It is stated that one of the perks of buying the server's [ICON] rank is the access to the /changespawn command.

There has been an issue since the rank's release where players who have the rank but do not own property (i.e house, apartment, penthouse) receive error messages and, in turn, can not use /changespawn at all. Tab-completion does not work as no tab shows up, and manually typing in one of the known existing spawn options does not work.

This becomes a bigger issue if the player has alt accounts due to the rule that players are not allowed more than one property across all accounts.

Players who have the [ICON] rank should be allowed to use /changespawn regardless of owning property.

How will this benefit the server and community?:
It grants players the access and ability to use an otherwise promised option, and can further aid in support of the server.

+1 This is explicitly one of the listed features promised upon purchase of the ICON rank. Players should always receive what they agreed to pay for as a consumer. Not acknowledging this, or leaving this as an unpatched bug going forward would be incredibly concerning

As yozb said, it's already concerning a feature promised on a bought rank isn't present. It's significantly worse if this is disregarded like other issues have been disregarded.

As much as I'd like to argue that this could be considered an advantage for Icon users, I cannot ignore the fact that this was promised to them, and many of them bought the rank due to this feature alone. Therefore, I'll place my opinion aside and just state the following;


With the price costing around $120.00 USD, it should've been stated somewhere that only people who owns property is able to perform this command. I don't like to assume that this is the case, because I don't believe the SRP team would do something like that. This is most likely a bug or an error in the program, and should be solved as soon as possible so people get what they paid for.
