I’m extremely active on this server, I’ve been on constantly every week. Especially since I’m in a sports faction, I have reasons to get on daily, but I also do just love getting on to walk around and roleplay with anyone if given the chance. There’s also a lot I do outside of being in the server related to SRP, like fanart, character renders, band planning, etc!

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
I’ve had my fair share of roleplaying in different ways. When I was younger, I had a lot of fun doing medieval roleplay on a separate Minecraft server that I’ve long forgotten. I was active there a lot, engaging in fantasy situations with knights and fictional races, such as fairies and dwarves. There’s also the fact that I used to engage in D&D campaigns a lot. I know some people don’t really consider it roleplay, but I find the game to be a mix of roleplay and strategy, so I count it here.
I’ve had a lot to go through on SRP. I started off doing a lot of family roleplay with a group of friends I had. It wasn’t anything crazy, but it was fun running around and roleplaying in that instance. Things changed when I started moving more into SRP, and my friends and I began GangRP-ing. It was fun getting into it all, but we left not long after, and I moved into more factions!
My first one, being a reporter, was really fun; I did a lot of talking to people around SRP for interviews and general ‘talks’. Then I was accepted into ‘Teacher’, which was scary at first, but after being in the faction for a little while, it was good to have people giving me advice and backing me up. Currently, the latest experience I have is with JockRP. Getting accepted into Volleyball has had me go through so much more roleplay than I expected. Getting into rivalries, team-bonding, and even performing in bands on stage, there’s always a lot to experience.
What is your motivation for applying?
I’ve always wanted to be a part of EMS, a lot of it stemming from how fun it looked to detailRP during procedures from when I had to go through with them. I’m always looking for more ways to place myself into roleplay and I know EMS is one of them. So not only is it a big interest of mine, but it’d help me find more ways to interact with everyone more.
Which role are you applying for?
I’m applying for the doctor role!
What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
I know a bit of the roles within the factions because I’ve seen them and heard about what they do.
Doctor:
I know doctors do exactly what you’d expect of them. Work on patients, help with procedures, and take care of serious injuries that need intense medical attention.
Psychiatrist:
After that is psychiatrist, the role that does therapy for those whose characters need it in SRP.
Paramedic:
Another role I know of is the paramedic role, people who can leave the hospital on patrols and do important duties that have to deal with outside the hospital that normal doctors can’t do. They also have a combined responsibility of both doctor and psychiatrist, dealing with both injury and therapy if needed.
Hospital Director:
The last role I’m aware of is the Hospital Director, the lead of the faction. The person who looks over all and every member whether it be paramedic, doctor, or psychiatrist.

SECTION 1: PERSONAL DETAILS
Character’s Full Name:
The lids of the man’s eyes would curve as the corners of his mouth reached up into a smile. His face gave way to reveal that bright smile he held underneath.
“Heya, name’s Isidro, Isidro Baquiran. Nice ta meet’cha.”
Character’s Gender and Pronouns:
The stature of the man shifting into a light-hearted manner. Isidro looked to the side as he chuckled a little, raising his hand to itch the side of his neck.
“Ahh, my gender is male ‘nd I go by he/him. You’d be surprised by tha’ times people done called me a lady. The long hair, soft features, ‘nd whatnot.”
Character’s Age (if accepted):
The man would reach into his pocket and check his phone, looking at the… lock screen? His eyes scanning the date.
“Well, I’ve been in the town fer some time now ‘nd my birthdays done passed a couple of times so… I’m 28 years old, turnin’ 29 in November!”
Character’s Academic Background:
A sudden shift in his aura, the man looking up as if searching for the answers in the air. His eyes scattered before finally returning back to the speaker.
“Uh.. well, let’s see. I graduated from mah high school back ‘n the Philippines when I was just a youngin’. I was movin’ straight into college, made use of mah time ‘nd did a ton of work gettin’ my certification as a nurse assistance ‘nd ended up with a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine before I moved here after.”
Character’s Nationality:
Isidro’s face lightened, his eyes wide as his smile came back just as fast as you could imagine.
