Describe your activity on the server:
My activity I would say is definitely high, and active. Playing almost every day since August of last year, I would say I have played up to 4-6 hours each day, whether that be spending quality time with the friends I have made on this server, or teaching people the volleyball plugin that I have spent more hours playing on than I would like to admit. SchoolRP as a whole has just given me so many opportunities during my free time, and it'll forever be a server that I can just pick up and play. I have tried many experiences in the server too, some including Sport/JockRP (Current favourite), Criminal/Gang/CombatRP, FamilyRP, and there's so much more to explore, I definitely see myself still being active in the future.
Something brief i'll also mention here, I am normally online during the night for me, working during the day. Which alternatively means my sleep schedule falls in line with a more PST time zone. (I find it somewhat amusing but I'm normally online during 10pm-3am my time.)
What is your motivation for applying?:
Since playing on this server, KPD has always been a faction that I have enjoyed interacting with, whether it be random encounters with them on the street, coming up to say hello and exchanging a brief, silly interaction with our oc's, or it being more serious with seeing them detain someone for questioning, it's been a faction that i've always had the most rememberable interactions with, and that in itself has inspired me to be apart of their workforce. Overall I really like how interactive the faction is, with the people also being friendly and easy to talk too, I would like to think I'd fit right in with the faction!
What knowledge do you have of Police Work?
My knowledge with police work is where it falls a bit flat, though I have some basic knowledge of it. I think for starters the bread and butter of police work would probably be answering calls. Getting a call from a citizen, and inquiring about why they are calling, and if they are in any serious danger, is the most common type of police work seen in KPD. Another common occurrence would be patrols, this is another common and frequent task of the police force, going on the lookout for any citizens that need help, (this is the one where I had frequently interacted with the KPD a lot) or on the lookout for any suspicious and or criminal activity. From what I know, hosting a patrol requires two (?) officers, walking around a specific route. The other knowledge I sort of have is camera checks and of course arrests, though I don't have too much knowledge to explain further on those instances. (Also codes but again I have zero knowledge of how they work.. Just that they exist.)

Police Baton | This is a steel baton that is used by all officers. This item requires two hits to the head to knock out a player and is able to be mugged. The baton has a two block range, similar to a bat. |
Handcuffs | This item is used as a restraint and is accessible to all officers. This item has a one block range, and if you try to pull it out whilst in range of another player, you must successfully action and win a roll. |
Police Radio | Radios are communication devices all officers can use. They cannot be stolen and require a weapon (blunt or sharp) to be destroyed. |
Stun Blaster | A weapon that stuns players and prevents movement, it is used by all officers. If successfully used it stuns the target for 60 seconds. This item, similar to handcuffs, requires you to action and win the roll if you pull it out whilst in range of another player. |
Gas Mask | A mask used to protect an officer's identity, as well as protect them from sprays and other biological threats. This item can be stolen. |
Tranquilizer | This item is a tool only sergeants and detective inspectors use to knock a target out for a total of up to two minutes. This item cannot be stolen, and it requires an action and roll to reload if in range |
Pepper Spray | An item that you can use up to 3 times, it is a device that temporarily blinds the target. Blinding for 60 seconds unless the target is wearing a gas mask. This item cannot be stolen and all officers can use this. |
Riot Shield | This item is to be used defensively, I have the least amount of knowledge about the shields, however I am aware that it has 2 modes; defensively, you cannot use offense, and damage to the front or sides of the shield will take no effect. Whereas offensively, the shield will not provide protection, yet you could use an offensive tool alongside it. For example, a baton. |
Crowbar | This item can be used to pry open doors. It can be stolen. It is accessible to only the police corporals and above. |
Why is the Police important to SchoolRP?
I believe that the KPD faction of SchoolRP encourages tons of roleplay within the server. Having the KPD faction allows events and altercations between gang/crime roleplay that other factions just couldn’t do. Both factions have to collide with each other to simply work in the server, without crime there wouldn’t be a need for KPD and without KPD CrimeRP would be lacking fear and drive. I find that aspect really engaging and fun that the server keeps a good balance of criminals and law enforcement. KPD also works well with other factions, having the need of protection and safety, KPD can join almost any events within the server. For example, EMS work hand in hand with KPD, KPD have altercations and may need to escort civilians to EMS.
Police overall just play a very important role in general. Officers patrol routes, monitoring the streets and CCTV, enforcing rules and helping Karakura. KPD serves as a beacon of authority and protection, it’s so important to have a police force that will respond to crimes and provide protection to the town.
Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are needed to attend or you will be punished?
Yes!

Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?
