Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
A teacher is a member of the school employee team that primarily works with the younger students, from Grade-12 to Grade-7. They are tasked with, well, teaching them. Teachers can decide to teach whenever they want, however they are given a quota for it of course. They host classes at certain periods for students to attend, they can assign homework and mark them dependent on the student, give out stickers which can be exchanged for rewards if the student has done well, assist those who struggle, etcetera. Teachers are the primary body of a school and are expected to be fully mature and professional, always helping where they can. Without them, a school would suffer major economic losses, even if they were to be replaced by a different role/function.

Although they are also expected to be kind to students, they still have to "crack down" on some of them depending on how they behave. An example is a student who is being unnecessarily rude to other students or going as far to assault them, however that'd also need to be escalated into a police matter afterwards. They would obviously have to hand out negatives such as warnings, detentions or even push for suspensions if the student is being very very anti-social.

To put it short, teachers solve the big problem for any school.

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?: Yes
Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?: Yes
What is your motivation for becoming a Teacher?: I would love to join the School Employee faction as I have been doing a lot of looking into it recently and I simply believe that it would be an incredibly fun experience. To be on the other end of the stick, the one who cracks down on those who misbehave. It seems very appealing and I would love to experience it, and also the fact that it'd be helping out those who want to see what it's like too. I often don't see many teachers hosting classes even though there's many of them on, often a full day goes with 0 classes. I want to fill one of those gaps or maybe even all of them if I have the time, aiming to improve the experience for newcomers and add a positive spin to the atmosphere, as some of the teachers are fairly 'lifeless' in some's eyes. I want to be the teacher that NOONE hates, as she rarely has to be truly strict.

To sum it up, I'm motivated because I rarely see classes hosted. I wanna fill that gap.

In-Character Section

What's your character's full name?: Alyssa "Aly" I. Everhart
What is your character's age?: 18 (Will be 27 if accepted)
What is your preferred subject to teach?: History

Describe your character:
Alyssa Everhart is a British woman who was born in England and didn't live there very long. She's a relatively shy but also kind person, who often perseveres to make sure that everyone is happy, even if it pushes her out of her comfort zone. She has a soft spot for children, adoring the way they talk and see the world. All they see in her eyes are sunshine and rainbows despite all the evil things happening, and she wants to make that last as long as she can. She is also fairly sensitive to loud noises but only if she doesn't expect them. In a class, she always expects them and so is always barely phased when they actually pop up. Outside of class, she's easily frightened.

To sum it up, Alyssa is:
Kind but shy, easily frightened and has a soft spot for children.

Roleplay Scenarios

A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
Alyssa would calmly and gently help the student, trying to dumb it down for them, intentionally making it seem like it's a very difficult task, EVEN if it's as simple as 1 + 1. If the student still doesn't get it, she'd tell them she's willing to help them after class one on one for up to 30 minutes, and if they still don't get it, she'd look into making it more simple next time.

A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
She would give numerous warnings, up to five to said student and all parties involved before eventually threatening detention on the fifth. If it continues, she would hand the student and all parties involved a detention slip (Only if they were all actively partaking the whole time) and kick them out of the class.

Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
Idea #1: Alyssa "Aly" I. Everhart (/me) would hold up a tub of candy, chocolate or skittles, exclaiming to the class "Whoever can tell me the exact duration of world war one, start to treaty, can choose THREE things they want from this tub!" She would smile, knowing this would make everyone wake up slightly.

Idea #2: Alyssa "Aly" I. Everhart (/me) is actively sat on the floor near the receptionist desk, watching over students. She would be sat down purely because her heels are fairly uncomfortable, plus it lets her watch closer for anyone muttering something, able to actually tell what they say as she can read lips.