“Born ‘nd raised in the Philippines! Full blooded Filipino right ‘ere!”
Character’s Marital Status:
Another cheeky glance away as Baquiran giggled a bit at the question.
“Not married… YET, er, welluh-! I got the sheep on tha’ farm, I just need ta herd ‘em in.”
Character’s Religious Denomination:
Isidro would shrug a bit as he let the word fall from his mouth.
“I thought about this a lot, lookin’ at stars ‘nd the world out there gets ya thinkin’ a ton. But I’d like to think that we’re all we got ‘round here. So, I just stick with believin’ in us humans. Is there a word fer that?”
Character’s Spoken Languages:
The man would nod to the side as he shrugged once again.
“Nothin’ much ta me, just Japanese ‘nd Tagalog- Er, Filipino.”
Character Backstory:
Isidro Baquiran was born and raised in the Ilocos Region of the Philippines. Growing up in the countryside, the kid was raised by his parents to do one thing: farm. Large and long fields of rice were scattered across the Baquiran’s property, alongside the numerous animals that the family took care of. Cattle, chickens, pigs, horses, the likes. For a short while, that was all Baquiran grew into. He loved working alongside his family and believed that he was meant to stay in Ilocos and carry on the tradition that the family had easily set out for him. It wasn’t until the kid grew into his teens that he’d soon find other passions that’d slowly start to take him over.
The paper was a notable part of his search for a purpose, falling in love with writing and the news. However, a love for animals soon grew inside him, turning into an interest in medical work for animals. Isidro, with the help of his loving parents, sought out and took opportunities to become an assistant to a vet clinic, eventually branching out his love for care into more than just animals. After spending years in college through his multiple interests, the man would graduate with his degrees and seek out job opportunities at any chance he could get. After reaching out for a job offer from Karakura, the move was in action. The man was excited and ready to take on the new world as it faced him.
SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical specialty? Why did they choose this focus?
Coming from a rural place in the Philippines, Isidro stuck to what he felt like made most sense. Though he never expected to hold a scalpel to skin, he found a love for observing and finding solutions. Specializing in Internal Medicine, Baquiran assisted many of his family members and co-workers when they came to his side for help. Studying into the body, ailments that’d affect the system, and procedures/treatments for said issues, Isidro grew efficient when listening and diagnosing those who sought out his advice.
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
Isidro had many paths that he took in his journey thus far. In his early years, starting off as a veterinarian assistant, Baquiran found a new form of love in treatment towards living beings. Being raised on a farm, the man wasn’t shy to show off his care for the animals introduced around him. Eventually, this love grew farther than just animals. With the ability to observe, diagnose, and treat, Isidro wanted to take things a step further and move into the medical field.
Though he had a few years going back and forth between his interests, Isidro did the most to get the best he could to pursue the things he loved. During his time in college, Isidro worked to become an approved CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant). Gaining some work experience through both in-house and outside situations.
SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?
Isidro is as far away from intimidating as you can get. A bright smile, long blonde waves that swayed as he moved, and sage green eyes that almost appeared as aloof as his nature. Standing at 5’6”, the man with bronze skin and soft features would walk through. And if going by appearances wasn't enough, the look and feel of a farmer never left him. A twang in his voice and volume loud enough to fill the room, it wouldn’t be hard for others to believe he stuck out as a hayseed among urbanites.
How does your character act around the hospital?
Hanging around the front, Isidro would be seen learning on the hospital walls as he would be chatting it up with anyone who’d listen. Co-workers, patients, or any passerby alike, the man would be itching for a talk as he waited for anyone else to come by. A man who seems happy just to be there at all.
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
Cooperation isn’t an issue for Isidro, after all, the man likes to talk and interact with the people around him. Though, it isn’t lost on the man that his work should be a responsibility that stays to himself. He enjoys taking the time to do his procedures on a one-on-one basis. Just him and the patient, making it clear that he’d best function on his own if allowed, but never opposed to sharing the work if need be.
