˗ˏˋ BECK ADACHI ´ˎ˗
❝ Sometimes you sulk, sometimes you burn. God rest your soul.❞
Age: 18
Gender: Male (He/Him)
Orientation: Bisexual
Ethnicity: White + Asian
Nationality: Japanese
Hometown: Karakura, Japan
Birthday: March 11
Zodiac: Pisces
Appearance:
Beck is a lanky, mixed white and Japanese boy, standing at 6'3". Grime lines his fingernails, a testament to his love of tree climbing, and his wavy locks frame his face in a jumbled heap. His almond-eyes are smudged with inky black liner, accentuating his hazel irises. Freckles smattered the bridge of his nose, adding to his boyish charm. Beck is often seen wearing a gloomy ensemble, one that could be classified as belonging to the emo subculture. His choice of clothing typically consists of dark colors, such as black or gray, paired with graphic tees and skinny jeans.
Backstory:
Beck Adachi was born on a frigid winter morning in Karakura, Japan to a Russian woman studying abroad at Karakura College and a local fiction writer. Growing up as an only child was an isolating experience. With few friends and little to do, Beck's father introduced him to the art of language. He devoured books and wrote stories from a young age, his father serving as a mentor. However, when Beck was eleven, his parents' marriage began to crumble. The divorce was messy and traumatic, causing a great deal of pain for everyone involved. Beck chose to stay with his father in Karakura, while his mother returned to Russia. Since then, Beck has struggled to cope with the aftermath of the divorce. He often feels lonely and isolated, and employs writing as an outlet.
Personality:
Beck is a multi-faceted character whose outward demeanor belies his true nature. Beneath a blithe façade rests a quiet soul, thoroughly guarding his emotions from the world. His lightheartedness, once the hallmark of his personality, has faded over time, eroded by the harsh realities of a difficult home life. The bullying he endured and the hostility he faced on the streets of Karakura have left their mark, leaving him hesitant and stand-offish in the presence of strangers. Yet, once that wall of reserve is broken, one will discover a kindhearted individual, full of empathy.
Though his playful nature has given way to a more serious disposition, his good humor and desire to connect with others remains.
