Nickname(‘S):

“Sun”
“Sunny”

Date of birth:
2002, March 1st.
Diseases/Illness:
Hypoglycemia-
a condition in which your blood sugar (glucose) level is lower than normal.
Fears:
Aquaphobia- The fear of water.
Taking place during Yeosun’s childhood, she was often bullied alongside her two other sisters - her twin specifically being frequently confused for her. For her classmate’s birthday, their family had decided to host a pool party. Usually, this would be any kid’s dream birthday. Fun in the sun with friends, splashing around and giggling breathlessly. Though the young Yeosun was anxious as she couldn’t swim. However, as it was already decided, she and her sisters went. Everything was going swimmingly until a group of children decided it’d be funny to shove the puny girl into the water. They laughed maliciously as they watched her frail body fall into the boundless embrace of the water below her. Everybody watched as she struggled immensely to reach the top, assuming because she was so much shorter compared to the class that she’d take longer. After a few moments of waiting, realization had set into the simple-minded children: Yeosun couldn’t swim. Panic had then come as a result, having moments to spare to save the delicate girl. A child called their parents, who had to dive in and save the lifeless doll-like body that seemed to be trapped within a watery cage. Ever since that fateful day, Yeosun has been terrified of large bodies of water.
Autophobia- The fear of isolation.
The tragic loss of her twin sister had left a big imprint on Yeosun’s heart. The drastic change in her life is what blossomed the fear of isolation. Typically, she’d always been surrounded by her team and her twin, everything then set into stone once her other sister had officially turned her back on her, leaving her feeling shunned. Most of the time when she was alone, bad-luck seemed to gravitate her way. Whether it was the terrible thoughts that tended to plague her mind when left to her own devices, to the horrible experiences she had with shadowy figures when being out a bit too late at night. This is one of the reasons Yeosun was so attached to her twin as she provided a sort of comfort that let her know she was never truly alone. However, the absence of her mixed with being left behind by her youngest sister now caused Yeosun a sense of dread as she was now truly alone in a foreign world.
Astraphobia- The fear of thunderstorms.
An adolescent Yeosun hated thunder and just loud noises in general, ranging from the rise of someone’s tone to the unexpected ‘THUD that came with an object falling. With the crashing and pitter-patter of the rain outside during a thunderstorm, Yeosun felt safest curled in the tub of her mother’s bathroom. Even when her mother had eventually passed away, she continued to reside in the safety of the tub. This became an ongoing cycle for as long as she could remember; a cycle she never grew out of even when she got older. As of today, she’s filled with bubbling anxiety whenever there is a thunderstorm as she never knows when the next ‘CRASH’ of thunder will go off.
Cynophobic- The fear of dogs.
Every time Yeosun has come in contact with a dog, she’s always been a bit nervous. Due to her living conditions, Yeosun has never spent much time around dogs and therefore isn’t used to seeing them much. There was one fateful afternoon, however, that would shape how she looked at dogs for the rest of her life. A friend by the name of Artamyn had invited Yeosun to join him and his friend, Chloe Evans, for some yoga at the frat. This is when she ran into a large dog by the name of Bruce. As most dogs would, he went to go sniff her hand, to which she proceeded to step back nervously. Bruce used this opportunity to jump on Yeosun. This is rather normal behavior for dogs and usually, people would be a bit startled or unphased by it. However, for Yeosun, her initial nervousness of Bruce soon turned into fear after being unexpectedly jumped on by him. Due to her jumpy personality, things tend to scare Yeosun a lot more than the average person. From that day on, Yeosun continues to be scared of dogs as they remind her of that horrific event.
Ever since Yeosun has entered Karakura, she has experienced numerous encounters with people forcing themselves onto her. From being intensely mistreated to having people forcibly kiss her. But one experience with a person, in particular, had stuck with her as they had taken it way too far. This person had caused her intense feelings of distress and nausea that are now associated with touch. Making her feel as if she was sick for not giving in to them, for not giving them what they wanted. Rather than asking they had taken it all for themselves, causing her to feel worthless. That her own body wasn't her choice to give, yet man's will and demand she must follow when asked. Being degraded for allowing herself to give in just once, trying to make it all just stop. Rather than helping the situation it only made it all the worse, feeling filled with nothing but fear and regret. The once loving touch of desire tainted with disgust and fear of what may come next. She only tends to be comfortable with people touching her if she especially trusts them.
Ligyrophobia- The fear of very sudden loud noises.
Most kids are often yelled at by their parents when growing up, being confronted for whatever mistake they’d made. However, Yeosun got to experience a seemingly ‘luxury’ compared to other children as her parents weren’t around much to yell at her. Her mother was frequently sick and her father was away for work. With both of her parents being so busy, Yeosun ended up taking on the role of the parent. So being yelled at became foreign to her as she was usually the one doing the yelling when disciplining her siblings for their useless banter. The result of a childhood like this is that Yeosun is rather sensitive to being yelled at. Being yelled at causes her to, not freeze in shock, but rather, in fear.
