Warnings/Kicks/Bans:
Flooding IC chat: I was explaining a long story to someone and didn't realize how long the paragraph was.
Drama in OOC: Another player was making sexist remarks about blonde women, so I tried to explain how rude it was of him to say those things. I wasn't trying to be rude, but I reckon it came across that way. I was kicked for this reason.
Flooding OOC: I was warned for this because of the previous explanation.
Metabaiting: I had no clue what meta baiting was and I had read the rules but had just come back from a very long break.
Metagame: I had meant to say this over the phone, but accidentally clicked my arrow button on my keyboard.
Metagame: I was new to the server, like had literally just spawned in and hadn't read the rules.
AvoidRP: I was being attacked, but then had gotten sick in real life and had no time to explain in /looc as to why I had to leave so suddenly.
Shop Application Advertisement: I had linked this application for my friend to proof-read earlier today because I wanted a second pair of eyes and I had not realized that it would be considered advertisement. This is the first warning I've had in quite a while and while I do know that this is a poor example of a shop applicant, if I am given this chance it would be incredibly amazing. I promise it will not happen again.
I know that you did not ask for explanations to our warns/kicks, but I feel as though a lot of these could have been easily resolved and I do not want you to get the wrong impression of me.
Why do you want to own a shop?
I would love to own a shop for many reasons. When I first joined the server half a year ago, it was so much fun being seventeen when I got there because it was the age everyone else was. But now, it's boring and nothing is ever happening. I would join college, but seeing as I don't and can't have Discord, it would be extremely hard to balance it. I feel as though if I open a shop, playing on the server might be much more fun for me, although I am extremely active on the server.
I also want to open myself up to the community and get to know people more. I only know a few people on the server and only talk to them. If I open a shop, people would possibly come and I could meet them and become closer to them. There are so many different people on the server and I feel like I only know a very tiny fraction of them.
I want to have a place for people to connect and communicate other than around the 11-7 on the server. I notice that is where most people spend their time whenever they're online, and it isn't ideal because people can get bored just hanging around the gas station. Also, if you are in a large group and a cop is conveniently online, you can get in trouble for loitering.
I would love to own a shop in real life as well, but at the moment, it's not possible. I've always been told I would be great at owning a shop because of how independent I am, which is true. I am very independent for my age and mature as well. I know that opening a shop on School RP would give me a chance to know what it's like to own a shop and do supply, inventory, balancing out the needs and wants, and help me get to know different things about business. I know that it wouldn't be exactly the same, but it would be amazing just to see how it all works.
What do you plan to do with the shop?
I wouldn't plan on changing much, but seeing as I have never been inside the restaurant, I don't know how much I would change.
I do realize that the application rules say, "If the shop says, 'Cafe' on the roster, you are to apply for a cafe and not a disco strip club extravaganza", and Shop Four does say restaurant and I am making it out to be a restaurant-lounge-bar, but there are already a lot of restaurants on the server and I would like to make my shop as unique as possible.
If attainable, I would like to add a rooftop with a bar area, make the first floor a casual dining area, and the second floor (assuming it is multiple stories) would consist of a lounge area where people can just chill with their friends. I know that I would change the name to The Rooftop for obvious reasons. I also may want to renovate inside and add one or two party rooms or private rooms. Also, I would like an area in the building just for eighteen and up, so that they can be with people of their age if they desire.
I know that it doesn't sound like much right now, but I promise that it will be amazing if I ever get the chance to own it.
How do you plan to make your shop unique?
The Rooftop would be unique because it would be a bar, lounge, and restaurant altogether. It would also be a place where people of all ages can get together and meet each other. It will be a place where people can come and enjoy themselves without the judgment of other people.
The Rooftop would also offer many contests where people can win money, free prizes, and more. I would make my shop a place where anyone can hang out without having to pay so much money, whereas other clubs charge a door fee of high prices.
The Rooftop would also be open at least once a day and once a night unless something comes up and I cannot open. I know that there are places on the server with such qualities, but I know that I can make The Rooftop much more by having a three-in-one restaurant.
How many employees do you plan to have?
I would plan to have seven bartenders in case someone cannot be at work or does not show up. I would have five people in security, but only when the bar is open, which would be often and for the same reason, in case employees cannot make it to work. Eight waiters or waitresses, possibly more. There would also be three event hosts or hostess. Also, obviously delivery would be an important asset. Furthermore, there would be six chefs. I would also have five hosts or hostess so that people can have shifts. Everyone will be trained for any and every necessary situation possible. So, in total, my shop would have twenty-nine employees total.
