Backstory: Johnathan was born to a now-rich family in Sacramento, California in August of 2001, four years after his sister Jennifer. He was adventurous and playful in his early childhood. At the age of six, it became apparent that his family was struggling with financial trouble and, lacking money, he was often dressed in his sister's hand-me-downs when his own clothes became dirty or tattered, despite being adamant about being a boy. This often included princess t-shirts, short skirts, dresses, and other articles of clothing. While his parents became more and more desperate with finances, Johnathan himself grew attached to his sister's old clothes.
A big breakthrough occurred with his family at the age of 12, when his father James accomplished the most unlikely achievement: willing big in a contest, earning a hefty first place prize of 12.3 million dollars. With debts finally paid off, the family offered to take Johnathan shopping for more appropriate clothes for his gender, to which he quickly turned the offer down, saying that despite being a boy, he found much comfort in his sister's old clothes, and how it brought him closer to her, and would probably feel weird being in boy's clothes again after so long. This would be one of many cues that showed what kind of person Johnathan truly was at heart.
Despite the occasional teasing from bullies, he persevered, earning straight As and staying out of trouble. Many girls in his class liked his fashion sense, and the odd boy even asked for his help in some things. It wasn't until he saw a friend badly beaten in a fight that he decided to become a doctor later in life, picking up medical textbooks as early as 14 and learning the trade on his own.
