I’m online almost everyday, the most times I am not seen on the server is when I have to do school work. I usually like to be on from 12PM to 4AM on weekends, 3PM to 11PM on weekdays.

School Employee Role you are applying for?:
I’m applying for the role of a Caretaker.

In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for
The caretaker role is responsible for keeping the school safe, clean, and secure. They escort kids to classes, clean up messes when called by other faculty, and break up fights whenever there is one. They patrol around school all throughout their shift, making sure nothing bad is happening during schooltime. They maintain a safe environment for the kids. They start their shift at 7:30, and it ends at 3:00, though they can stay and deal with anything after that time.


What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I’ve been roleplaying and making characters since I was around the age of 9, so I would say that I’m a pretty experienced roleplayer. I have also gotten way more experience upon joining SRP. During my time on SRP, I was introduced to more forms of roleplay. Ranging from normal rping to GangRP, all the way to detailed p2ling.

Situations

During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:


Elias would take a deep breath, calming himself down. Once he was calm, he would turn to the student and let the student know that the school faculty works really hard to make sure the student body has a safe time while gaining their education. Making sure to let the student know to respect all of the employees, since he is treated with respect. After the student acknowledged they were in the wrong, he would let them off with the warning, since they were using vulgar language. If he heard the student then went to other faculty and started saying those hurtful things again, he would not hesitate to report the student and give them a detention.

You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:

Elias would come in between the fight trying to stop it, if the fight is stopped after he has said a few words then he would take the students into the nurse’s office. If both students are harmed and have visible blood or wounds, he would quickly try to calm down both students before waiting for the nurse to come treat them.

Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
Elias would quickly report it to a higher up, if there is no higher up there then he would handle it very calmly. He would correct what the employee would be doing. He would teach the other employee how to behave as an adult. He would then start to watch over what that employee would be doing. He would make sure that the employee would not return to the bad behavior.
If the situation gets worse in any way, Elias would radio SLT to attempt to stop them.

When in the employee break room, how does your character act?

In the breakroom, Elias would keep to himself for the most part. Of course, he would participate in conversation if he was invited, but he was perfectly fine in his own company. Sitting in the breakroom, he would help himself to a cup of coffee and offer some to everyone else who was in the room. Making sure that everyone was acknowledged before he sat down and read a book to himself. Setting it down when someone spoke to him, so he could focus on the person in front of him. After the conversation, he would wish everyone a nice day and went back on duty, patrolling the hallways and the outside of school, making sure the school was safe

/me He would run over to the two students who were fighting on the ground. Putting himself between them, he would separate them from one another. “Enough of this! Both of you have detention!” He would raise his radio to his mouth and would then ask for assistance. Once he got some help, he would take them to the nurses office so they could get treated.

/me He would hear a teacher on the radio calling for a mess in their classroom. Grabbing his spray bottle, broom, and anything else he needed. Afterwards, he would make his way to the classroom. Once he arrived, he was shown the mess. A student had thrown up and was already escorted to the nurses office. He would begin to clean the mess, making it as if the mess was gone when he finished.

/me He would see a student running down the hall with a mask on. Knowing it was against the rules, he would approach the student, gently tapping on their shoulder. “Excuse me, you are breaking the rules by wearing the mask. Please take it off. If I catch you with it again, I will have to confiscate it and give you detention for it.” After watching the student take off the mask, he would let them go and went back to his patrol.

Backstory

On January 15th, 1994, Elias Koijin was born in Stavanger, Norway. His family was a lower middle class family. Elias’ mother was a very clean person, always making sure the house was neat and tidy. This caused Elias to clean a lot as he grew up, even if everything was already organized and clean. All throughout his school career, he would help clean the classroom after class ended. Even in highschool, he would continue to clean everything, from school bathrooms, desks, and lunch tables. After graduating from highschool, he attended community college. Once he started his studies, he had to put aside his cleaning habits a bit to focus on school.
He majored in psychology, since he was curious about the human brain, and wanted to know more about people and why they behave the way they did. He also minored literature and human sciences, to further his studies into people, as well as learning more about the world through literature. Once he graduated in 2015, he moved to Karakura, Japan. There, he lived with his younger brother in his apartment. Once he got there, he started looking for jobs, wanting to support himself and his brother financially. Deciding on applying to become a caretaker at Karakura Highschool and Community College.

Motivation for Joining KHS:
My motivation for joining KHS was so I could help keep a safe environment for the student body. I want to be a role model for the students and inspire them to be their best selves. Knowing how dangerous this town is, a positive figure could stop someone from straying to the wrong path. I know that I can be that figure, and I can relate to many things these students are going through, and can empathize with situations I am not familiar with.

Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
I should be accepted over other applications due to me being able to make the school a better place, by devoting my time and energy to the school. I will be able to affect the students in a positive way, making them grow to be better people in the long run. Inspiring them to work hard and become a productive member of society. I am a perfect fit for this position, and will be able to keep my positive attitude at all times.
