Apartment questions

How or where do I get furniture? I tried doing '/apartment shop but it just gave me commands for apartments. Also, how do I get signs? (to lock my chests)

you have to build it all yourself!

after going into /apartment editmode you have most/all of creative to use, so you can customise your own apartment, so you can also get the signs, and make sure to rightclick the chest with a sign to claim it as yours
