and I miss her so much.”
She would take a deep breath, taking a large sip from her cup.
“There’s so much I want to say about her. . .it’s just hard.”
“I know I never deserved the love she gave me, or her, but she was everything I was missing, she helped me grow, and heal from shit I never thought I could heal from. She deserved the world, and I wasn’t able to give her that, she was my best friend, my everything. She trusted me with her life, and I failed her. If I were able to go back in time and change anything, it would have been me, not her.”
Luna looked away as she wiped a tear,

On August 5, 2002, Luna Zenith was brought into this world by Blanca Zenith-Ortíz. In the small town of Karakura, Japan, the couple welcomed a set of twins, Luna and Grey Zenith. Blanca was a sweet Mexican woman, and the father, Lee Zenith, was a rougher Japanese man. The Zenith twins also had an older sister, Nadia Zenith, who took after her father’s personality, being rough around the edges.
Growing up, the parents decided to speak only Japanese, so the kids would naturally learn the language of the country they lived in. The kids began to speak at about 15 months, Luna having started to speak sooner. Luna grew up to be closer to her mother, due to her father’s attitude and personality. Once the twins started school, Blanca decided to start to teach Luna how to speak Spanish as well as her already learning Japanese. This confused the girl for a while, often mixing up the two languages mid-sentence and confusing anyone she was speaking to.
That only lasted until she was 6 years old. After that, she finally understood the difference between the languages and was able to effectively switch between the two. By the time she was 10, she was speaking at a native level for both of the languages she knew, and was proud of that fact.
However, hardship soon overcame the family. When Luna turned 11, her mother was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer, and had to find a way to break the news to her family. It took a week after the diagnosis before Lee had Blanca sit all the kids down in one room to tell them all. This led to an extremely emotional conversation, but there was still hope. Blanca began chemotherapy, and for 3 months, things looked hopeful. It seemed as though she was beating the odds, but then by month 4, she seemed to be getting worse and worse again. Luna could see the pain her mother was in, and one day, that pain disappeared, along with her mother.
A wave of depression hit the Zenith family, striking Lee Zenith extremely hard. The only thing that kept him going was his children. He tried to keep the appearance of being strong and worked to sustain his family. Giving his children all the material things they needed, such as food, clothing, and a home. He gave them everything but the thing they needed most: his love and affection. Due to this, Luna had trouble developing social skills.
The girl was forced to grow up basically by herself, but despite that, she never grew to be independent. She has severe separation anxiety, leading her to be very clingy to her friends. From the ages of 14 to 15, some very traumatic experiences befell the girl. Things that she chose to hide deep down, where they could not reach her. These experiences led her to find comfort in alcohol and smoking, and when she was 16, she was caught doing these dangerous activities and was put into rehab.
As she began going through with the rehab, she began to learn JSL to communicate with her friends who had recently learned it, due to some troubles they had encountered. It was difficult for her, but she managed to learn the language.
It was also at the beginning of her rehab journey when her twin brother was taken from her. He and their father went to Mexico without Luna, leaving her with only her sister in Karakura. This only made her recovery take longer, but she overcame her addiction when she was 18. This was when she was the proudest and chose to come out to her family. However, when she thought she would be accepted, she was shunned and disowned by her father.
Luna lost her family, and had to couch surf for a while, crashing with her friends if they allowed her to. At least until she was able to afford her own home by working odd jobs and selling anything she could. As tragic as these events were, Luna had grown to be more independent and live on her own. She finally was able to be happy and even found someone to love.
One day, their love blossomed and they got closer and closer. And then, one fateful day, Luna’s girlfriend, Aikana, chose to propose to her. The two went on a boat date and enjoyed their night out, and at the end of the night, she popped the question. However, before Luna could say yes, a masked figure approached her from behind and dragged a knife across her neck. Horror dawned on Luna’s face as she saw the love of her life breathe for her last time. Then the individual decided to take her eyes and tongue before leaving, making her harder to recognize.
This broke Luna once again, and still to this day sticks with her. Due to this encounter, Luna is unable to fall in love with anyone else without pushing them away once they get too close. She does not allow herself to fall in love with anyone, afraid the same fate may befall them as her deceased ex-fiance.
