Anybody know the back story of the Radio Tower?

I really want to know if there's a back story to the Radio Tower, it looks so run down and abandon and would like to know why it looks like that. So if there's a story behind it tell me cause I bet i'm not the only one wondering the back story on such a run down place.

I believe the old map had a run down radio tower as well. I personally believe it is Duck's house and he just never cleans up.

But Ducks has a house. The Radio Tower probably closed down because people in Japan rarely listen to the radio. They're very technology based nowadays.
