[DENIED] Shrine Application

Describe your activity on the server:
It can be inconsistent, some days I'm on for like 10, 12 hours maybe more, some weeks I'm on everyday, but it just depends on how I feel, and how much is going on with my characters, I’ve been a little more inactive recently, playing other games as there has not been much going on with my characters, but I still try to hop on and check what's going on every now and then. My usual times that I’m online depends on how busy I am. For summer, I'm usually available from 8-12am(depends when I wake up) and I usually try not to schedule anything past 10pm so that I'd be able to get off at that time but I am often on after that time and for events and such can get on later (assuming I don't fall asleep)
1785277150077.png

What is your motivation for applying?:
I’ve played for awhile, but I haven't done any RP in a faction apart from sports at all, I’ve done a little gangRP but not a whole lot, and I want a new experience, something else I can do to make me want to get on more and play more, for there to be something to do. I thought making a character for KPD would be very fun and I had a character idea I wanted to try. I would love to be able to do something new and to meet more people.

What knowledge do you have of Police Work?
My Knowledge is pretty limited, I have done some research into it, looking at the official equipment and information. I can remember a decent amount of the equipment by heart and plan on learning it better, especially the rules that I can not always remember exactly.
I have done read about the items they carry (ItemRP and not) such as Handcuffs for arresting criminals, a radio to communicate with emergency units, the taser with 2 shots to help to prevent suspects from fleeing, breathalyzer and pepper spray both of(which I have never seen used In game) the tranquilizer for Police Sergeants and Detective Inspectors which I have seen used against bears in case of them being a threat to people, a riot shield which i have not seen used often but would be useful for protection in certain scenarios, a gas mask to be used in certain scenarios such as in case of a fire to protect from smoke and a crowbar for Police Corporals to open doors and containers for raiding properties. Additionally there would be the ItemRP equipment, luminol spray, latex gloves, fingerprint scanner, first aid kit and body camera.
I also know of the rules

Why is Police important to SchoolRP?
They are incredibly important in multiple factors, being central to how the server operates. This includes:
CrimeRP/GangRP
Police are essential to maintaining the balance of the crime world of Karakura, as they prevent it from getting out of control, they pose a risk outside of other gangs, risking loss of characters and weapons due to being arrested and posing a threat due to the equipment and training that the police get. They are essential to ensure that gangRP does not get too out of control and ensure a reasonable amount of constant pressure on the gangs through patrols and answering 110 calls. Also, by arresting criminals, this gives permissions which is another thing for gangs/criminals to do, to hunt down their arresting officers for revenge, allowing for character building and overall a good bit of fun for the people involved.
Events
The police are essential in many events, helping to keep the peace and keep people relatively under control, putting out fires in case of any (though I don’t see fire extinguishers in the equipment list) and helping to rescue people, working with the hospital staff to help save lives such from things such as injuries from fires, natural incidents such as earthquakes. The police are essential in these events for the atmosphere, for keeping people under control and for helping in rescue efforts. The police are essential to help out in many of these events.

Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are needed to attend or you will be punished?
Yes I understand and plan on attending all of the training that I can.

In-Character (IC) Section

OBJECTIVE: Bring Order to Chaos

What's your character's full name?:
Yuèqín Tántá

“Yuèqín Tántá, nice to meet you.” She stated simply, her blank expression not faltering.

How old is your character (if accepted)?:
27

“I am twenty-seven years of age.” She again stated simply, her expression again remaining the same and her tone calm.

What are your character's gender and pronouns?:
Female she/her

“Female. She/her is fine.” She again stated simply, the simplicity of her answers and her unchanging already becoming expected.

Please select your highest academic role at the time of writing this application:
(Grade-12/Bachelors/Masters/PhD):

Bachelors - Physical Training

“I got a Bachelors in Physical Training at Beijing Sport University.” She started in the same tone as before, but at least this time her face showed the twitch of a smile at the memory of her college days.

