Describe your activity on the server:
As of right now, I have no set schedule and try to log on daily! Since it’s the summer, I’m rarely unavailable unless I’m out doing something. I often try to log on between the hours of 12PM-12AM. I’m on at least once a day and have been trying to become more active as I’ve found more time to myself. Though, when I am a student I often only have time to log on between the hours of 4PM-10PM.

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
I’ve been roleplaying for around seven years now. Before I joined SRP I did roleplays on roblox, finding the type of style I liked roleplaying through a looong process. It’s taken me a while to get where I am today and I couldn’t be happier with the people I’ve met through it. I didn’t learn most of what I know now until I actually joined SRP! I had played for a year without someone guiding me through it, and then randomly took a year long break before someone I’d met mentioned it to me.

When they’d mentioned it, I was pretty reluctant, considering I had let it go for a while. Through some convincing, I came back and learned that a lot of things had changed. This was the first time I actually experienced the server in a way that made sense to me, developing my character slowly. I was in GangRP for a year or so before I put it behind me, deciding it wasn’t for me, replacing it with a few instances of CrimeRP, formerly Fight Club and Blood Hounds.

Recently, I’ve strived to find more experiences in roleplay. Ever since I started roleplaying I was attracted to the EMS faction and have been ever since. On another hand, the factions I’ve already been in provided amazing experiences. I was in high school female football for a little bit, getting to learn how the jock side of roleplay worked and found a few friends in that. Then, to my most recent faction that I’ve been in, Professor. Faculty was the first faction that I had to learn commands in and learn the formalities of the specific roleplay in. It took me a while to get comfortable with all of the material, but eventually I got the hang of it.

As of right now, I mostly do roleplay on my character Akane, slowly finding my way back to being active and often simply roleplaying around people that my character has befriended, expanding her circle slowly as I find my way back into more frequent roleplay.

What is your motivation for applying?
I’ve always liked the concept of EMS and find the roleplay in the faction interesting! Ever since I was introduced to the faction, I’ve wanted to join it. I try to incorporate a lot of emotional aspects into my roleplay and would love to expand into more frequent encounters with it. I figure that Psychiatry, being therapy, is one of the best places to find it.

Another reason I feel inclined to join the faction is due to finding joy in DetailRP. I like being able to dump walls of text and receive them in return. The more I get to read and reciprocate, the more fun I have with the roleplay, and every time I’ve gone to the hospital for roleplay, I’ve never been dissapointed!

Not only do I love the idea of having more roleplay opportunities, I also find the community in EMS to be very welcoming and fun to roleplay with! I’ve roleplayed with a few EMS workers, (Honorable Mention: Rip_Fluccss) and each time I do I enjoy myself. I’d love to be around the community more, overall, and what better way than to join it?

Which role are you applying for?
Psychiatrist

What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?

Hospital Director
───── ⊱ ❤︎ ⊰ ─────
The director is in charge of it all! This person manages most of the staff in the hospital and is overall the lead! They’re the heart of the hospital.

Emergency Branch (Paramedic Branch)
───── ⊱ ❤︎ ⊰ ─────
Roles in this subdivision handle almost everything, being the most experience! In a sense, they have more power than Doctors or Psychiatrists. Dealing with fractures, broken bones, stab wounds, surgery and anything else that a patient could need, including therapy, since they are trained in all aspects! This role also has the ability to answer calls, meaning they’re allowed to leave the hospital to help a patient, perhaps driving them in an ambulance!

⋆。‧˚ʚ Chief Paramedic ɞ˚‧。⋆
This role is in charge of managing the Paramedic/Emergency Branch. They provide leadership and help to those below them, as well as fulfilling their role being a paramedic.

⋆。‧˚ʚ Deputy Chief Paramedic ɞ˚‧。⋆
The deputy is just how it sounds, one role under the chief. They often take over for them in their absence and work normally otherwise.

⋆。‧˚ʚ Paramedic ɞ˚‧。⋆
This role is given to those who have devoted time and effort to the faction, learning both the Doctor and Psychiatrist roles. They are highly trained and can help most anyone who comes into the hospital, ready to take on whatever is thrown at them head first!

⋆。‧˚ʚ Paramedic Trainee ɞ˚‧。⋆
This role is given to someone who is in training to become a Paramedic, formerly having been a Doctor or Psychiatrist, applying to go forth with more training to increase their knowledge. They learn from those above them, just like any other trainee. A paramedic trainee may do some things a paramedic does, though they are less experienced.

