Making a new sport, Fencing! Since swords ARE added to minecraft but we could skin them to make iron swords like Rapiers!

Each player will have one heart along with an iron sword. The player would have to be on a lead so it would look as if they’re on a string take pull them back or hold them steady. The players would be able to move back but only limited along with their jump to be limited. This all depends on how fast you can click the players, they may step back but maybe when they are on the playing field they’re hit with a potion of slowness depending on their stamina which may be limited because of how fast They’re able to move back and forth. Who would be the fastest fencer?

How will this benefit the server and community?:
This will benefit the community by their timing skills and pvp. How fast can you click to hit another player? This would also be entertainment! Fencing suits are very nice to wear, it would be cool to see people wearing fencing clothes on SRP.

Adding fencing into SRP as a /team/ would be rather redundant, considering fencing is like a personal sport, contested between two people rather than teams. Introducing a team dynamic or a new sport wouldn't contribute significantly. That said, it's a good idea to add it, but I think it's something that needs to be done personally depending on how teams work in SRP.

Track and Swim are also sports where individuals compete, rather than full teams. That said, new sports are not going to be implemented, especially if they're niche and or difficult to implement.

(as a previous track captain and somebody who spent over 2 years on the team, i think track is the sports equivalent of the shrine faction, track bros be starving for attention.)

Could also be a custom(s) idea (helmet/mask and sword thingy) and can be roleplayed out like a hobby instead of a full on sports team. If we're goin to add a team might as well make it dodgeball (although it was suggested and denied).

how so? a student club often is made for things like this. its not a sport so much worth adding a whole new thing so they tend to go for student cuhs. e.g chess or debate club
