What is your motivation for applying?: There are two main reasons.
- Even though I've already been a teacher and have been through what it's like, applying for a new subject could change my experience completely. I want a fresh, new start in roleplaying, which lead me to want to become a teacher again.
- I want to revive the sports teams since they are a big part of High School. Mainly, the ones I'm talking about would be the Volleyball team, Cheerleading, and the Baseball team. At this point, they're all kind of dead, since nobody really coaches them.
Do you have any experience in Roleplaying?: Specifically in teaching on the server, yes. Like I previously mentioned, I used to be an English teacher. Outside of teaching, I've been on this server since the Furness map. Being on this server for a long time has made me an almost "skilled" roleplayer.
Have you read the Faculty Handbook?: I haven't been able to locate it to review it. Though if someone provides a link I will read it.
What are the classroom logs and why is it important?: I believe a classroom log's purpose is to keep track of classroom activities that teachers are doing-- (I can't find much information on this). It's important for teachers to keep track of previous lessons and activities that they've done with the class, in order to move onto the next one and not be repetitive
You want to start a school field trip; how do you do that?: I would fill out an application under the [School Field Trips] section.
As a teacher, what are the strict rules when being in a class?:
As well as following the basic rules that almost every teacher enforces in their classroom, I make sure every child:
- Is respectful towards the equipment
- Raises their hand when answering a question
- Does NOT verbally or physically harass another student
- Does NOT use their electronic device in class
- WILL participate in activities (unless given permission to sit out)
Summarize your previous RP experience's (both in general and on SchoolRP): In the past, I've noticed that not many classes are conducted (even though there's a large number of teachers now).
Even though I'm a College student, I've also heard many other students complain about the lack of classes and extracurricular activities on the server.
Describe the ranking system of teachers:
- HD: Head of Department teachers are required to lead and manage the QTLS' and the NQT's by creating lesson plans and ensuring they are top notch in the education department.
- QTLs: QLTS can teach their own regular classes, with a lesson plan. They are usually very skilled teachers who are experienced in teaching a class.
- NQT: NQTs can teach a class temporarily (or fill in for another teacher). They are often inexperienced teachers who are just starting their teaching career.

Teachers across the globe provide students with knowledge that will benefit them in their future. They can have specific subjects they focus on (Mathematics, English, Geography, etc.) or can teach students more than one topic.
All teachers are different; having different, unique ways of teaching and making learning fun for their students.
A few common ways to involve their class in a lesson include: asking questions, involving students in activities, pop quizzes, handing out textbooks and giving homework.
An average English teacher in Japan makes 250,00¥ per month (according to https://www.gooverseas.com/blog/salary-expectations-for-teaching-in-japan) and in their spare time they grade papers, plan future lessons, and have personal events.
Why are teachers important to a SchoolRP server?: Well, just take a look at the server's name: SchoolRP. Without teachers, the server wouldn't be exciting or realistic. Many students enjoy being taught on the server since it gives them something to do.

Laura Cooper stands at around 5'10, with light blonde hair usually tucked back into a ponytail or a bun. She has hazel eyes and pale skin with a tint of the sun. Unlike most teachers, she wears more casual/"athletic" clothing while teaching, due to being the Phys. Ed teacher. She has more of a relaxed attitude but will be strict when necessary.
Though she doesn't want to admit it, traveling would be her ideal future when she retires.
Scenarios
You find a gang of delinquents in the hallway cursing and swearing, what do you do?: I would bring them to the Principal's office immediately. After all, they are supposed to be role models for younger/other students.
No one in your class is listening to a word you say, what do you do?: I would blow my whistle first, with no punishment. However, if it continues, I will come up with an appropriate punishment
When in the teacher's lounge, how does your character act?: Lauren's would be social towards other teachers, from making small talk to just listening to another teacher rant about their class.

Since I probably won't use a classroom, I'll just include some actions I'd normally do while teaching
/me puts her hands in a "bump" position, before turning back towards the class
/me blows her whistle, impatiently waiting for the class to settle down

Backstory
Lauralyn "Laura" Cooper was born on July 3rd, 1993 in a large city just west of Toronto. From a very young age, she was interested in sports. She was always so competitive, striving to be the best in every sport she played. Now, of course, she was heavily influenced by her sister Eloise, who also had a passion for athletics.
Nevertheless, by the time Laura was in Grade 9, she was already a confident young women. She did decently well in all her subjects but excelled in Gym-- (which was all she really cared about).
But around when she was 15 years old, something terrible happened…
She was moving away from Alberta-- into the Sunshine State; Florida, USA.
In Laura’s eyes, this was the end of the world. In her school, she had already established a social standing, made a large group of friends and became the Cheer team captain. But, on the bright side, it did give her a fresh start.
Fast forwarding in time, we now come to Laura as a 17-year-old. Finished High School, she focused on enrolling in a decent College, still being troubled on what career path to go on.
In the few months of working part-time at a local Olive Garden, whilst coaching a swim team, she soon got a letter saying that she was accepted into Broward College, for Sports Medicine.
Not much happened at Broward, except for the occasional party or event.
But, a couple of months into the last semester, Laura received an email from a previous classmate-- stating that she was attending a Teaching College in Japan.
Possibly making the toughest decision of her life, she decided finally, that she would pursue the path of a teacher.
After attending the Teachers College, Laura filled in as a Gym teacher for a local school in Karakura for a short while. She luckily got the opportunity to apply there as an NQT Gym teacher.
And today… She’s currently waiting for it to be reviewed.
