Backstory:
Ashlyn V. De La Croix was born on February 14th, 2002. Her father is unknown, but her mother is Emily C. Olmstead. Her parents soon split up, leaving Ashlyn to travel to Oklahoma with her mother. Her mother wasn't really poor, nor rich. At 5 years old Ashlyn went to kindergarten. She then discovered her love for coins. Pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, you name it. Thus resulting in her nickname, ''Nickel''. She had a pretty average life until May 20, 2013. At 11 years old, she had to watch her mother die. When the Moore tornado hit, Ashlyn and her mother hid in the bathroom. The tornado caused such strong winds to blow that it took the nail scissors in the bathroom and flung it at Emily, causing her to be stabbed. Ashlyn, not knowing what to do, took the nail scissors out. Her mother then died of a loss of blood. If the death of her mother wasn't enough, when the tornado was over she looked over the town and it was destroyed. Water everywhere, mixed with hail, created a slush hard to walk in. Her half sister, Mila N. Rotisso went to Oklahoma, got Ashlyn, and returned back to Karakura. Now, Ashlyn is traumatized by the tornado and the death of her mother.
