Allowing us to delete comments from OnRain posts

There are certain comments many of us do not like having on our posts, and a lot of people tend to spam in them too. It would be so much easier if we could delete them to reduce spam and hateful comments.

How will this benefit the server and community?:
It would reduce spam, negativity and unwanted comments on OnRain posts.​

I agree with Fred, if you do however see something that breaks SRP rules on a post. You can contact a staff member or Tippie himself and they will be able to handle it.

Or, if your character doesn't like the comment, The character(you) can delete it, just like we do in real life.

Unless it breaks SRP rules, comments have no reason to be removed just because the poster doesn't want or like them. Post with caution if you're unable to handle the more negative IC criticism, and if it goes too far, like others have said. . staff is there to handle it.

-1 You have to see the negatives here; what if someone makes a post slandering you? You can't defend yourself in the comments because they'll just delete them. It serves no purpose. You can always block people, repost, or just make your account private -- so that way only you and your circle of friends can see the posts. In real life, people who don't want hate comments, or can't handle them private their accounts, or just don't post at all.

From a staff point of view it really wouldn’t be wise at all to allow players to delete each other’s comments. We still need to moderate OnRain just as much as we need to moderate SRP, and we cannot do that if players are actively deleting comments.

If you feel someone is failrping or you want a specific comment deleted then you can ask staff about it
