Describe your activity as a player of the server:
I am a fairly active player on the server, with an open schedule due to taking a break from school, allowing me to dedicate a significant amount of time to SRP. My current playtime is around 15 weeks, and I am frequently online, both during the day and into the late hours of the night. I'm also decently involved icly so that keeps me on, even more, being on a team and on EMS. Along with this, I've been on SRP since around the covid era and have been playing since with little breaks. This flexibility means I am almost always available to help out when needed, whether for events or in-game activities.. or just helping out with something. The only regular times that I'm unavailable are between 3-6 pm EST on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Sundays, due to my commitment to the IC Volleyball team. Even then, my availability outside of those hours is very consistent. I am always eager to participate in server activities and often hyperfocus on SRP, making sure I stay involved and actively contribute to the server community in any way I can.

What is your time zone?:
I’m currently in the EST time zone.

Are you aware that if you are inactive on the team you will be demoted?
Yes, I understand that if I am inactive on the team I will be demoted.

What is your motivation for joining the Event Team:
I want to join the Event Team because I love attending events, and over time, I've found myself brainstorming ideas in my free time- just kind of for fun. I often imagine different scenarios and themes, things that could become events and get everyone involved. I get a lot of satisfaction from the creativity of coming up with unique ideas, especially ones that can be shared and maybe bring something special. It's not just about coming up with an idea, but also envisioning how to play it out and how it could enhance the player experience and I think that's so fun. Being active on the server has given me a strong sense of what types of events the community enjoys and what might be missing from the current offerings. I've also been involved in several activities that have allowed me to see firsthand what works well and what could be improved. With my open schedule and dedication to the server, I feel I have the time and energy to not only contribute but to go above and beyond. I want to take my passion for these ideas and turn it into something tangible by organizing and helping to run events that players will enjoy and remember. The idea of putting my thoughts into action and working with a team to bring our ideas together and bring them to life excites me, and I'm eager to help create memorable and fun experiences with the community.

What makes you a suitable event team member:
I believe I'm a suitable candidate for the Event Team due to my combination of creativity, active involvement in the server, and natural ability to bring ideas to the table. I have an ongoing passion for brainstorming and conceptualizing ideas, just as I had said previously. This constant stream of ideas allows me to think outside of the box and come up with fresh, engaging concepts that could bring a unique flair to the server's events. I'm always considering how to create experiences that'll be fun and memorable, even if it's just with my friend right now. My extensive playtime and active participation across multiple factions have provided me with a broad understanding of the server's dynamics and player interests, making it easier for me to tailor events to different types of players and ensure that they're inclusive. I know what events players have enjoyed in the past and know the pros/cons of most. My involvement also means I'm constantly in tune with the server's current atmosphere and trends, allowing me to align my event ideas with what's popular or in demand at any given moment. In addition to my active skills, I am highly organized and capable of balancing multiple tasks at once. I understand that event planning involves careful coordination, preparation, and teamwork. I'm confident in my ability to manage these responsibilities, and I'm always willing to collaborate with other team members to ensure an event runs smoothly from start to finish. Being someone who enjoys working with others to achieve a common goal, I know how to communicate effectively, and maturely, and contribute to a positive, productive environment. Finally, my open schedule, due to my break from school, allows me to dedicate the time needed to help with planning, coordination, and execution. I'm available to pitch in whenever necessary and am flexible in taking on different roles. Whether it's brainstorming ideas, helping with event setup, or helping run the event itself, I'm fully committed to giving my best. Above all, my genuine enthusiasm, for making the server a more enjoyable place for the community drives me to put int he effort needed to ensure the events are not only fun but also well-executed and memorable.

Please provide three detailed event suggestions that would work for our server:

Event one:

1. Basics

  • Disaster Type: Meteor Impact in Karakura!
  • Location: The event can focus on a dramatic meteor strike.. The impact zone could either be near spawn.. By the front gate (making it pretty easy to notice), or in the forest (offering more environmental effects, like damage to trees and camp areas).
  • Impact Zones: Multiple impact sites could be made, creating craters that cause destruction around the map. These could feature debris, burnt land, or scorched trees for a more dramatic effect.