Adrîon Roy is a young mixed male, weighing in at 175lbs. His hair, a blend of dirty brown at the roots, fading into a light caramel towards the ends. Dark steady eyes locked onto whoever met his gaze, they told tales. Tales beneath his starry eyes, past battles, survival. His eyes told stories of imprisonment, hope after hardship, stories only survivors could carry. Yet those tales didn’t just teach him toughness, it taught him how to stay kind, as if every new face was another chance to prove the world wasn’t only made out of the things he had survived.
He was charismatic, those very eyes gifted him to recognise behavior patterns among his peers, he knew how to act in tense situations, and how to diffuse them, adaptation was his key, allowing himself to be able to handle a conversation with about anyone, no matter the status or authority they may have over him. However, this also proved tedious at times, he respects justice, not hierarchy. Which can land himself in trouble, he doesn’t rely on status or authority to gain respect, but instead tries to understand his surroundings, the people mostly. Manly believing how older officers approach situations is simply.. Wrong, creating more conflict than they solve, Roy wouldn’t shy away and instead challenge their approach. The way he dressed complimented that attitude, casual jeans and t-shirts he picked up from his local charity shops, a handful of jewelry adorned on his deep sheen body.
He wore silver where bruises once bloomed, small pieces of resilience threaded through the places that had once learned pain. Most memorable was his silver lined lip piercing. It was to remind him that pain doesn’t disappear, and to refuse letting it define him, he always held his head up high, speaking to people in a grave but affable tone, he was certainly welcoming, giving to a community what he had not been given in his past.

How does your character act in a professional/casual situation?
Adrîon Roy has experienced a LOT in his lifetime, in a professional situation he strives to be the best version of himself, a good role model to others, especially to his clients he has to work with, making sure that they know that he’s a reliable crutch to fall back on. He’s a hard worker, and it shows within the professional scene of his political studies. Although, at heart he’s a community person, you’ll see that repeated a lot but that’s because he simply is. Trying not to take himself too seriously, he cracks jokes to the people he’s closest to, knowing when to keep his mouth shut and focus.
What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork?
Teamwork is a foreign concept for Roy, yet he works around this foreign concept to him. He views and handles every task with community. He’ll take the reins if he has to, he has the capability of handling himself as well as others just fine to achieve a goal if he really strives for it. He likes to work with others, he tries to connect with his peers deeply, creating bonds between each other and really creating an environment where he can trust the other. However, he’s known to argue a lot when his views start to clash, he’s big on justice and equality, so much so that sometimes it blinds him on the bigger picture. Always roaring to go forwards, sometimes he needs a reminder to plan ahead. Overall Roy has a good heart and intentions, sometimes a little bit spiteful, but after all he’s dealt with, who wouldn’t?
What's your character's backstory?
Dear Diary,
March 14th, 2026
“The universe holds stars, the moon, the sun - all the beautiful things - and the same universe also holds adults who don’t know how to communicate, garbage, and higher ups who ask why you need sick leave, or why you need breaks. Beauty and mess exist together in harmony without bothering one another. Even the source of creation and a lump of fecal matter exist within the same body. The same f***ing body. How is that even possible? Because when things exist together, they don’t always have to mix. The one who painted the sky must have wondered: If I paint the moon among grey clouds, will the grey stain the light? And maybe that’s when boundaries were invented. Well, the good kind - not the ones that divide flesh and blood, the same that drinks water for glowing skin and then complains about going to the toilet.. Maybe by setting boundaries, you create the picture you want without worrying about other people’s colors bleeding into your canvas. Let your painting be yours for a while. Then you’ll see whose color makes it better - and without whom it’s more beautiful than ever… “
“Ah, I see it now. Ever since I was a kid I always had the nagging feeling that something was wrong. Antoine, my father… May he one day realise the wrongs he did. Kicking me out of my home when I was just a child? Watching me beg and plead for forgiveness, while he just stared at me with those sullen dopey eyes.” The pencil snapped under the strain of his hand. Sweeping the pieces off his desk, he reached for a new one. “But honestly? I should thank him, I was never spoiled by love, I’ll never expect my peers to be any more than perfect, because we’re human, I’ll never expect my partner to be everything, not like my father expected of Lalita, my mother. Oh how I miss her dearly, after I was living off the streets for around a week, returning to my house at dark, that’s when my dad was asleep, Lalita - or ma mère as I used to call her - would provide me food and water, and after a week of this she stood up for herself, and I alongside her. We fled home together, seeking refuge within the legal system in Paris. I would give anything to say thank you to them one last time, long story short they saved us. Father went to jail after CCTV footage proved physical abuse towards me and my mère. 15 years. Fifteen f***ing years. Even though the system practically saved us and let me carry on a normal childhood, that surely wasn’t enough time for him to be put away? It didn’t sit well with me, no not at all.”
