I play almost every day on my Grade 12 Tag Character. I'm very active in the SRP community and would be able to open a store multiple times in just 7 days, if not even every day. My activity has always been a whole lot on the server, though I am currently still in college in real life, however I manage to juggle my responsibilities well.

In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
Simply speaking, The Librarian role is an important role in the school, as they spend their time making sure the library is in working order, managing and taking care of a conducive learning environment within the school. This means that the library is clean, properly organized, and most importantly safe. They’re allowing the students access to the library's resources, assisting students and teachers in their research, and supporting the love for reading and lifelong learning. Librarians are also in charge of things such as handing out library cards and making sure books are turned in on time, meaning that they monitor the ins and outs of school library books.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I have been playing private RP since 2018 in several Discord servers and a few private Minecraft Servers, including an OriginSMP Version. I started playing SRP around January 2022 (I think) and have been playing actively since. I have a lot of experience in the overall majority such as RomanceRP, and FamilyRP. I have been playing MazeRP since 2023 as well.
Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
My main motivation to apply for the school employee faction is that I want to expand my horizon when it comes to roleplaying on SRP. I am currently working on expanding my experience on FamilyRP, and would also like to expand into FacultyRP. Since the school is basically half, if not more, of this roleplay server, I see this as a great opportunity experiencing the perspective of a school employee.

During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
Kentaro stays calm, telling the student that they shouldn't be disrespectful towards faculty. If the student decides to continue to be disrespectful, Kentaro would give out a verbal warning, firmly reminding the student again that they shouldn't continue to be disrespectful. If the student keeps going, he’d tell them to stop in a more authoritative tone, speaking out a second warning. If the student continues to run their mouth, Kentaro actively tells the student to watch their tone, mentioning detention if they don’t stop being disrespectful towards faculty. If the student wants to push their luck again and comment upon it, Kentaro would pull out a detention slip, handing it to the student and telling them that they should think about how they treat others. However, When the student began being reasonable after the first warnings, Kentaro would calmly ask the student why they decided to start cursing at him, trying to find a solution for the students problems or issues they might have.
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
Kentaro would get between the two students fighting without hesitation or second thoughts, authoritatively demanding the students to get away from each other, making sure that the two students know that he’s well aware of what’s happening at the moment. When he’d step between both students to make sure that they would not continue the fight, he’d then try to assess the situation, taking note of the events and involved parties. If both students still continued to fight, he'd use his walkie talkie to inform other school faculty of the situation, making it clear to the brawling students that there were other faculty on their way. If both students stopped fighting beforehand, Kentaro would go ahead and hand them both a detention slip with a disappointed look on his face.
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
Kentaro would stop them and calmly tell them that what they’re doing can cause potential harm to the co-workers or other students. He’d then give the co-worker suggestions on telling them a safer way to do the task at hand. After a solution was found together, Kentaro firmly reminded them that the co-worker can’t be that reckless around students because they are role models for students.
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
When Kentaro is inside the employee break room, he'd stay quiet and by himself, often being seen near the kitchen or neatly preparing papers for the library. When being approached by others, Kentaro would be pretty outgoing and talkative. Kentaro would see his co-workers as just that, offering advice and/or help if needed on a professional level. If Kentaro finds himself alone inside the break room, he'd use his free time on reading his favorite book which oddly enough had a dog paw on its cover.

/me would sit behind the computer, sighing heavily as his shift slowly came to an end. He rolled up his sleeves and stretched his arms above his head, causing some joints to make a crack sound. He forced himself out of his chair, grabbing the books that had been returned over the day. He left the desk and sorted the books away in the respective shelves, yawning whilst doing so. Once he finally finished the shift, he ran a hand through his hair, disheveling it. He grabbed his bag and threw it over his shoulder, leaving the library.
/me would walk into the teachers lounge, greeting his fellow coworkers. He put his bag on a chair before walking to the coffee machine, fixing his tie on the way. He chose to make himself a double cappuccino with a shot of milk and two cubes of sugar. He plopped himself down onto the chair, mug in hand. He looked at his coworkers, starting some small talk as everyone slowly stumbled into the teachers lounge.
/me would dust and restock the shelves, lost in his mind as he made sure every book was arranged neatly on its respective shelf. He hummed quietly to himself, pulling a book from the shelf and dusting its cover. He suddenly flinched and tensed a bit as a student touched him on the shoulder. He sighed and chuckled, startled that they snuck up on him like that. He gave them a warm smile. “Hey kiddo, how can I help ya?”