Description:
Yeosun stood at the puny height of 5’0 with a slim pear-shaped physique, weighing a mere 100lbs, though often fluctuating. The polite young girl presented herself with a poised posture, though despite this, had an anxious mist surrounding her frail body. The female’s eyes were the hue of the ocean during the night, possessing the same aura of it too as they were equanimous and dull. So deep you could lose yourself in the sad orbs, luxuriant lashes delicately framing the serene landscape plastered into her eyes. To match with her doll-like appearance, the dainty female had quiet freckles that decorated her rosy, porcelain skin exquisitely, being especially prominent on her cheeks. Framing her adorable face was naturally blonde hair cut into a short bob that fell down in tender waves with a carefree aspect to it. Complimenting her innocent appearance was the sweet smell of raspberries & lavender.
Mannerisms:
Characteristic phrases:
“I’m so sorry-”
“My apologies. .”
“Mh- I didn’t mean to. .”
[Voice]
Physical Mannerisms:
Due to Yeosun's actions often being perceived as childish, or immature she tends to subconsciously flirt with others as she's just simply speaking with them. This is an issue as it can often lead to misunderstandings
Unlike many others, to Yeosun manners are a very serious thing and should always be noted when speaking with others, such as speaking on the phone while you're hanging out with someone which is often perceived as quite rude. She tends to get easily upset and call people out on their bad manners, this sometimes leads to taking their phones.
When she speaks to people sometimes she stands in a position where she holds her hands behind her back, simply holding her right wrist with her left hand. Her posture pushes forwards as she makes eye-contact.
Personality:
Yeosun is a jumpy, sheepish girl who is very solicitous and overthinks due to it. She holds manners above anything else and acts polite when first meeting someone. She’s a very motherly and compassionate girl, even to mere strangers. Typically the person someone goes to when they need to be comforted or need someone to give them advice, to which Yeosun will happily oblige. As fate would have it, Yeosun is a clumsy girl who frequently hurts herself. It’s almost as if the girl has two left feet at times!
Once in a more comfortable environment, Yeosun’s uptightness and politeness falter a bit as she begins to act more immaturely. When alone with people she really trusts, Yeosun is capable of acting energetic and loud, even a bit hot-headed. Though, this is only possible with people she truly feels comfortable around.
Though she has a very kind personality who is usually comfortable with letting people choose what they want to do on their own, Yeosun is incapable of standing by and watching someone destroy themselves. Even if they push her away, her pushy, stubborn nature tempts her to stay by their side while guiding them in the right direction. Due to having such a fiery passion in her soul to always do what's right for her friends, she will impulsively enter situations without the consideration of her own wellbeing.
In spite of the trauma of losing family members and being betrayed by others, Yeosun continues to stay her selfless, heroic personality.
While Yeosun was growing up she lived in Gordes, France with her Mother & Father, and two sisters. Her father was a French police officer who worked many late nights out of town, her mother was a Korean woman who seemed to be a stay at home mom. This led to her teaching the three girls Korean from a young age, they had often used the language when her father was away. This was a way that their Mother felt she could stay connected with her culture and teach her three daughters the importance of worshiping their Korean ancestors. The girls would often use the language in class to stay connected, rather than speaking French as the others around them did. During school, Yeosun was often bullied alongside her sisters for being different. The girls would stick together ignoring others while getting constant harassment, this caused a lot of Val's impulsive tendencies as they got older. Ryu was the type to keep to herself and cling to Yeosun for help, a rather shy character but easily upset. Yeosun was at a loss, with her two sisters who had been complete opposites. She often found herself between the two, breaking up their childish fights and arguments. Even in the end, she always took the blame. Sadly enough even when their mother had fallen horribly ill she took the blame, only at the age of fifteen, the three girls lost their mother figure. This caused Yeosun to take over the role of mother while their father was always off to work. When the girls hit the age of 17, their father decided that schooling in France was no longer suitable for them. This led to his decision to pay for their flights to Japan, their youngest sister was a year late to follow. During the girls years at Karakura high, Yeosun joined the high-school Track team with her twin sister “Ryu” they both excelled in school soon after but, “Ryu” got into some conflicts with a couple of friends. This is when she took her own life. Thus, leaving Yeosun on her own in Karakura, Japan. After hearing the news “Val” flew to Karakura almost immediately. A few months later, Yeosun came upon a male named “Mycroft” Hamilton, after getting to know him for some time he decided to take Yeosun in as his own, signing the paper he adopted her into the Hamilton family along with her sister Valencia. After a few months went by, “Val” moved back to France to take care of their biological father who’d grown ill.
