Shop Requested: Shop 8, otherwise known as Club Vibe.
First and foremost, I would like to begin with making the claim that most shop owners do not open as often as they used to in the "Golden Ages" of the server. I, as an individual, would like to change that. The entertainment aspect in a city is a crucial factor in the city's success. If I am designated to be the owner of Club Vibe, I would make it into a place where people, of all kinds, could sit down, have a couple drinks with each other, possibly even dance a bit. From this, you may understand my overall goals/motivation for Club Vibe; creating a safe environment allowing the people of Karakura to enjoy themselves. There is a lot of experiences to be had in Karakura. Not just studying in school. Which is why the system created will be beneficial to the server. How? You may ask. Well, it will prevent players (both old and new) from quitting the server by giving them an option to socialize with people at their local club.
Also to mention, I am the former owner of Karakura's local bar, the Yakuzba, now known and addressed as the CHEX, meaning I have prior experience as a shop owner. Closing off this final sentence, I feel that the Club Vibe being the center of the entertainment in Karakura, needs someone to run it properly and that someone is me.
Personally, I plan on bringing out the store for what it truly is. Not just some pile of junk, stationed in the middle of nowhere. This is a club, a place where people go in order to ease their minds, reduce their stress levels, and most importantly have fun, and if there's something I want to do more than anything else, it's to have fun. As staff on the server, I understand how the players may feel. For example, when there's nothing to do, the school's closed, your friends are offline. Which is why I want to have somewhere to stay when these types of situations are to occur, or whenever possible simply to go and meet new people, socialize and break the ice, bringing them deeper into the server and eventually establishing a reputation amongst the server.
Other than that, I want to improve the store, which I understand is a mediocre, cliche thing to say. But, I go into much more detail within Q3 and Q5.
As soon as I have possession over the club, I plan on changing up things, one of them being the interior. More information about this will be present in Q5. But, I will add to it:
For starters, the overall space of the club is not being used efficiently in my opinion. The private office, instead of being used for business and deals is being used as a giant bedroom, serving no purpose whatsoever to the club, other than aesthetic. That room itself will become an office, where my employees and I may converse and most importantly come up with new and more elaborate ideas for the business, to drive its reputation further. The possibility of there being events at the store is high too, these events will vary from drinking contests, dance competitions, and much more.
(Most being for Adults)
In addition to this, the club will also run on a timetable, allowing players to expect when the club will be open and head over beforehand. The timetable will be realistic and mainly operate during weekends or late nights, as one of my goals is to bring out the nightlife in Karakura, in a positive manner.
Unlike many of the other shop-owners, I do not intend on having an excessive amount of staff. It seems very unnecessary for having more than 10 employees in a club. My plan for the roles are as following:
Bouncer - 2
I plan to have a maximum of 2 bouncers, one of which will be stationed at the gate. The bouncer will be ensuring all is in order. It is ideal to stop people who plan to cause trouble before they enter the club. The other bouncer will be stationed behind the gates, taking the money and opening the door gate for those who pay. Once the day ends, I plan on taking 25% of what the bouncer earned collecting the entrance fees.
Formal attire will be provided for this role; MANDATORY.
Bartender - 2
Similar to the role of the bouncer, I plan on having 2 bartenders. 1 of the 2 will be working behind the counter of the bar, serving ice cold drinks and alcohol, the other bartender will be roaming around, outside of the bar, taking orders of the people seated at the booths and tables. This so guests don't feel like it is a bother to stand from sitting with their friends to go to the bar just to get a drink. It would be far more convenient for the guests to have the drinks come to them, rather than bringing themselves to the drinks. With this, I will also take 25% of their makings.
Formal attire will be provided for this role; MANDATORY.
Supervisor - 1
Unlike the two previous roles, there will only be 1 supervisor. The role of the supervisor is crucial, their job would be to play the music as a DJ, announce anything necessary, and to settle any problems with guests.
Formal attire will be provided for this role; MANDATORY.
The store itself has not been touched in weeks, or months even. Which is why once (and if) I do successfully get my hands on the Club Vibe, I would want to renovate the club as soon as possible. Starting with the so-called "V.I.P" lounge. The "V.I.P" lounge, despite its name, does not live up to its expectations, whatsoever. The "V.I.P" lounge is simply a balcony with a scanty amount of seats, as well as unprotected railing, not doing much to prevent injuries from unattentive guests. My personal vision for a "V.I.P" lounge is something that legitimately matters. For example, seating for the upper-class on a higher level, exclusive service at the bar, speakers, music, fish-tanks, even a cigar lounge! The list goes on-and-on...
For the bar itself, I, personally, want to add models for, ****tails, glasses of whiskey, vodka, shot glasses, etcetera. This will all take time. But, as long as I am making the effort to get these inserted into the game, I believe I'll do more than fine. With this in mind, the bartenders will also be provided with uniforms to wear whilst serving their shifts, not being permitted to simply strut on inside of the club, wearing their normal everyday attire.
As of now, the current music discs are not the greatest, especially the dubstep one. Maybe in 2012 or 2013, they were considered good. But, nowadays, it doesn't fit the current-world-trends. But, if I do successfully take possession of the club, I plan on working with the owner, Ducks himself, to replace the current music with new music that works well with dancing music and music to sit and listen to with your friends while having a drink or two.
One of the first songs that come to mind with this discussion is:
The song fitting the overall "Japanese Theme" as well as then appealing to the more trendy atmosphere. I strongly believe and support, something like this would be much more suitable in a 2018 club, rather than dubstep music which would've been fairly popular during the 2011 - 2013 period.
Moving on from that, the addition of "Private Rooms" would also be another unique feature that will work alongside the "V.I.P" aspect (as described in Q5). Somewhat wealthy visitors can then purchase their own private spots in the club. This means that they will be permitted to then mingle and socialize with their friends without constant disruptions from other guests. These rooms will be reasonably priced and overall make the club feel a bit more alive as people will be spread out around the property, rather than all swarming the dance floor and the bar.
UNIFORMS
As mentioned in Q4, uniforms are required for all roles. Below this message is the three uniforms mandatory for all employees to wear.