Kentaro Nakazumi was born on October 13th, 1993. He lived in Minami-Azabu, a district in Tokyo, Japan for the vast majority of his childhood with his mother, Aki Nakazumi.
His father’s identity remained unknown to him due to him passing away on duty in a war. His Mother was owner of a small flower shop not far from their home, giving him a sense of responsibility rather quickly. He'd teach himself the ways of life and help her mother at work or at home throughout his school time. His Mother obliged but often commented on his Son's lack of ability to interact with others. Kentaro had taken his Mother’s words to heart and began trying to socialize with his classmates more often.

His naturally stern, almost detached expression which he inherited from his father cost him to mostly look annoyed in his high school years but his personality revealed moments of warmth and cheeky behaviour when he was around people he felt comfortable with. At the age of 18, his Aunt gifted him something for his high-school graduation. A female German Shepherd puppy who he named Riley. Raising her became one of his greatest joys in life, making her his loyal fluffy friend for the years to come. She was walking beside him on daily walks, curled up beside him at long reading sessions or even watching him as he danced to music in their kitchen while preparing breakfast. After graduating high school and enrolling in college, his small yet very supportive friend group pushed Kentaro to become more used to making new friends and getting along with more people in general. He eventually graduated college with a Masters’s Degree in Literature with his best friend Arekkusu. After graduation, Kentaro took on various part time, one time or even odd jobs to keep himself busy while figuring out what he should do with his newly obtained masters degree.

When Riley passed away from old age, just before her 12th birthday, Kentaro was grieving deeply but the bond shaped how he valued loyalty and quiet companionship. The loss of Riley also deepened his appreciation for memories and legacies, just as she had left pawprints on his heart as well as on his favourite book. With a heavy heart and a grim expression, he enlisted in the Military and fought for his country for 2 years. During the time at the Military, Kentaro did learn about his father after 29 long years. With his still grieving heart and his quiet determination to uphold the Nakazumi family name, he was doing his absolute best to make sure his mother had reasons to be proud of him. After the second year at the Military, Kentaro realized he wanted a life centered around knowledge yet with a quiet but meaningful impact, going back to the roots and hobbies. With the knowledge of his grandfather being in Karakura, Kentaro chose to leave the Military to move onto the Island, looking for Job opportunities there.

After settling in a small apartment he could afford with the money he had gathered over time in the Military, Kentaro struck metaphorical gold. He got accepted as a Librarian at the “Enchanted Quill Publishing” service. A few months in, Kentaro has gotten more used to his surroundings, understanding his tasks and how he has to act around different people. But something deep down made him feel unfulfilled. He wanted to make a difference centered around knowledge with a quiet but meaningful impact. He wanted to create a space where people could find the same comfort and spark that had guided him all those years ago. And after a little while he found himself ready for his Job interview at Karakura High.
Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
I’ve always loved reading ever since I was young, every time I’d sit in my room and be lost in my own world. I’m aware that not many children nowadays like to read, but I want to give them the opportunity to. I appreciate children that seek out knowledge and love books just as much as I do. I could spend the whole day in a library and KHS was my first choice, considering its great reputation and huge library.
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
One main reason I should be accepted over the other candidates for the position is that I have a lot of experience and knowledge being a librarian to bring to the table. I have a passion for reading and literature in general. I will ensure that all the books and materials in the library are taken care of and looked after. I would be honoured to be a part of the Karakura Faculty Team.
