Yes, I do acknowledge that if I am inactive I will be demoted.

School Employee Role you are applying for?:
I am applying for the chef role.

In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
A school chef's role is to prepare and serve breakfast and lunch to students while they attend school. Other staff members may also be served. Chefs are responsible for preparing meals that meet nutritional guidelines or dietary needs. They may also be involved in other duties like monitoring the halls and making sure that there are no fights between students. If they come across fighting students or other bad behavior, they can hand out detentions just like other staff.

What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I started to learn about roleplay in early childhood while watching different YouTubers roleplay. I became interested in it and soon found various, not so good Roblox roleplay games. I forget the names of a lot of the older ones. About a year into roleplaying on Roblox games I discovered SchoolRP on YouTube. It looked pretty fun, so when I finally got my hands on a PC, I immediately went to find the website and how to join. Somewhere in late 2021 I joined SchoolRP, and obviously I struggled to understand what was going on as a greenie, but soon I found some amazing people who showed me the way. But being a human was hard; I struggled to socialize online for the longest time. That was when I discovered animal whitelists and proceeded to play for about two years as a cat, raccoon, and dog. I never really DetailRPed as a cat, just a lot of running around with people. However, I did apply to become a service dog and was able to experience a whole new type of roleplay while being that dog. Sadly, I randomly quit SchoolRP for reasons that I don't remember. That's when I got back into Roblox roleplay games. I found one called Warrior Cats Ultimate Edition. In this made-up world, I started to enjoy DetailRP, even with the limited Roblox chat space. I spent quite some time playing WCUE before I finally remembered SRP and decided to come back in mid 2025? I don't remember the exact dates. At this point I was a lot more outgoing than I was the last time I had played. So, I made an actual human character and really got into DetailRPing. I enjoyed my return so much I have made eighteen human characters, each an entirely new person. Duh. I also made animal characters with unique character traits. (A one horned goat named Unicorn, how creative.) Between the time I came back and now, I have experienced so many different roleplay scenarios, some more interesting than others. I have also experienced many different roleplay styles which have been really cool to see and experience.

Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
I have never been in any faction before, and I think it would be cool to experience the roleplay that comes with being a chef. I love having and making roleplay opportunities, so being a chef would open doors to many different roleplay situations. Maybe it's interacting with students from a different perspective, or maybe it's doing DetailRP in and outside of school. I also can't lie I would like to be able to pay my rent without fishing for endless amounts of time. Being an adult would be great too as it also opens up more doors for roleplay.

/*Do not mention use of FearRP*/

During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
Sinon would be shocked at this random outburst, why would a student start cursing at someone who made them food? That was ridiculous to her! She would turn around, leaving whatever she was doing to look at the cursing student, taking in what they looked like. Then the question came, "Why would you say that? It's uncalled for, and if you do it again consequences will come your way." Her tone would be serious, leaving no room for them to think she was joking. Their reply would determine how she went about things. If they choose to apologize, then she will not give them detention and will tell them to not talk to people that way. If they choose the opposite route and continue to curse at her, she will warn them again, this time her tone like a sharpened blade. "Don't talk to people that way, this is your second and final warning before I give you detention." Upon them continuing, she would give them a detention slip before going back and continuing what she was doing. Well, what if they still continue even after being given detention? Then SLT will be involved unless they can calm themselves down.

You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
While patrolling the hallway, Sinon's eyes would fall onto an altercation between two students, one where fists had already flown. Moving more quickly, heels clacking loudly on the floor, her hand would find the radio, and she would immediately call other staff members to assist her in breaking up the fight. Making herself loud and clear, she would command them to separate. "Break it up!" If the students decided to listen to her, she would hand them detentions before asking if either of them needed medical attention. With punches being thrown, it was likely. So, she would walk them to the nurse's office, making sure they didn't start another fight and got the care they needed. But if the students did not listen to her and continued to throw punches at each other, she would attempt to split them up. Whether that was by dragging one away from the other or getting between the two, it didn't matter to her. What mattered to her was the safety of each student, so breaking up the fight was very important in her mind. Hopefully by that point another staff member had arrived to assist with the scene. Regardless of what happened, each student would get a detention slip.

Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
Sinon noticed a coworker that she didn't know too well acting inappropriately. At first, she couldn't believe her eyes because why would they be doing that? In school? As a staff member? Calmly, she would approach them, and no matter how many questions she wanted to ask them, she would stick to reminding them of the rules instead. But even so, staff members who are around youth and young adults should not be setting a bad example. No student should be able to witness them doing such dangerous actions within the school. Sinon would not only remind them of the rules, but she would also make them an offer, her voice remaining calm. One way or another, higher ups would be informed. Whether it was her coworker chose to do it on their own, informing their higher ups about the issue in their own words, or Sinon doing it brutally. Of course, she would give them at least a day to get their thoughts on what they were going to do together. Either way, they would not be escaping responsibility! It was not her choice on if that person got fired or not, it was their own decision making that led them to this point.