What languages does your character know besides Japanese?:
Chinese and Korean (I’d need to re-apply for the character)

“I am able to speak Chinese, Korean and Japanese all fluently.” She stated in, you guessed it, a plain, calm tone with a blank expression.

Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?
Yuèqín Tántá; a 5’10, 176LBS Chinese woman with a blank face, almost void of emotion at times and a head full of long, slightly messy purple hair. When she spoke her voice sounded rough and slightly hoarse, heard more when she was yelling and she often spoke calmly and casually, enough to seem like a friendly person if not for her blank face. Her eyes sometimes seemed to dart around taking in all the details that she could, as if trying to memorize the layout of her area. Her build was muscular, but not over the top, clearly taken care of, and covering her left arm, a tattoo of many rose thorn vines, and on those vines, in small groups, a total of twenty three red roses and two small blue roses.

“Describe myself?” Her eyebrows raised slightly as she spoke in a thoughtful tone followed by them furrowing slightly as she was in thought. Her blank expression returned as she began talking again “I am Chinese, 5 foot 10 and about 175 pounds. I have purple hair due to experimenting with it during my time in hospital not long ago, I try to keep it neat but it can get a little scruffy at times.” Her eyebrows furrowed again as she went back into thought, after a moment, one eyebrow rose as she spoke, “And as for being Unique.” Her blank expression again returns. “My tattoo could be considered unique I suppose.”

How does your character act in a professional/casual situation?
In both casual and professional situations, she tries to remain respectful but also casual, finding maintaining close, respectful relationships with co-workers, friends, family and the general public important to remaining safe. Believing that being close to people is necessary for them to help when in need, whether that be civilians calling 110 when she is unable to radio for backup, or co-workers stepping up to help her out when in need. She believes she knows people and finding people to trust is incredibly important.

“In all situations I believe that it is important to remain respectful but also speak in a way to be able to get along with whoever you’re talking to. This means that I wouldn’t separate the way I speak in just two categories of professional and casual… but it depends on the person, a higher up may prefer I speak to them more professionally and I’d be happy to do so, but some may also prefer I speak more casually to them to be able to get along better.” She rambled on a little bit, seemed to show somewhat of an interest in the questions before seeming to realize how much she had been speaking, “Sorry…” She glanced to the side and bit her lip, a little embarrassed.

What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork?
She believes that co-workers are a lifeline and teamwork is essential for safety and survival in situations where people pose risks to others. She believes that she should be able to rely on both herself and her co-workers to be able to keep her and others safe.

“Co-workers in this line of work can be the difference between life and death, it is important to be able to get along with them well and be able to work together in a team to be quick while still keeping everyone safe.” She said in a tone a little more serious this time, but her face as blank as it was before.

What's your character's backstory?
Warning: this backstory includes violence, guns, shooting and death, if you do not wish to read any of these things I would not recommend reading past the paragraph starting with “Soon the summer came around” Furthermore, this backstory depicts SWAT work, it is likely not depicted entirely accurately due to my limited knowledge, meaning certain things may be wrong or exaggerated.

On just another warm day of 1999 march for anyone one else, Yuèqín Tántá started her story in Beijing, China, as an only child of her parents, Yuxan Tántá and Li-Mei Tántá. She was born into a loving family like many others, not poor, not rich, a very average life, her father a construction worker and her mother a police officer. Due to their work, her father often had to leave early in the morning to travel out and her mother was often out late patrolling the streets, this left Yuèqín often on her own, leaving her to do her own thing as a small child. She was a smart kid, learning to speak just about as fast as other children despite her parents often being out for work, though they did help her learn to the best of their abilities.