2. Goals

  • Community Engagement: This is the core goal! Engage players in a high-intensity, roleplay-based event that can stir interest and create a shared experience.
    • Player Interaction: Players can explore the crash site, investigate the meteor’s origin, and help handle the aftermath maybe?
    • Narrative Building: The event opens up opportunities for bigger storylines, like getting the government faction involved.. Or maybe KPD and EMS.

3. Preparation

  • Build Changes:
    • Crater Creation: Create deep, wide craters where the meteors hit. Add fire particles or smoke maybee.. To simulate heat radiating from the crash?
    • Environmental Damage: If the impact is in the forest, trees could be burned or destroyed, and nearby buildings may have broken windows, cracks in the structure, or fire damage.
    • Debris: Scatter chunks of meteor rock, scorched earth, and smoke plumes around the craters, making the area look abandoned and dangerous!
  • Atmospheric Effects:
    • Blindness: Temporarily give players blindness for a minute after the meteor strikes, showing the shockwave or blast.
    • Nausea/Poison: Introduce nausea or poison effects for players who get too close to the craters, representing toxic gasses that could be coming from the wreckage.
  • ‘NPC’s/Faction Involvement:
    • Staff members and event team, could have ‘Scientist’ skins and surround the craters as if they are inspected them. Along with this, they could guide players to ‘safer’ areas or things like that. Again, to increase the engagement.
    • Reporters can get in on this event as well, annnnnnnnd/or, a mayor/governor could make a speech at city hall about it?

4. Timeline

  • Before the Event:
    • Drop small roleplay hints around the server before the event happens.. Maybe NPCS or event members dressed up could be at specific locations mentioning strange celestial activity or meteor sightings in the sky..
    • In-character news reports or rumors could circulate, creating tension and build-up.
    • Unusual weather patterns or more lightning than usual could be used to show the meteor’s impending crash..
  • During the Event:
    • Dramatic Meteor Strike: Begin the event with a dramatic announcement about a fireball/meteor streaking across the sky.. Followed by a loud explosion that shakes Karakura or a shockwave that triggers blindness as I said before.. Maybe some Sirens or announcements around the town. Make sure the players are encouraged to investigate and explore the crater!
  • After the Event:
    • Announce any sort of consequences of the event, for example, if we do it in the forest, we can have the crater stay for a few weeks. We could slowly start filling it back up and have some sort of notice about how it was being dealt with. This could even get the government faction involved, having a Mayor/governor speak publicly on the matter at the Town Hall.

Event Two:

1. Basics

  • Disaster Type: A gas leak in one of the school’s science classrooms caused an immediate threat..
  • Location: Karakura HS and College.
  • Incident: A malfunctioning science experiment or equipment failure results in a dangerous gas leak within the classroom. The gas starts to spread quickly, causing the room and school to become hazardous. Students and staff within must quickly evacuate..

2. Goals

  • Evacuate the building: All players must follow safety procedures and evacuate safely.
  • Medical Assistance: Get EMS involved with players by having them go to EMS to get tested to make sure the gas didn’t get them or something similar to that.. Obviously, no one would ‘die’, but it would be a good roleplay experience and it would connect some factions.
  • Investigate the Cause(?): Players may need to investigate the cause of the gas leak?? From a faulty experiment to sabotage orrrrrrrr just poor maintenance?!

3. Preparation

  • Build Changes:
    • Use WorldEdit or manually create damage to the science classroom, broken equipment, and smoke particles around the area.
    • Maybe have some sort of area at EMS for people or have a booth/something like that outside of the school of psychs for emotional support for those who had to run out?
  • Roles and Teams:
    • Have staff/event team members in hazard suits, telling people to evacuate and such to look as though they are dealing with the leak?
    • KPD outside the school to make sure people dont go back in or something similar?? Or that’s something people in hazard suits could do as well.
    • As I said before, EMS handles medical emergencies from it, people who inhaled gas or had minor injuries or just checks to make sure nothing is wrong with students/faculty.

