In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for: A tutor works one-on-one or in small groups with students who need extra academic support outside of regular class instruction. This includes breaking down difficult material into more manageable concepts, helping with homework or test prep, and adjusting teaching methods to suit each student's individual learning style. A tutor should be patient and encouraging, creating a low-pressure environment where students feel comfortable asking questions without fear of judgment. Beyond academics, a good tutor helps build a student's confidence in their own abilities and fosters better study habits and time management skills that carry over into their regular classes.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?: I've been playing SRP for a while now and most of my experience comes from CrimeRP. I've built out a good amount of consistent characters there and learned how to think fast in situations that get tense or move quick. Outside of Crime I've also spent some time in FamilyRP, which helped me get more comfortable with slower, day-to-day roleplay instead of just high-tension scenarios. Right now though I want to take a step back from Crime for a while and try something on a totally different side of the server. Tutoring feels like a good way to use what I've learned about handling people and situations, but in a way that's actually about helping instead of causing chaos.
Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?: My motivation for joining the School Employee faction is because I really enjoy the faction and how each of the members work together. I attempted to apply to become a teacher, but it got denied and since then I lost the motivation to consider re-applying, so when these applications opened it gto me excited since I could atleast be a part of the School in a different way. Becoming an employee seems like a really good way to be involved and support the school. I love the interactions I see and from my own personal experiences with interaction the school faculty.

Situations
During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?: Elowyn remains composed and doesn't take the insult personally. She recognizes that outbursts like this are often rooted in frustration unrelated to her directly, possibly stemming from struggling with the material or a bad day. She calmly tells the student that language isn't acceptable regardless of frustration, giving a verbal warning, and If the disrespect continues, she'll end the session and hand the student a detention slip!
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?: Elowyn immediately radios to get help and then would begin an attempt to de-escalate the situation If it's safe to do so without putting herself at risk. Once staff arrive and the fight is broken up, she checks if anyone needs medical attention and gives a statement on what she witnessed to the Nurse (If needed!) before proceeding to slap a detention slip to the offenders hand.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?: Elowyn steps in and calmly but firmly tells them to stop, explaining why what they're doing is unsafe or not appropriate. She won't argue or escalate the situation herself, but will document what happened and file an SLT report immediately afterward so it can be properly addressed.
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?: Elowyn is friendly and easygoing with her coworkers, happy to chat if others want to, but she's equally comfortable working quietly on her own if that's what the room calls for. She respects everyone's space and doesn't push conversation on anyone who seems like they'd rather be left alone.

/me pulled up a chair beside the student's desk, keeping a friendly, unintimidating distance as she glanced over the worksheet between them. She tapped her pen lightly against the margin, tilting her head as she considered the best way to explain the problem without simply handing over the answer.
/me leaned back slightly, watching the student work through the problem on their own. Her expression stayed patient and encouraging, a small smile forming as she nodded along, letting them figure it out at their own pace before offering a gentle nudge in the right direction.
/me jotted quick notes flagging which problems she planned to focus on with each student during their next session.

Backstory
Elowyn was born to her mother and father in a small town, growing up she was always the kid that picked things up fast in school, whether it was math or just random things other kids didn't get, and because of that other students, even ones younger than her, would end up asking her for help with their homework or things their teacher had rushed through in class. It started off as just her helping a friend at the kitchen table with homework but it slowly turned into something she would look forward to every single week, there was something about watching someone go from being confused and frustrated to actually understanding it themselves that made her want to keep doing it.
By the time she got to university she already knew that this was something she wanted to do as an actual career. She enrolled into an Education program with a focus on Mathematics, since it was the subject she noticed the most people struggled with, and also the one she felt the most confident in when it came to helping others. Alongside her main courses she also minored in Child Psychology, she wanted to understand not just how to teach the material itself but how different students actually take in and process information differently from each other, not everyone learns the same way after all.
During her time studying, Elowyn worked part time as a peer tutor at her university's learning center, she mainly worked with students who were close to failing their core classes at the time. It was during this that she learned the difference between just repeating the correct method to someone and actually teaching them to think through the problem on their own. She got a lot better at noticing when a student was close to shutting down out of frustration, and learned to change how she explained something depending on what actually made sense to that person.
After she graduated Elowyn spent a couple years working informally as a private tutor, but eventually she wanted something more structured where she could actually put her skills to use properly instead of just working with people one time and never following up with them again. She ended up moving to Karakura for a fresh start, hoping to find a school where she could actually make a lasting impact on students instead of it just being a one time thing. She's been looking for the right place to settle into ever since, and that's when KHS caught her attention.
Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
Elowyn would lean back slightly in her chair thinking about the question for a second. "Honestly, I just want somewhere stable, somewhere I can actually build real relationships with the students I help instead of just seeing someone once and never knowing if they actually got better or not." She would pause for a moment before continuing "KHS just feels like the kind of place where I could actually watch a student go from struggling to confident over time, and that's really the whole reason I got into tutoring in the first place!"
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
Elowyn would think for a second before answering, "I'd say it's my patience, and the fact that I actually understand how differently people learn." She would nod slightly to herself "That comes from both my school background and the tutoring I've already done before, I'm not just trying to rush through the material with someone, I actually care that they understand it, and that the whole thing feels approachable instead of stressful for them!"