As Yuèqín grew and started school she soon began to notice her enjoyment and running around and physical activities, even finding it hard to sit still in a classroom. Despite this, she still did her best to pay attention in class, ensuring she would not fall behind her other classmates. She was not a loud kid, making some friends and sticking to them, not standing out in particular but not unknown to her classmates. She often enjoyed PE lessons, loving the chance to run around and get to play games and she often found herself annoyed at losing, being quite competitive and wanting to win against all her classmates. This drive to win led her to often go outside in her little free time when she wasn't studying, she constantly wanted to get better, become stronger, so she often went on runs outside despite still being a young child, starting this habit at just 7 years old.

At just 8 years old Yuèqín took an interest in learning a new language, to decide, she visited a library, looking through the books on different languages that they had, ultimately deciding on Korean. And so she began learning, alongside her usual studies and runs, she now used cooks from the library to learn Korean characters and how they came together to form words. Books alone were not enough for her to learn however, and so she began watching Korean TV, using the subtitles to learn how they pronounced the different characters and words. After some time of practicing her Korean with books and TV when she wasn't running around or studying for school, she also gained an interest in gaming, deciding on combining her fun on games such as COD and doom with her studies though using Korean language settings on these games, able to understand some things after having practiced for a year, though she would still often struggle to understand the meaning of each word.

One school day in 2009, on her birthday, a Friday like any other, for everyone else. Yuèqín had a class that just about everyone has had at some point, a class for looking at what children aspired to be, looking at future careers, something Yuèqín had never truly thought about until that day. The teacher went over many different career options, kids in his class all aspired to be many things, have many high paying jobs like doctors or lawyers, some even wanted to become celebrities. However, Yuèqín listened to the many different career paths that the teacher talked about, thinking about each one as she talked about them, thinking if it would really be what she wanted to do in the future. Once the teacher started to talk about the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, she took an interest, she knew that her mother was a police officer, and something about the idea of helping people and stopping criminals, just took her interest. The teacher went over multiple different career paths within the Beijing PSB, patrol officers, detectives but, what really took Yuèqín’s interest, the SWAT unit, a tactical unit which was explained to be one of the most well trained and best equipped special police teams throughout the entire country. The idea was planted in Yuèqín’s mind, she marveled at the officers, that the teacher showed as an example, she wanted to be one of them one day, this became her goal, a reason to keep up at keeping fit and she believed she would have to do even more to be. Despite having years until she would have to really consider it all, she began working out at just 10 years old with a goal to become strong, ready for the intense physical requirements she needed for her goal.

By 15 she was Fluent in both Chinese and Korean, able to speak Korean well enough to hold up in conversation, at least as far as she knew, she was the only person she knew that spoke Korean. This didn’t mean she would stop studying Korean, and she still learned Chinese at school, however, she wanted to try learning yet another language, and just like she did 7 years before, she visited a library looking over the different books on languages. This time she decided on learning Japanese, and already having learned Korean on her own, she knew what worked for her so, soon after she started using the books from the library to learn characters and used TV to properly understand the pronunciation and the grammar that the words were used in.

Yuèqín was now 18, near the end of her high school days, she stood at 5’9 and was in great physical shape, she had already applied and been accepted into Beijing Sport University for a bachelors in Physical Training, the next step on her journey, she had researched for the colleges that the Beijing special weapons and tactics unit recruited from, deciding on the Beijing Sport university as she enjoyed staying active, and love the idea of not having to sit down as much, getting time to be active in school as well. Eventually graduation came around, her grades were decent, nothing at the top, but nothing at the bottom either. Over the summer preparing for college, she made sure to keep up with her studying of Korean and Japanese, and ensured that she kept a balanced diet, and kept active, ready for college to come.

Eventually college came around, where she would now be for the next 4 years, working towards her bachelors, hoping to be able to go into Beijing SWAT training right after college. For this, she made sure her grades were high and that she remained physically fit, she knew she couldn’t get in by just being like everyone else, she was determined to do her best, to be strong and to stand out amongst others. Right from the start of her college days, there were frequent timed runs for her class, she often got the fastest or second fastest times, trading fastest for the class with another student. This continued on throughout her college life, the two kept track of the score, and she was most often ahead, however, in physical strength she was behind the other student, she knew this meant she had to try harder, the competitiveness inside her drove her to practice more, running, lifting weights, she just wanted to become stronger, faster and more resilient.

