Bring back the Bowling Alley!

Neutral. While it was a cool spot to hang at, it was usually dead. Practically never saw anyone use it. However I do admit that it’s a cool spot but I completely disagree with making a bowling team. Rolling 10, 10 times is not something entertaining to watch. Wouldn’t mind seeing the bowling alley added again, cool place.

It was really only used for its parking lot for car show offs [that is if it wasn't done in the beach parking lot] with the occasional greenie group going in there. It was a cool place but it was so hardly ever used, there's better things that could go in the space imo.

Heartbroken to hear that my top #1 place to romanceRP was gone. The only question I have is where you want to build it if this gets accepted?

Bring my baby, the bowling alley back please it was my favorite thing to do in SRP, this isn't a suggestion,
it's a cry for help.​
The bowling alley was a place that made for good roleplay and IRL fun! It was also just something to do instead of just running or sitting around town which is what I feel a lot of people do. I also believe it was a good place for newcomers to practice detailrp as well as get familiar with the /roll command. DARE I EVEN SUGGEST A POSSIBLE BOWLING TEAM! no too soon okay then.

Genuinely though, I was gutted, stunned, flabbergasted, bewildered, dumbfounded, yes i googled synonyms of shocked, when I found out the bowling alley was gone. Pretty please give it back! ​

How will this benefit the server and community?:
The bowling alley would provide an interactive spot to hang out in and it will just be FUN! BRING BACK FUN!

As someone who’s played SRP for around 5 years now and was also a builder who worked on the new Shopping District I am unsure. My reasons? I never saw anyone using it. Back in 2022 there were a lot of people there and it was a small hot spot to meet friends and hang out, but that was because a dedicated group of people wanted to see it flourish. While I can see the nostalgia it brought people and some may want it to be returned, I don’t think it was used enough and ultimately was removed. I am not against it, however maybe it shouldn’t be where it was and instead moved to live under a residential block or somewhere else. Like a basement bowling alley! Tucked away maybe under a building down an ally. But, I don’t think it will be returning to its original place. I am not against it, but I also don’t see it being used anymore. I can understand the appeal but there could be a lot more done and for it to be actively used. The maps updated to stick with the new style but also to give more points of interest for players, if it’s not used it’s ultimately removed and something else is placed there. Maybe it can return in a new spot, but the choice to use the space for something else was a good decision in my eyes. Again, not against it, but maybe it wasn’t the right place and it can instead be relocated to somewhere else and updated!

I think the bowling alley could replace the movie theater in Business Park. Bowling is different, because you can RP playing and then roll for your score. There's also an opportunity for a plugin. The movie theater however is dark and what- you sit there AFK pretending to watch something? If people want to have watch parties, you can do that with discord + TVs at home. Point being, there's already a place where the bowling alley can work out: Business park!