Doctor Branch
───── ⊱ ❤︎ ⊰ ─────
Roles in this subdivision deal with most of the injuries, being trained particularly for such situations! From minor injuries to the majors of a stab wound or broken leg, they are capable of performing surgeries once they’ve made it higher in the hierarchy, making them vital to physical health.

⋆。‧˚ʚ Doctor Clinicial Lead ɞ˚‧。⋆
Most Clinical Leads are in a sense the same, only difference being that they lead different subdivisions and master in different parts of medical care. A clinical lead in this division watches over the doctor’s and is skilled at performing aid in patients that are injured!

⋆。‧˚ʚ Attending Doctor ɞ˚‧。⋆
This doctor has more experience than any doctor below them and is most suited to deal with injuries. Overall, they have learned more and proven to excel in what they do over their time in the faction! They might be able to assist others under them in the hierarchy.

⋆。‧˚ʚ Senior Doctor Resident ɞ˚‧。⋆
A senior doctor resident is right above doctor resident, providing patient care in the same way any other doctor would, only differing by experience and position!

⋆。‧˚ʚ Doctor Resident ɞ˚‧。⋆
They work normally as a doctor, having graduated from doctor training, moving forward to progress and gain knowledge while experiencing the faction first-hand for themselves. In the case that they still need help, though, there are ranks above them that can give them the guidance they need!

⋆。‧˚ʚ Doctor Trainee ɞ˚‧。⋆
This role is a trainee, having freshly been accepted into the faction. The next step for them is going through their training period and learning all they can! This includes attending training and getting to know their coworkers.

Psychiatrist Branch
───── ⊱ ❤︎ ⊰ ─────
In this subdivision, the focus is mental health and well-being. These roles help those who come in seeking therapy or diagnosis for a disorder. They’re able to deal with emotion and have been especially trained in learning disorders and mental health conditions.

⋆。‧˚ʚ Psychiatrist Clinical Lead ɞ˚‧。⋆
This clinical lead again, is in a similar position as the doctor clinical lead. They differ by their subdivisions, this role leading the psych division. This role specializes in mental health, instead of injuries!

⋆。‧˚ʚ Attending Psychiatrist ɞ˚‧。⋆
This role has gained knowledge and been promoted over time, having similar abilities to those below them. They’ve had necessarily more experience and are more knowledgeable when it comes to psychiatry.

⋆。‧˚ʚ Senior Psychiatrist Resident ɞ˚‧。⋆
Senior Resident is only one role above Resident and has similar to near the same capabilities as the role immediately below them. All around, they’ve simply been honored for their time and their contributions, landing them in the position to help residents and trainees.

⋆。‧˚ʚ Psychiatrist Resident ɞ˚‧。⋆
This role has been promoted from trainee to resident. They haven’t learned everything there is to know, yet, but they’ve definitely made a mark by completing their training! Roles above them can help them with the next steps further into fulfilling their time in the faction.

⋆。‧˚ʚ Psychiatrist Trainee ɞ˚‧。⋆
Another trainee role, being accepted into the faction recently. In the same way doctor trainees move forward to attend training, they do as well, except they don’t attend things injury related for training and instead attend training that teaches them how to deal with their specialty; psychiatry.

(I still have much to learn about the faction as a whole, but this is what I’ve learned and heard over my time being interested in the faction, along with a few additional things I researched!)

Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are expected to attend or you will be punished?
I acknowledge that I will be expected to attend training if online!

SECTION 1: PERSONAL DETAILS

Character’s Full Name:

Cove led with a charming smile, crossing her legs in her seat, “My name’s Hayami Cove.” Her left hand extended forward for a hand shake, as if she’d practiced this for minutes before she came in.

Character’s Gender and Pronouns:
“I’m a female and She/Her pronouns work!”

Character’s Age (if accepted):
“I’m thirty years old this upcoming July, so twenty-nine now!”

Character’s Academic Background:
“I’m proud to say that I have a Master’s degree in Psychiatry!” Hayami’s smile grew double as she mentioned her achievements, considering she worked very diligently for them.

Character’s Nationality:
“I’m Japanese and African-American!”

Character’s Marital Status:
Hayami nodded towards the question before answering, wondering if there really was a wrong answer, “I’ve never been romantically inclined, so single.” Afterwards, she rubbed her thumb over her opposite hand's knuckles, preparing for the next question with an anxious smile.

