WHAT YOU WANT TO SUGGEST OR MENTION: I want to suggest that ballistic masks won't be tkane by police department form character with a crimminal record
HOW WILL THIS BENEFIT THE SERVER/COMMUNITY?: I believe that since the ability to attack with a ballistic facemask was removed, it shouldn't be taken by kpd. It is no longer a blunt weapon and it is just a defence item. It cannot be considered dangerous anymore therefore police taking it away is a bit meaningless. It cant cause any damage and can only be used for protection purposes against crimminals. And because ballistic mask is the most important mask and maybe even item in gangrp, i think it would be better if it cant be taken away

When being pat down while having a ballistic on, it's known for KPD to ask for an ID to check your record - If you have a felony on the current character you're playing on, it'll result in a fine and mask confiscation.

As it's not considered 'dangerous anymore' it still has a few other criminal purposes. Though I do understand the purpose of the suggestion since it doesn't have that much stats as it used to. So I'm a bit neutral on this, maybe it can only be a fine instead of a confiscation.

To also simply avoid the felonies being seen, you can use a fake ID!! :3

You can simply use a Fake I.D to bypass this. Besides, ballistic masks have bullet-proof stats, making it one of the few items destined to counter kpd glocks

I also recommend these law changes to be done ICly by bringing it up to a government worker

tws but they arent a threat even on the hands of a crimminal, a law shouldnt be made so that cops can shot people on the face easily. Its an item that can protect from any kind of attack and it isnt a threat anymore as it cant be used as a weapon

What would happen if I wore ballistic masks as full body armor

Needs to be an ICLY law change if you want it changed first of all, second if all they're bullet proof, making them protection against Glocks which I don't think KPD ICLY would want (also infi has made me want to action to strap a bunch of ballis over my chars legs and arms to make them just bullet proof)

Just use a Fake ID; the mask can still be used with criminal intention even without the headbutt stats

Largely because of what everyone else has said. Yes, they aren't weapons anymore.. however with guns only being used by cops as far as anyone is aware (ICly) a bullet-proof mask being worn by someone with a criminal record would be a large "red flag" (For lack of better words.)

I see your point; however, if you have committed a felony ICly, such as assault with a weapon, they have probable cause to take anything that can conceal your identity if you plan to do it again. Additionally, they confiscate ballistic masks because they counter the Glock, making them think you may use it against them.

Of course, this is just my opinion. I may be wrong on some points because I am not 100% familiar with the reasons to confiscate a mask if someone has a criminal record.

This suggestion is essentially, and do correct me if I'm reading this the wrong way, "Due to meta (non-RP) circumstances, this item, which is known to be restricted to high-level gang members by those acquainted with the criminal world, should no longer be confiscated upon body search with reason by a police officer while having a criminal record, thereby making committing crimes repeatedly be easier."

I don't think I need to explain the reasons why this will not fly OOCly, there's no need to beat a dead horse, a lot of people before me already have thought up things and put them better than I would. Instead, I will dedicate this post to why this wouldn't fly IC-ly, either.

You bring up the point of Ballistic Masks being an item used for defence purposes only now. Still, it should be noted that the Karakuran Constitution, as it stands right now, gives no right for major defensive measures against harm to all Karakurans. In case you do decide to petition for an amendment for this specific piece of armour, all a lawyer representing the KPD has to do to throw your entire case in the bin is to begin listing the countless criminal cases where Ballistic Masks (in your own words -- the most important item in GangRP) were used.

Treatment? Invest in a Fake ID, be smarter about committing crimes or don't grow too attached to a hunk of scrap on your character's face.

This is just…. Not need as you know when u do a crime ur doing it at a risk there is no point in complaining over a ballistic when you’ve understood your risk.