At 22, the end of her course was coming up, tensions high for finals, she was confident in her practical exams such as running, however, she was not sure on her written exams, she remembered the content, she was able to answer any questions in class, but something in her doubted in her ability to be able to complete the exam. Because of this, she spent a lot of her time just studying and practicing for the exams, wanting to make sure to be at the top of her class, to stand out among the others in her class. Before exams came around, she made sure to apply for Beijing SWAT training, hoping that her current good grades as well as a strong performance in her final exams could get her into the training which in itself was a selection. Once the time came to do her final exams, she was nervous but made sure to do her best, resulting in a good grade, near the top of her class. In the physical exams she stayed at the top for most of it, doing slightly worse than one other student in exams that required large physical strength.

Soon the summer came around and she was waiting for the results for her application, she was filled with nerves, but, even if she wasn't accepted she wouldn’t stop, not just because of being denied once, she would figure something else out, she had to. However, luckily she didn’t have to, she was accepted to have a test for the training, she had to prove her physical and mental health and she’d be allowed to join, but this was just the start, if she didn’t keep up, she’d be kicked out, they would be ruthless with kicking out anyone that didn’t meet standards and she knew that.

Yuèqín passed her physical and mental tests without any problem, in shape and mentally well. As the training started, it was harsh, being yelled at while doing physically demanding tasks, but she pushed through, she had to, to achieve her dream of becoming like those she had seen and heard about all those years ago. Here, she wasn't at the top of the class, she was surrounded by other people just as strong and fast, she wasn't doing the worst, but still faced criticism from her instructors as all those training did. Yuèqín managed to get through, day by day, certainly not the best person there, but she made sure to listen to the instructors, she made sure to push through everything so she could see her dream through.

Training was strict, harsh and demanding, even more so than Yuèqín expected, not even allowed a small smile in front of the instructors. Even so, the trainees looked out for each other, spent time together and got along well, so it was not all bad. Many people couldn't make it through the training, couldn't keep up with the intense physical demand. The training consisted of remaining presentable, learning tactics such as CQB, threat identification and de-escalation, intense physical training, running and constant other tests and shooting, expected to have an incredibly accurate aim to save civilians. Yuèqín pushed through the training, following instructions, not arguing back, standing still the told to, anything it took to make it to the end of training.

Eventually the time came around when, at 25, she was accepted into a team, she was excited, but the years of training told her to calm down and remain respectful. As she first met her team, she stood straight, saluted and introduced herself in a loud and serious tone, just as they spoke in training. For this introduction, she was quickly laughed at for being overly serious, apparently being common among new members straight out of training. To her surprise, the teams, or at least the team she was in, preferred to speak more casually to ensure better relations, believing by having better relations, their teamwork would be better and calls could be completed faster and safer. With some time she soon settled in with the team, to let her settle in, for the first week, the team often did patrols, escorts and where possible avoided calls involving shooting which were not all that common anyway.

However, soon enough she would have to respond to one of those calls, it was inevitable given her job. The call came in, a reported shooter in an office, Yuèqín was given the role of rear guard, to watch the backs of the team in case they were flanked by any suspects. The operation was long due to the size of the building, but eventually they found the suspect, who quickly surrendered, the suspect was taken into custody and two civilians that were injured got medical attention once the scene was cleared for paramedics. It was a simple first shooting call, at least about as simple as one got, not one that she would remember as anything other than nerve racking and anti-climatic.

