Upbringing [0-14] Born on November 25th on a relatively cold and early fall morning, Edwin would find himself a member of the D'Scallion family. A fishing and mariner family by trade living in Hayden Island, Oregon. One of Portland's 95 recognized neighborhoods being located on a strip of land on the Columbia River squished between Portland and Vancouver, Washington. Sitting under Mt. Hood and living in such close vicinity to the water Edwin would have a general affinity and connection with the nature around him. Perhaps due to there long history in the trade Edwin was never encouraged to chase his ambitions instead to focus on what works, which for this family had always been on the water. This approach and many others followed a strict expectation of utilitarianism within the family. Said approach built what was felt to be a generally cold and distant household, often unknowing crushing the boys ambitions and spirit before they had a chance to blossom. This relationship being most prevalent between Edwin and his parents with expectations set in stone with any deviance being treated with apprehension. This general atmosphere acted in sharp contrast to the boys own conviction, but in an attempt to avoid potentially copious levels of conflict he would play the part, at least for know. However, Edwin would find solace with his Grandmother on his Fathers side, providing a needed change in atmosphere breaking away from the approach the rest of the D'Scallion family seemed to favor. Without this much needed outlet Edwin would of needed to embrace the same attitude as his Parents and lose a part of him in the process or escape it entirely. In what was an open secret between the two Edwin gained the support and warmth he failed to receive from the rest of his family through general encouragement and a break from the pragmatic approach held by the rest around him. Having an outlet to express dreams and goals outside the clean-cut expectations held by the rest Edwin held a much closer relationship with his Grandmother then anyone else in the family. While still melancholy with the surroundings he found himself in he deemed it bearable as long as he had the kinship of his Grandmother. |

ⓘ Live Edwin flight Mishap | Desolate [14-16] In a abruptly unanimous decision by the rest of the D'Scallion household, the conclusion had been made it was no longer 'cost-effective' to continue providing direct care to the family Elder. Opting to instead send her out of state to a retirement home. This decision did not come without push back, Edwin unused to confronting such a conflict head on attempted his best to persuade his family but was unsuccessful. A regret he lives with till this day. This period marked a switch for Edwin, the days of conceding and haphazardly accepting the families approach were far gone. With out the kinship of his Grandmother by his side the once manageable environment was not something he could bare any longer. In a fairly reckless adolescence defiance, unusual of Edwin, he would attempt to 'ship' himself to his grandmothers retirement home. However, at the boys lowest moment he severely mishandled the shipping process and found himself on a Plane overseas with out a slightest plan. |
Serendipity [16-18] Against Edwin's usual conduct he found himself abroad in Karakura, Japan on accident. Unsure of how to proceed he conceded and contacted his family back at home. To the dismay of Edwin, but unsurprisingly, he was not met with an ounce of sympathy or pro-activeness to help the boy from either of his parents. With them stating "you got yourself into this mess you can get yourself out," without anyone to turn to he contacted his Grandmother instead who as always provided the compassion that was lacking from the rest of his family. She offered a helping hand the best way she knew how by taking out books from the local library in Edwin's name and, being much more well versed in writing addresses, shipping them overseas for the time being, the debt still happening to rack up to neither of the twos knowledge. Motivated by the encouragement from his Grandmother, and zero want to return home after the treatment from his family at his lowest point Edwin would decide to stay in Karakura in an effort to prove his independence and for a much needed break from the callus atmosphere back home. During this time, Edwin would struggle immensely adapting to the new town, keeping to himself much of the time while attempting his best but failing to pick up the local language. However, with zero capital or want to return home Edwin knew something had to change, and in this case it was himself. Pushing himself out of his usual bubble Edwin would use his time at and outside of school to talk and meet with plenty of new people, finally making friends in the new country Edwin would improve his fluency and adapt to the new surroundings with every following semester. Nearing the end of his time at Karakura high, Edwin had reached near fluency in Japanese and had a much more concrete position in the town, with a solid group of friends and being much more open and generally happier. Other then missing his Grandma and looking forward to her care packages Edwin did not think much about returning home or the family he left behind in the slightest. |
Normality [18 - Present] Now far more comfortable in Karakura life would start changing a lot as Edwin became an adult, with a supposed lock in occurring during this time with many notable events. On January 31st 2026 Edwin would graduate from Karakura High, in the presence of Adrien Delagado, Touji Otori and Eimi Suiren he reportedly said “Wait hold on gotta go do something” before leaving the College cheer house and returning approximately 15 seconds later stating “Alright I’m back” holding his highschool diploma. 
ⓘ Edwin Graduating from Karakura High Soon after on February 1st, Edwin would try out for the College Baseball team alongside two other attendees trying out. Edwin would be accepted joining his fellow Spartans on the College Baseball team. February 3rd, Edwin after speaking with a buyer would make a cash purchase for the house at ▋▋▋ ▋▋▋▋ Road, ▋▋▋▋▋▋▋▋▋ District, Karakura, Japan. Later that day, Edwin would speak to Koi Sang-eo Mulgogi, a Guji at the Shinsei Seinaru Monastery about performing a Jichinsai Ritiual at the property before further construction occured. Due to Edwin's worry about the houses rather close proximity to an abandoned power plant and the large crime in the area. By February 5th, 3 members from the local Shrine: Koi Sang-eo Mulgogi, Kohana Otori, and Kohana Otori, would perform a Jichinsai on the D’Scallion property to 9 attendees. Those being (in recalled order seated 3x3) Edwin D’Scallion, Moriel Maeng, Wendy Fisher, Touji Otori, Tawny Shiranui, Rio Castello, Feuz Beltran, Christian Voss ,and Adrian Akori-Hope. |