Character’s Religious Denomination:
The woman’s head tilted, never having considered religion, “I’ve never looked into it - so I’m unsure, and not religious.” Her head leveled correctly again, holding her chin high, businesswoman-like, as she fixed her sleeve slightly, mustering up all of her professional traits.

Character’s Spoken Languages:
“I speak Japanese, and that’s all, unfortunately,” Hayami had never been interested in learning another language, silently wondering if it had been a requirement for the position and she’d missed it. Her eye contact remained comfortably while she did, not wanting to show any hesitance.

1781061561207.png

Character Backstory (Optional):
Hayami was born in Osaka, Japan. Her family was small, her father, mother, and her. As an only child, she was often with a nanny or caretaker, not a parent. Hayami saw her mother and father on special occasions and late at night when they were coming home from work, both in medical care as surgeons with no time to spare. This was normal to the young girl, nothing outstanding, simply a way of life.

As Hayami grew, she was expected to excel in her studies and extracurriculars, being held on a schedule daily. She never disagreed or asked for a break, only doing as asked. Her parents were only keen to hire a tutor and attend her concerts, performative to be there for any school event, yet never home for their daughter.

Only by the time Hayami turned sixteen did she realize a flaw in her parenting, they weren’t around. Her parents bought her a car, and she never celebrated her birthdays alone, yet those were only publicity stunts, always being posed next to another expensive gift she never asked for.

Hayami didn’t decide to rebel like most other friends her age urged her to, she simply distanced herself. Studying? With a friend. Gone at night? Her parents wouldn’t know anyways. She lived her junior and senior year out with people who were there for her, friends she met and other families that took her in when she felt like her home wasn’t one.

Graduation Day finally came and Hayami couldn’t have been more excited, not for the praise from her parents putting up an act at the ceremony, but for what college had to offer her. She knew that once she’d finished college she’d be free to find her own way in life and not live off of a schedule, studying at her own pace and to actually enjoy what she was learning.

A few months after she’d gotten her high school diploma, Hayami was accepted into a college she’d applied to, The University of Osaka. She pursued the medical field just like her parents had hoped, not for them anymore, but for herself and for how she learned others could make a difference, in her own experience of neglect.

SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY

What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?

Hayami’s medical speciality is in Psychiatry for obvious reasons, aiming to work as a Psychiatrist she knew it’d be crucial for the role she wanted to fill. She chose this specialty due to the fear that being a surgeon or doctor would be far too gory for her, along with the representation she’d had of the roles having no time at home, which she didn’t strive for!

Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
Hayami has yet to experience the medical field, only knowing what she’s been taught during her college programs, knowing nothing of what Psychiatrists did on a day to day, besides for her shadowing that was required for her degree.

SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE

Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?

───── ⊱ ❤︎ ⊰ ─────
1781061372480.png
───── ⊱ ❤︎ ⊰ ─────
The young woman’s brown eyes tracked your movements carefully, approachable and reassuring. Her lips had a soft pink lipstick covering them, curving into a smile often, dimples revealing in an endearing way. The woman smelled sweetly of coconut, noticeable but not overpowering. Her angel bite piercing on her lips definitely made her stand out, alluring and a sample to who she was, someone who was bold enough to get a piercing like that! She always tried to provide a positive atmosphere if it was in her body language or simply in the way she positioned herself next to others in most situations, a kind set of listening ears or another pair of helpful eyes.

How does your character act around the hospital?
Hayami’s almost always seeking for a conversation with someone, or another person to simply sit next to. While she doesn’t carry herself with blatant confidence, she strives to be known as a friendly face to her coworkers and anyone who enters the hospital. Her least favorite thing is to make someone feel not included when she’s around, so she’d probably introduce herself to anyone she could!

Does your character function better on their own or with others?
Hayami functions much better with others, loving a team to come up with solutions. While Hayami proves to be very smart with her straight A lifestyle, her intentions are always to find another person to go through things together. Her skills hold up well alone, but she often doubts her ability to perform new tasks alone or without guidance.

Firstly, thank you for applying to the Hospital Faction, and we appreciate your interest. However, after discussing your application with the higher-ups, we have unfortunately decided to deny your application this time around as we feel other applications stood out more.

Nonetheless, we encourage you to keep an eye on the Karakura Emergency #announcements channel for future application waves, and to re-apply at a later date if you're still interested.