Throughout Yuèqín’s career she dealt with many more of these calls, often ending without shooting. Although, that was not always the case and sometimes suspects were not co-operative meaning that her team members had to sometimes shoot these non-compliant suspects. The first time she shot and injured a suspect herself, she was of course shocked, but training had prepared her and she filled out her report as normal, describing what had happened, how they were a threat and what she was aiming for. Still the reality of it still made her worry, she made sure to check on the suspect she had fired upon, ensuring she did not kill him, hoping that she did not, in which she learned the suspect had survived, filling her with relief.

However the day in which she would shoot and kill a suspect was inevitable given her line of work, and that day soon did come. About a month and a half after joining her team, in an operation where a suspect with a knife had rushed at her, she opened fire, hitting the suspect, who ultimately did not survive. Her teammates who had been through the experience previously helped her through it how they could, though just letting go seemed to be something she struggled at. In the end she was advised to do something in memory of those killed, as a way to let go of feeling guilt for their deaths. She decided on something that would not vanish, to show that the lives of those killed would not come back, she decided on a tattoo, rose vines from her wrist to her shoulder and one red rose.

Her career was filled with many deaths, by the time she was 27, she had shot and killed twenty three suspects, and on her arm for each of them, a red rose, the older ones showing more fading. Suspects were not the only ones killed, she had 2 blue roses, to represent 2 civilians that had died under operations where she was there when the civilians were killed, doing this to not blame herself for the ones she couldn’t have helped, but to remember the ones her died in front of her, so she could learn from what happened. On one day for celebration, celebrating 2 years of service, she was just celebrating having a good time with her team who she got along well with. The night goes well and she walks home, she might have had a few drinks but she was fully capable of walking home alone, refusing any offer for help from her team. On her way home, there was an alleyway, it was a shortcut on the way home, she took it sometimes, there would be nothing wrong with going down there again right? However, she decided the extra steps might help her sober up a little on the walk home. She turns and continues on her way, getting about a minute up the street when she is tapped gently on the shoulder and as she turns around, everything goes black.

She wakes up in hospital the next day, the hangover nothing compared to the pain in her jaw, which she soon finds out was completely shattered, hit again and again, she had the bone fragments removed from her jaw. Her left jaw and most of her teeth had to be replaced, she now had a prosthetic and had the right side of her jaw stabilized by a metal plate, not all that different from having a normal jaw apart from the pain she felt as she still had to get used to the new jaw. For some reason her attackers had mainly targeted her jaw, injuries to other parts of her head being minor, however, when she spoke, she wounded different, her throat had been hit when she was attacked, her vocal chords damaged slightly, the doctors did what they could but her voice now sounded rougher and slightly hoarse. Eventually she recovered, but staying in the Beijing SWAT would likely get her targeted, staying in the country would likely get her targeted by whoever did this to her, and so ultimately she decided to leave. It was her dream, all she wanted since she was just 10 years old, to help others, to keep the country from falling apart, but she had to leave because her life was important too.

“My past? Well, I was born in Beijing, grew up in the Shijingshan District. My dad is a construction worker and my mother is a cop. I doubt you wanna hear all that much about my childhood, but to summarize I wanted to join SWAT since I was 10 years old, and from there worked on staying fit and getting good grades to do so. I went to college for my Bachelors in Physical Training at Beijing Sport University and applied for SWAT training from there. I got in, spent 3 years doing the training and joined SWAT at 25. And then, a few months ago, I was attacked and ended up in hospital, had to get the left side of my jaw replaced with a prosthetic and the right side stabilized with a metal plate. After recovery, I decided staying in China wasn't worth the risk and so I moved. If you have any further questions about my past feel free to ask.” She pulls out a thin black folder with "机密" (CLASSIFIED in Chinese) written in white over the front, sliding it over, "Or if you perhaps want to read a past operation, I had one cleared and translated to be shared."

Warning: Involves violence, guns and shooting if you do not wish to read anything like that, do not read the report. This is a SWAT report made by me, with the help of the game Ready Or Not to simulate an operation for the character. I have no real experience and so this report may be depicted inaccurately.

