Animal Rule Suggestion

Adding a rule that's against harming, abusing or killing animals

HOW WILL THIS BENEFIT THE SERVER/COMMUNITY?:
I have a friend who had tons of cat characters that ended up being abused or killed, one cat character of theirs were killed by a gang to "break her owner", and my friend's dog character was once chased by a gang member who was trying to choke the dog to death with a chain, and that's only my friends, I know there are other people who had their animal characters killed.
I feel as if the people with animal characters like cats, dogs and birds paid 15 dollars just to get harmed or killed and have to make new characters just for it to happen again. So by adding a rule that goes against doing those things might let the people with animal whitelist to finally not make multiple characters because they were killed.
The punishment for breaking the rule could be a simple warning to a 2 day ban.​

While yes a lot of failrp happens against animals, people trying to kill them off all the time, they are still characters. If you gain kps on a dog, you're perfectly capable of using it.

Reasonable suggestion. Killing animals is not cool in general, and technically they are real players who don't want to get killed in game ._.

Rules still apply to animals, if your char gets kps on it then... oops..? Its a real thing that happens yes people failrp a lot with animals, if that is happening then report it. Do remember that all rules still apply to animals. Yeah its sad when an animal is killed or abused but.. it happens and its allowed to happen.

Animals should be effected by the rules just as much as anyone else. You can gain KPS on people and they can gain it on you. It's just how it is.
There are plenty of options for you to avoid these situations. I used to play a dog for a long time, I also have a rat and a fox character.

*Note: your teeth are considered a weapon. Using them in combat is considered KPS.

Just don’t get adopted by someone who does crime ICly or attack anybody yourself, then you won’t have people with perms on you. If the person who adopted you is doing actions that may put them or you at risk is your friend then ask them to not involve you in it if you don’t want to have your character killed.

as a lot have said before, rules should apply to animals as much as any body and having them be void to those rules would be unfair.

I talked with the person who did it actually once before in a voice chat. They were a real piece of work. They said they hate animals and a bunch of other stuff that I will not mention. Generally speaking, they were an awful person.

Most reasoning for killing animals on srp isn't that great but if you manage to have someone get kps on your character for a valuable reason: you just have to own up to it regardless of who or what your character is. But the only gangrp done on animals (that I've heard of) is quite pointless and just for the factor of gangrp as per most of gangrp but really guys, animals??

Depends on situation, just don't be adopted by gangrpers, but overall I'd get what you mean by for no reason sometimes. I feel like animals should also fall into the rules but rules should state certain things more out to animal players/people who will failrp or attempt to attack the animal for no reason

It might be slightly different in SRP- anyways, I never crossed with an animal but like seems, for a roleplay and in a roleplay only, it'd be okay to beef an animal.. this doesn't really make sense, because the same way we are all real players, our human characters can still be killed if someone gains kps on them, right?
no one wants to be killed in-game but it still happens, anyways

i hate that animals get killed, but its kinda their fault if they do something which makes the other party gain kps on them so -1

Perms work on animals in the same way they do in humans, the way i see how SRP rules work is that you really have to put EFFORT into being killed if you're giving away KPS, it is not simple to gain KPS on someone, the person has to be doing combatrp/criminalrp or just something you wouldn't do if you couldn't risk yourself.
An animal has to go out of his way to attack someone in order to have KPS gained upon. Simply do not engage in those situations if you do not wish to lose your character.
Not to mention the fact that, if you're completely disallowed to harm animals, it's not only unrealistic, considering the amount of violence Karakura has, why would animals be an exception? But it would also allow people to abuse animal actions knowing it would have no consequences.

I'm still keeping mine as a -1 but I will point out when playing and animal it is easier to get KPS on you. If you bite or scratch that is KPS since those are considered weapon attacks.
