Nina is an Awkward chaotic. She can look very calm but she can have very crazy thoughts. When she cracks up a joke she will keep a straight face. She's an introvert, you will often see her doing things alone, in her own little world. She's a person who has her boundaries straight. She wont let other people use her. She's also a very disciplined person who keeps track of everything she does and is very conscious on how she uses her time. She makes sure not to waste time, spending her free time doing physical activities such as swimming and jogging. When she sees someone she finds attractive, she tends to be more social towards them. She's very respectful towards any new culture, whether old or new. She can get easily offended by people who are judgemental. However she's rarely phased by anything weird happening around her. In class she will focus on the teacher, write notes. She tries not to interact with the other students. She's a smart student, she will ask teachers if she has a question. Nina was diagnosed with BPD(Borderline Personality Disorder) and Anxiety when she was 15, She sometimes has anxiety tics that makes her suddenly hiccup one time and it stops. She has manias from time to time that makes her excessively sad or happy, she struggles building friendships from it,this is why she prefers being alone with herself because she's worried people might abandon her.
She suffered a Xanax addiction for a short while, she recovered in two years
When she was a child, her brother mentally and physically abused her, and her dad was absent most of the time. Her mental problems started from there
Backstory:(Life intro)
17th May 2004,A baby girl was born in a private hospital in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Her family lived in a medium sized terrace house, painted fully white with a verandah outside her house. Coming from a lower grade-rich family she never really struggled financially. She had 9 cats and loves each and every one of them equally. She had 2 brothers who came from another father(her mom was divorced and remarried). Her brothers despises her, maybe because she came from another father. One of her brother physically abused her while the other mentally abused her. Her dad was absent most of her childhood, flinging around with other women, her mother was devastated from all this, and divorced her dad.
Back in Malaysia, when she was in primary school she was deemed a top student. At this time she would seek male validation and was called a pick me, she started being this way from the lack of attention she got from her brothers and father. She hated everything feminine, tried being a tomboy but it clearly didn't work out for her. When she was 13 she stopped being this way, rebelled towards herself. picked up a completely new personality. Now she's very feminine to the point many people didn't recognize her for the first few months.
When she was 13, Her mom decided to move to Japan for work purposes. After knowing this she was devastated but excited at the same time, thinking maybe life would be amazing in Japan. She's worried of the language barrier. But she can converse completely fine in English. Nina was always better in English than her local language. She often conversed in English with her friends back in Malaysia.At the moment she is struggling to learn Japanese and talk other local students. She only knows the basics such as 'Hello' and 'Good morning'. She made a few friends that could converse in English, but she never met anyone who could speak Malay like her. Her friends are trying to help her learn Japanese and hopefully soon she will be making gradual progress.
In Japan, Her mother met a wonderful man and got remarried, resulting in her to incorporate a new last name, "Kinoko" which means mushroom. Her stepdad ran a mushroom industrial business and cultivates mushrooms for a living, its definitely something Nina grew a liking towards mushrooms
She's not really into blending in, she refuses any alcohol offered to her and rejects any fling offer anyone tells her, shes hoping to find true love in school. She primarily gets around by train around the city.

Rustle...Rustle... "Good morning Nina!" said Nina's Dad with an eager smile on his face
all the rustling came from the fresh-folded newspaper he was reading, you can clearly
see a perpendicular crease at the middle of the times-new-roman printed paper. He was
sitting in frog style on a mahogany wood chair with a goose feather cushion, sipping his
morning coffee. That much caffeine on a daily basis could NOT be healthy in the long run.
The room filled with unpacked boxes, small cuts of cardboard that teared from the boxes
fly around the room. "You sure I couldn't just stay home and unpack all this mess?"
"Don't be ridiculous Nina, education is important to you, plus aren't you excited of making
new Japanese friends?" His eyes still darted at the newspaper, barely lifting it to meet hers.
Nina crossed her arms, pouting just ever so slightly. She just landed yesterday and sailed to
Karakura Island by a private ferry, Is going to school directly after a good idea?
On the table, instead of her typical rice at home were Japonica type rice, with a side of grilled
Saba fish, and some Miso-Shiru as an appertizer. She wasn't really bothered by the huge
transition of cuisines, she always had Japanese food back in Malaysia. "That school is a very
well reputational one. Don't taint it." "Right"

After moving out,She realised Karakura wasn't as safe as what her parents said. As locals know, Karakura was filled with crime.
Kidnaps, robbery happens on the daily. Nina was sadly a victim of the cause. A group named the Kenzo's started seeing her as a prey when she was
15 years old with the first devious attempt being to scam Nina by telling her to buy a pair of earrings, making her lose around 20k, which was a lot during that time to her, with allowance money being very scarce. Nina didn't suffer any injuries. However the continuous harassments happened,
a member of the Kenzo family attacked her at the Plaza, causing her to have a few bruises, and even a swollen eye
Her size did not help her, she was far too small
to fight back despite knowing a little bit of martial arts. Being foreign she had no one to seek help from. She's got friends, but even
they couldn't fight them back. In a total of 3 mugging attempts, Nina lived in constant fear, avoiding to be in the overall public so no one
can cause any harm towards her.