4. Mechanics

  • Triggering the Event:
    • Gas Leak Announcement: The event can be triggered by an unexpected incident, again, the gas leak begins slowly, causing increased effects (nausea, blindness, slowness?) as it spreads throughout the building.
    • Evacuation Order: A loud alarm or a broadcast from the school ordering an immediate evacuation and ordering a visit to EMS to make sure nothing was inhaled..
    • Contaminated Zones: Use poison or blindness effects to show exposure to the gas.
  • Additional Hazards:
    • Evacuation Routes Blocked(?): Some hallways or exits might be blocked by debris or gas clouds, forcing players to find other routes out.

5. Post-Event

Recovery events(?): Host a school-wide event where students can volunteer to help with cleanup or assist those affected…. This could lead to ongoing roleplaying where students and staff can engage together to repair the school?
Event Three:

1. Event:

  1. Opening Ceremony:
    • Grand Entrance: As the event starts, players can gather on the beach by large spring-themed decorations like beach balls, banners, and floating lanterns.
    • Welcome Speech: The Mayor/Governer (perhaps dressed in beach attire) can provide a welcoming speech to explain the activities and invite everyone to start enjoying the beach.
    • Music: Light beach tunes or upbeat spring music can play in the background to set the mood.
  2. Movie Night on the Big Screen:
    • Big Screen Setup: Set up a huge outdoor screen by the beach... The screen will "display" a fun family-friendly movie like a classic well-known movie or beach-themed movie.
    • Cozy Seating: Surround the area with beach chairs and blankets, creating a relaxed movie-watching atmosphere…. And for people to interact and have roleplay experiences.
  3. Activities:
    • Dolphin Watching: Arrange a dolphin tour(?) (with a staff member leading players on a boat trip or swim out to a designated area) to spot dolphins swimming around them or in the distance. Players can even swim with the dolphins, maybe?
    • Beach Games:
      • Volleyball: Include a cute spring-themed walkway to the courts, maybe even add an extra court somewhere so people can play.
      • Scavenger Hunt or Wipeout again(?): Prepare a beach-themed scavenger hunt with hidden items scattered along the shore. Give players clues to find seashells, hidden treasures, or collectible tokens. OR! We could set up some sort of wipeout again, or obstacle course to do.
  4. SHOPS:
    • Snack Stall: Place shop stall on the beach with tropical-themed snacks like:
      • Coconut drinks .. Maybe the alcoholic one as well for those who are the correct age?
      • Ice cream cones
      • Hot dogs, burgers, and etc.
      • Pineapples, watermelon
    • Other Shop Stalls: Maybe one or two others.. The shops can decide who wants to come and what they want to sell.
  5. Beach Sleepover Area:
    • Cozy Beds: Set up a sleepover area by the beach with blankets and beds where players can lay down and "sleep" under the stars. They can roleplay, talk, or just relax as part of the sleepover vibe.
    • Provide pajama skins for those who want to fully engage.

2. Preparation

  • Build Changes:
    • Beach Setup: Prepare the beach area with blankets, bonfires, and sand dunes-like things for decoration.. As well as other spring decorations and stuff!
    • Stalls Setup: Create market stalls offering food and then the stalls for the shops that choose to be a part of the event.
    • Movie Screen Area: Build a movie screen with enough seating for the expected crowd.

3. After the Event

  • Event Wrap-Up: As the event nears its end, gather everyone for a final farewell.
    • Host a thank you speech for attending, hinting at future events or spring/summer fun.
    • Players who attended the event could receive special event rewards or unique items that commemorate the Spring Sleepover.

4. Post-Event Fun

  • Ongoing Activities:
    • The beach area could remain open for a period after the event for ongoing roleplay, beach games, or relaxation.
    • You could even repeat smaller activities like scavenger hunts or volleyball games for latecomers.

Additional notes:
I wasn't entirely sure HOW detailed the events needed to be, so I provided an outline for them .. hope that's alright! Thank you for reading though!! <3