While on patrol in my designated patrol car, I heard gunshots in the distance. In response I immediately radioed in the disturbance and announced myself as responding. Upon arriving at the fuel station which was the scene of the disturbance. Upon arriving, I ensured that I had all of my equipment, ensuring that my QBZ 95-1 was loaded and on semi, and that my QBZ-92 was loaded.

Once on scene, I spot a heavily injured unknown on the floor outside of the building, I approach to check on the unknown and I turn on my laser as I approach. I noticed no guns on the heavily injured individual and so assumed them a civilian DOA. I then approach the left side of the building keeping sight on the front door at the same time, noting that the front door is see-through and most likely made of non-bullet proof glass. I check for visuals of any individuals on the left side and none are seen.

I proceed towards the front door, standing to the left side of the door to check for individuals towards the right side of the room and in doing so I spot nobody. I then proceed to the other side of the door, keeping my rifle pointed towards the door in case of spotting any suspects. Upon reaching the right side of the door I spot an unknown at the far left of the room, I keep my rifle aimed towards the unknown in case of any currently unseen weapons.

I proceed to yell at the unknown to get down, and I receive no response from the unknown that I have in my vision, however, I heard a separate, fearful sounding voice from the same side, likely hidden behind the shelves. I cross back over to the left side to ensure that I will not be shot from behind as I proceed towards the unknowns on the other side. I attempted to open the door and discovered it was locked and so I took the battering ram from my back and used it to breach the door.

I place the battering ram back behind my back and ready my rifle, I enter inside and swing around to face the unknown. The unknown had no visible weapons and I assumed that they were a civilian. I proceeded towards the civilian with the outside wall to my left, and on my right aisles were between shelves. I checked between them as I walked and another individual was spotted that had no visible weapons, so I assumed them to also be a civilian.

After yelling at the civilians to get down with their hands up, they both complied and so I proceeded towards the civilian further away so I could clear more of the area, upon reaching the civilian I noticed an open food towards the right with no visible of any individuals inside. I covered the door and instructed the civilian to move back so that they would be out of the sight line of the door.

I then instructed them to turn around so I could then restrain them with Zip-ties. After which I reported that there was a civilian in custody and again checked the open door before proceeding towards the other civilian which was spotted. I reach that civilian and order them to turn around so I could then restrain them with zip-ties before reporting them in custody.

I then proceeded around to the right side of the room where I spotted a closed door, upon starting to approach the closed door, I spot a closed door to the right and so I go to the left side of the door since I could tell the room did not have enough area to have a suspect on the right of the door, I swung the door open to reveal the freezer room with and area left and a shelf blocking view of the whole area. I proceeded into the room, swinging left and clearing the area behind the shelf before exiting the door.

I proceed to the door on the right in which I was originally moving towards. Upon approach of the door a voice is heard from the other side. I approached the left side of the door away from the door handle to be able to peak into the door. I attempt to peek the door but find out the door is locked, since the unknown on the other side of the door sounded close to the door, they would likely be in sight and so using the battering ram would be a bad idea.

I decided to lockpick the door to be able to peak it, spotting an injured individual inside, based on the visible amount of blood, the chance of them being alive is low and so I assumed they were DOA. I stepped to the right to be able to get more of a visible through the gap in the door, only spotting a closed door forwards on an angled wall.

I proceeded back to the left side of the door before swinging the door open and proceeding inside, I stand to the side of the closed door at the end of the angled wall using the wall as cover as I peek around it at the next open area. An unknown was spotted facing away from me and I yelled for them to get down which caused them to turn around towards me revealing what appeared to be a handgun.

This suspect then retreated left, going out of sight, and in turn I left cover to pursue the suspect. However, as I do so, the suspect returns going back towards the area they were in and so in response I returned to the cover from before. The suspect began to walk backwards away from me, facing me as they walked. I yelled for the suspect to drop the weapon which the suspect did not comply and responded with a verbal intent to not comply before stopping walking backwards and holding the gun behind their back.