| Growing up in Hayden Island, Oregon, a marine community centered in the Columbia River between Portland, Oregon and Vancover, Washington the D'Scallion family trade was majority Commercial Fishing or Marine adjacent. Or, at least this was the limits to which careers we're discussed to the boy, perhaps to keep his ambitions at bay. Either way, Fishing became a habit for Edwin, one in which traveling across an ocean would not rid. Often finding the hobby relaxing he can usually be found fishing upstream of the main Ochiba Forest pond or elsewhere hidden in the forest. He much preferred the usually quite nature of Ochiba Forest to his hometown which centered between two cities and an interstate connection the two often suffered from noise pollution. 
ⓘ OOC: Edwin's Fishing Stats | On February 1st, 2026, Edwin D’Scallion would try out for the College Baseball team, while completely ill-prepared and still wearing a cast on his left leg he was assured by the Captain Tomas 'Tom' Bloomenfield it was alright. Against all odds Edwin would display vigor, determination and an emphasis for teamwork and ultimately would be invited to the team, taking the number #4 which he has ever since proudly displayed on the back of his attire. 
ⓘ Edwin & Baseball Members during the Spring Sprite Festival | On February 24th, 2026 Edwin would send his application to join the Karakura Gaming Club, in which he would later be accepted in by one Percival Evermoore. Edwin would be joined alongside various friends and other members in joining the newly created club. While enjoying Gaming and related endeavors Edwin awkwardly parttakes in the one-sided rivarly from the Gaming Club to the Outdoors club, failing to mention the amount of time he spends outdoors in Ochiba Forest to his club-lead Percieval.

Tech Proficiency Edwin posses a natural understanding and skill of many things tech related, running his owner Servers he referes to as 'Ednet' located in a storage closet under the stairs of his property. On a few occasions Edwins skills have come in handy to repair or fix broken items. On one such case Edwin removed a supposed ▋▋▋▋▋™ spyware Chip from Tae-Hyeon Maeng's laptop. In another case, during a break-in and vandalization of the College Baseball Property Edwin would remove any traces of viruses on a teammates laptop, supposedly installed during the break in.

Methodical Being unable to help it Edwin is still the son of his parents and was raised in the D'Scallion household, because of this he can often think or act very ****ytically having a strength with numbers or thinking logically. Edwin often has to work against his own nature and avoid the similar utilitarian views his family bestowed upon him, finding himself in Karakura and forcing himself to be more open has quelled this behavior somewhat. |