“Sooo… What did I do? Well I let that sit with me, let it stir up in my brain, what if’s, possibilities, outcomes. So much to think about, but… There was nothing I could do, I mean I was just a child, what if there were other people out there in my situation? People that were barely hanging on by a thread, people that got worse outcomes than me, what if the system didn’t give proper justice to other families. I guess that’s what inspired me when I was young huh. Anyways I must’ve been a smart kid, after a long discussion with my mère I came to a conclusion, I wanted to study law, but… Away from Paris, it was time for a change of scenery anyways.”
“After a couple months of studying everything there is to know about politics and law and the whole run down, mind you I was home-schooled until 18 years old.. Mère suggested we move to Japan, she found a small town called Karakura. I was skeptical at first, I didn’t know she was so interested in Japanese culture but then again, that didn’t seem so bad. The language was difficult to learn, though after living over here for.. What? 7 years? I slowly picked up everything there is to know. Apart from all that jazz, maybe I wasn’t the best student, see these people here have some weird views. Like what do you mean someone who was accused of assault can be released the next day with just a little bit of yen. My suspicions as a child were correct, going into political science and law, I studied everything there is to know, every nook and cranny about each different sentence, the legal system as a whole, public policies you name it in Karakura. This gave me a gateway to apply for the police force… I just hope I can make a difference, the role models I looked up too as a kid would be proud of me. Well, maybe. I strive to challenge old views for the better, I believe there ARE villains in this world, it’s stupid to let them roam freely, the poor innocent souls of anywhere doesn’t deserve that fate. I hope to start making a difference here in Karakura.”
“God… Seven years already? That would make me 25 years old now huh… The same birthday that my father gets released from jail.”
He dropped his pencil, a loud clack as it dropped to the wooden desk. He looked over to his laptop, the screen had been displaying his application for KPD for hours now. Still waiting, he sighed as he laid down into his bed. The laptop was still open, waiting for a response, for a chance to prove to himself that this was all worth it, to prove to his mère he made something out of himself after all the hardships.
Can you legally own a pocket knife in Karakura?
“Is.. Is that a trick question? Obviously it's a no. Who in their right mind goes around carrying a pocket knife in a town like this? It’s society, not the wilderness, there’s real lives at stake here, survival isn’t an excuse to hold a pocket knife, nor is just because it’s cool. I mean… They are kinda neat, but god I'd hope it’s not legal, some people are crazy out here.”
Name 5 medical items that do NOT require a prescription
“Hmm, I remember reading up on this somewhere, I’ll start off with the obvious lot. Band-Aids, cough syrup, paracetamol. These items explain themselves, we don’t want to write a prescription for these now, they are essential. Now the weirder ones I know of… Eyepatch? Yeah makes sense, I mean I'm shocked this is even on the list can’t you get one at like a costume store or something? Pff, anyways same deal with a wooden cane, we don’t need to write prescriptions for a wooden stick essentially.”
If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do?
He tapped a finger against the table. “Mmm, well that’s a tricky one, our units as a whole should be family, right? That being said I'd pull him aside for a little talk, maybe I can talk some sense into the co-worker before he lands himself into further trouble, just looking out for them y’know? If things start to escalate or they don’t listen to my advice then fine, instead I would go talk to this about a supervisor, recalling the situation as well as asking for a check up on the inmate. They’re criminals, but they still feel just like the rest of us. It'd be non-human of us to solely focus on consequences and not the well-being of the prisoners.”
What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted?
“Jump in, ask questions later first right? Haahh… I’m kiddin’. Though it really depends on how bad the situation is, assault can vary, if it’s life threatening then, yeah i’m jumping in and assessing the situation afterwards. Detaining them becomes top priority, after the threat is neutralized then I’ll check up on my co-worker, hoping they are okay and taking them to EMS if it’s critical. Ahh… That’ll be a lot of explaining as well when talking to higher-ups too.”
What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations?
“Shame on them really. How are you going to join the force to work AGAINST your own morals. How twisted can one individual be? I’d try suppressing my anger towards the individual, letting them know I know what’s going on between the lines is a sure way to get myself in big trouble. As much as I would want to confront them head on, even myself I know it’s just stupid for me to go ahead and try that. No, instead I would gather up a few good men, people I can REALLY trust within the force. We’ll do a background check on them, any evidence is valuable in building a case against them, and any evidence goes straight to the higher ups, hopefully, the amount of evidence we would’ve gathered was enough for them, if it wasn’t… I’d try to dispute my case against them ten fold. Corruption is downright unruly and disgusting. I’ll ask anyone to help to get them behind bars in the end.”
How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you?
“Bribery huh? I came from a background where money was scarce and I was lucky to even have food on my plate. I know how to survive without money, and bribing an officer is a reaaaaal smart way to land yourself a charge on your record. The audacity to try and get away scott free by just sliding a couple of dirty money behind the counter, it almost frustrates me. I’d detain them, charge them for attempting to bribe an officer, I guess it’d be a funny story to tell the others, aye’?