However, after more yelling. The suspect complied and laid down handgun and so I proceeded towards the suspect and commanded for them to get down. The suspect does not comply with the command and I report the DOA while I keep my gun aimed towards the suspect and while doing so spotted a baton next to the DOA.

I continued towards the suspect with an open area to my left and a voice was heard from the open left area. Translucent glass separated me and the open area to the left. I proceeded further towards the suspect and as I did so I spotted an unknown in the centre of the open area with no visible weapon. The area was filled with many small translucent glass panels with gaps between them, making it hard to see and allowing for lines of sight that suspects may use.

The suspect then gets down and I determined that restraining the suspect would be safe due to solid cover towards the rest of the open area. I zip-tie the suspect, secure the gun and report both.

I yell at what I determined to be a civilian in the middle of the room while moving towards the cover by the sloped wall, where I use the cover to secure the baton by the DOA. I then proceeded back into the open area spotting the kitchen area to the left, going around the back to use the stalls and glass panels for as much cover as I could have got. The assumed civilian in the middle of the room then got down with their hands up.

I proceeded around the back of the room and spotted a suspect with a gun in hand crouched down and tucked into a corner. I yell at the suspect which causes them to stand for a moment before crouching down, seeming distressed. A voice was heard from the direction of the area where the suspect before was arrested and so I changed my cover to also cover my back better from that area in case of another suspect. I continued to yell at the suspect to drop the weapon and the suspect complied and got down.

I then proceeded towards the suspect and checked and the open left area before securing the weapon and zip-tying the suspect, reporting the suspect in custody as I did so. I then turn and proceed towards the assumed civilian in the middle of the room. As I approached the kneeling civilian a suspect opened fire through the translucent glass and so I returned fire, aiming for the silhouette through the glass as I fell back towards cover.

As I ducked behind cover the suspect ran from the right side towards the left side where a restrained suspect was, likely moving over to assist him. As they ran they continued fire and so I returned fire towards them, the suspect appeared to be hit as they seemed to hold themselves in pain.

I yelled at the suspect to drop the weapon and they complied, dropping the weapon to the floor and raising their hands. As I began to approach the suspect, dropped to his knees, zip-tie the civilian in the centre of the room with cover between me and the suspect as in case they pick up their weapon, I then reported the civilian in custody. I then proceed around the back side, maintaining as much cover between me and the suspect that opened fire as possible. Once I arrived at the kneeling suspect from behind, I restrained them with a zip-tie and secured the weapon then reporting the suspect in custody.

I then proceeded to the door on the right side, an open door. I proceeded through, an open door sharp left, 2 bathroom doors left, one open and a closed double door right as well as the open door straight leading into the first room cleared. I proceed to clear the small bathrooms, clearing the open one before swinging open the door on the other and clearing that. I then checked the closed double door, finding it locked and so I lock-picked the door.

I stood on the left side of the double door, peeking through to see that the door led outside. I see no individuals from the gap in the door. I swung open the door and leaned out to check for individuals. I spotted a person with a gun in hand, designating them a suspect and immediately, I yelled for them to get down.

The suspect backed away heading towards behind cover before getting half way behind cover and complying with my yelling, raising their hands with the weapon before slowly placing it on the ground. I stepped out of the door checking left, spotting an individual, and spotting no weapons so I designated them a civilian.

I proceeded towards the suspect and they got down, I got behind them and zip-tied the suspect and secured the weapon with cover towards the assumed civilian before reporting them as in custody.

When proceeding towards the civilian an unknown was spotted with no visible weapon, assuming them as a civilian. I zip-tie the civilian I was already going towards, reporting them in custody, before heading towards the newly spotted civilian, zip-tying them as well, and reporting them as in custody. I then proceeded inside towards the unchecked door, proceeding inside, spotting a civilian on the right with 1 open and 1 further closed door on the left towards him. I checked around the room, finding a child tucked away, reporting them before heading over to the spotted civilian and zip-tying and reporting them.

