What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
I’m vastly experienced in roleplay. Having played on the server for like, 6-7 years (not a joke..), I’ve slowly developed a skill for writing, and it came out with JockRP & CrimeRP/GangRP/

[CrimeRP\GangRP]

I was in a few gangs, including an old VG, Bonten. I honed my DetailRP a lot there, which only helped me in the future. I started GangRP and CrimeRP thanks to a friend who invited me ICly to their gang, which I happily accepted. I was in said gang for a while, and left after it became inactive. I was then told by another friend of mine which I’ve made from all the CrimeRP and GangRP I did, to join ‘Bonten’. I didn’t know what Bonten was back then, until I actually joined and saw the entire operation. A gang with amazing DetailRP, very accepting and nice people, too. Seeing that, I applied and was accepted. After that, I only honed my DetailRP skills further, going as far as to be able to append multiple times (something I was very much unable to do due to insufficient experience with writing). When Bonten disbanded, I was quite sad, as I didn’t really have a place to go to anymore and be with friends. This year, I returned slightly to CrimeRP, but it didn’t go very far, although I’m still doing a bit of CrimeRP in my free time.

[JockRP\Sports]

After I finished my GangRP/CrimeRP time and I took a long break, I developed an interest in joining a sports team, and I set my eyes on the high school swim team. After a lot of consideration and debating within myself and asking friends, I decided to write and give it a shot. On my very first try, I made it into the team. Sadly, although my stay was quite long, times for practice didn’t match for me, and I left the team after half a year or so. Following that, I took another much needed break from SRP. Now, this year alone, I’ve attended about 4 Track Team tryouts, 3 of them were high school tryouts, and one was the college tryouts. As sad as it was not getting in the first few times, I made it the first time I tried out for college track. I was beyond ecstatic, and am still ecstatic, as I’m still on the team. Track & Swim both ‘forced’ my level of DetailRP to jump, helping me develop on the server and develop as a writer in my own free time. From being able to append twice, I was now able to do multiple appends using /me’s and /it’s

What is your motivation for applying?
I’ve been trying to gather courage to apply for EMS for ages. Having people tell me “yeah, apply! Super fun faction!” put pressure on me to try my best and make a really good application, which I thought I couldn’t. I’m also quite fascinated by medicine, healthcare and all the topics that relate somewhat to healthcare. I know a few good people in EMS, and having the courage now and the means to write this awesome application just made me write it. I believe I can apply and get in, so with that mindset - I decided to write this application!

Which role are you applying for?
Doctor.

What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
Sadly, as I haven’t interacted or asked too many questions from EMS members, I cannot be sure of the role specifics.

Trainee(s)
The trainees are the newest doctors, and are tested and trained thoroughly.

Resident(s)
The residents are doctors that have passed their tests and training, and are now doctors. They are still kept under supervision, but not as heavy as the Trainees.

Attending(s)
Attending doctors are trusted enough and are not kept under close supervision. They usually help the trainees and residents in things they need help with.

Clinical Lead(s)/Chief Paramedic
Clinical leads, as the name suggests, lead their respective sub-factions within the EMS faction. They are highly trained and are very trustworthy. They are very good at their job.

Hospital Deputy Director/Main Director

These are the two most higher ranking figures in the EMS faction. They handle promotions, applications, and things like in-faction ICly drama.

Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are expected to attend or you will be punished?

Yes, I acknowledge.

Character Backstory (Optional):
Born and raised in Gifu, Ai lived on a massive farmland with her family. She went to school normally, and had normal friends, even though she was of higher status. She proved to be a very tough girl. She kept getting into fights with boys who annoyed her, and showed dominance. In later stages of her life, Ai was bitten by a somewhat venomous snake but was treated fast enough for it to not cause any damage. A month after that happened, her grandfather, who was working the rice fields at the time, got bitten by a snake and died shortly after. She killed the snake right when she saw it happen, but was too late in saving her grandfather.

SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?

Ai Naoka’s specialty is in Medical Toxicology. Ai has been bitten by a venomous snake once or twice in her life, which lead her to believe she needs to understand toxicology and poisons better. Her grandfather was bitten by a Yamakagashi (Tiger Keelback), which happened while he was working in her family’s rice fields. He died shortly after. Ai then fully realized she HAD to study Medical Toxicology as her specialty.

Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
Ai has worked for Gifu University for a few months. She was fresh out of school, and they let her work so she can gain experience for future jobs. This helped her immensely.

SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?
Ai is a woman of short stature, she’s about 4’11. She has a tattoo that stretched from the bottom of her neck to the upper back, which wasn’t a very long tattoo. It was of a snake, specifically, the snake type she had killed and lost her grandfather to. She is described as bratty, mean, but honest and caring at times. She has short hair, which could be perceived as her saying “I’ve got nothing to hide!”

How does your character act around the hospital?
Ai is confident. She doesn’t stress under certain circumstances, unless she is put under extreme stress, or extreme situations. She usually hangs around in the staff room, coming out every 5-10 minutes to check the hospital lobby to see if there’s anyone in need of medical assistance. Usually, she’ll make snarky comments about how someone got injured, and will pay no mind to their feelings, unless they state out loud that she’s being mean, which in turn causes her to shut up.

Does your character function better on their own or with others?
Ai would function better in a group. Despite having adaptive capabilities to MANY situations, she’d rather work in a group than alone, as in a group she feels safer, and notes that in the past, having a group back her up, caused her to slip up less. She’s a social butterfly, and so she naturally
chooses to be in groups.

DENIED
Firstly, thank you for applying to the Hospital Faction, and we appreciate your interest. However, after discussing your application with the higher-ups, we have unfortunately decided to deny your application this time around as we feel other applications stood out more.

Nonetheless, we encourage you to keep an eye on the Karakura Emergency #announcements channel for future application waves, and to re-apply at a later date if you're still interested.

This decision was made as a collective among a group of individuals. rather than a single individual. Any DMs to members of the faction and/or higher-ups will be ignored and referred to this response.