I proceeded through the open door left and spotted an open doorway into the kitchen, which I had seen earlier when clearing the second large room, determining the area clear, a closed door ahead and open door to the right and I found out the previously spotted closed door further down led into the same room.

I first checked the open door on the left, as it was a dark storage room, I used my flashlight to clear the room. I then proceeded out and to the closed door that was straight ahead before. I opened the door to an office with an open doorway right with blood and bloody footprints leading away. I proceeded in to find a DOA inside, I reported the DOA before proceeding though and clearing the hallway in which the DOA was inside, seeing the open doorway leading back into the clear room before, meaning that this building had now all been cleared.

Can you legally own a pocket knife in Karakura?
No, weapons are illegal in karakura and the only items that could be used as weapons would be items with reasonable other uses (bats and pipe wrenches, which result in fines if in the possession of a felon)

“No, I believe owning a pocket knife at all in Karakura is completely illegal and results in a possession of illegal weaponry charge if found.” She explained in the same tone you’d expect by now.

Name 5 medical items that do NOT require a prescription
Cough syrup, eyepatches, bandages, paracetamol and Iron supplements

“Items that do not require a prescription?” She paused, furrowing her brows in thought before responding “Well… If I remember correctly, cough syrup and paracetamol are legal…” She brought her left hand up to her chin rubbing it in thought as she muttered “What else” to herself. She seemed to remember something and spoke up with her usual blank face apart from a raised eyebrow “Eyepatches and bandages would be legal, I was trying to think more about medicine… and I supposed something like iron supplements would be considered a medical item so those too, that’s five.”

If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do?
Ensure body cam is recording and/or a camera is able to see, attempt to confront but not escalate and ask them to stop, if co-workers do not seem compliant back off and call for help without using the radio as that would alert them and likely escalate the situation, then whether they complied with stopping or not, report to higher-ups with evidence.

“Well… it would certainly not be something I would expect…" Her expression looked thoughtful and showed a hint of what seemed to be irritation “If it were to happen… I would assure that there would be some kind of evidence of the encounter, such as a security camera or a body cam so I could report it.” She left out a long sigh, her expression starting to return to its previous blank state, “But I can’t just let them keep doing it, so I would first try to de-esculate, get them to stop… if they don’t comply, maybe some kind of excuse to get them to stop… such as a higher-up wandering around… the chance of being caught would likely cause them to stop. Only if necessary I would physically intervene… it would be important not to alert them if possible… so if I can avoid physical altercation or radioing so I can safely get evidence to a higher-up… that would be ideal.”

What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted?
Radio in for backup, details should be; location, no. of co-workers on scene, no. of suspects, general description of suspects (including if they are armed and/or masked) and then run to help ensure that safety is off in case of needing to fire.

“If a co-worker is being assaulted? Well… I’d radio it in if it hadn't already been, with details like descriptions of suspects and how many there are. Then I’d assure I was ready for an altercation with appropriate force, such as ensuring my taser’s safety was off.”

What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations?
Gather proof, nothing can be done without proof, then show to higher ups and let them decide how to handle the situation.

“Helping a criminal organisation?” She seemed shocked and unsure of what to say. “Nothing can be done without evidence, so I would start there, I would need something to show the higher-ups to show I’m not lying. And from there… well I doubt there's much I’d personally be able to resolve so I’d leave it up to the higher-ups and do what they ask me to…” She took a deep breath, her face returning to its usual blank expression. “It’d be best to avoid personally confronting them at all… it’d risk my safety and any evidence I may have gotten…”

How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you?
Inform them that bribery is a crime and that they could be punished for attempting to do so and if they then continue to insist then I would fine them.

“Trying to bribe me? I would tell them that bribery is a crime, and that if they insist I will fine them for it.” She said in her calm tone with her blank expression, not needing to think as hard for the question than some of the others..