When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
With people
Usually, Sinon would be pretty hard for people to approach because of her sharp, serious facial expressions. She was actually a kind, outgoing person though, so often times she would be the one having to approach her coworkers. When walking into the employee break room, Sinon would notice the face of someone she should know, and her eyes would sparkle with excitement. Click clack click clack, her heels would make her presence known. She would get close enough to engage with the person sitting with their nose in their phone. "Hello! I don't think we've met before. I'm Sinon Naoi and I work as a chef here." Her smile would be big, showing off her average, yet awfully straight teeth. Honestly, it was eerie but welcoming at the same time. The person would reply to her, and then she would ask to sit across or next to them. After sitting, if they agreed, she would reach her hand out, offering a handshake. Now, usually Japanese people bowed rather than doing the American thing and shaking hands, but for some reason it was pretty common in Karakura. While they shook hands, she would appreciate their features. Now in a much more positive voice, she would speak again. "Nice to meet you!" She would overall seem pretty excited, and they would hopefully spend their breaktime talking and becoming friends. Overall, she would definitely try speaking to anyone present in the room, unless they gave clear signs they wanted to be left alone.

With no people
Sinon would click clack her way into the empty break room, how unfortunate, no one to yap the ears off of. Heaving her overly heavy purse off of her shoulder onto the table, she would pull out a book about some random topic. She really liked to learn new things, especially random things that not many people cared about. She would take a seat, and as if an instinct, one leg would cross over the other. Not even thinking twice about her position or her book choice, she would flip the pages to where she left off, eyes scanning the pages. An occasional sip of whatever drink she had that day was necessary, some books really left her mouth dry for some reason. Did that mean they were boring? Who knew. Her eyes would occasionally leave the pages to scan the room. If someone entered the room, she would most definitely wave, nod, or say hello to them, but she would not go to speak with them like usual. Some books were too interesting to put down once opened. The power of knowledge really is strong!

Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:

/me
Would walk into the dim, quiet kitchen with a big yawn. Gosh early mornings could be hard sometimes. Her hand would move to flick the lights on, and she would squint, wishing they could be left off while she cooked. But she was not going to risk some sort of health hazard happening. Once her eyes adjusted to the bright lighting, she would make her way over to where the lunch trays were. With a quick inspection to make sure they were clean, she would make her way over to the fridge to rummage through it and grab materials needed to start breakfast. Bacon, eggs, jelly, and multiple berries would find their way to the counter. Then, she would rummage through cabinets, pulling out toast and syrup. Who knew why that was in the cabinet. Now that the materials were out, she would start the stovetop. and the oven. Duh, they were needed to cook the eggs and bacon. She would then rummage some more, pulling out two different types of pans. Each type was entirely different than the other. One type was a large frying pan, and the other type was a flat baking sheet. Soon, eight different frying pans would find themselves on stovetops. Then she would crack and mix eggs into an omelet mix. They would soon be put into the frying pans to start cooking. While those were going, she would line each of the baking sheets with parchment paper and then multiple strips of bacon. Those would be put into the oven to bake until cooked. A moment would be taken to check on the omelets. Then she would be off to put berries into a strainer to wash with water. Drying the berries was a waste of materials, so she would separate the berries into small bowls for students. Once those were done, she would return to check on the omelets, flipping the ones that needed flipping. Once everything was cooked, she would plate each thing. Making another two batches, students would start flooding the cafeteria. Oh boy. She would sigh, turning off the stove before getting ready to deal with all the orders for lunch. Honestly, these kids had impeccable timing for breakfast.

/me Her eyes would scan over the multitudes of students chowing down on her hard work. It was like a treat to have them all crowd around just to get her food. She felt like a famous chef. Then reality would hit her and she would let out a long sigh. Soon the piles and piles of dishes would come and away the students would go. How sad, they couldn't enjoy her food or their good chats for much longer. With the lick of her lips, she would turn around, going back into the kitchen to clean up whatever messes there was. Frowning, she would find herself upset over the amount of food that had to be thrown away today. It was sad, but where else would freshly cooked bacon and eggs go? With a huff, she would start to move the food containers out of where they were to empty into a large industrial trash can. Once that was over, she would sigh again, clasping her hands together for a moment, deep in thought. But just as quick as she stopped to think, she was back in action. Keeping the kitchen sanitary was extremely important, and that's what she had to do now.

/me Her heels would clack loudly on the floor as she made her way towards the break room with a stray student practically on her heels. For a moment, she thought about continuing walking around the school, instead of having to leave this poor kid alone. But she was tired, making food for a lot of people could be hefty on one person. All she wanted to do was sit down and read her book today. Then the words came from him, a fight? Where? That was all she needed to stop, whipping around to face him. But he was so close, she had to brace herself for impact in case he didn't stop in time. Her round eyes would find the student now, scanning them, looking for any hint of a lie. Nothing. "Where?" Was all she would ask, looking around as if the fight would be there. Once she got an answer, she would ask something else. "How long ago was this?" Her head would tilt slightly as she waited for a reply. This morning? She would sigh, her shoulders relaxing from the tension she didn't know was there. "Okay... Next time you should let a staff member know WHEN the fight is ongoing." But he claimed that he was not going to be a snitch, and her frown would show how disappointed she was. "You shouldn't care about being a snitch. You should care about another student getting hurt." That was all she said before moving away, and just as quickly as she stopped, she would turn on her heels, making her way towards the break room. This time, the student hadn't been on her heels, and she would let out a sigh, happy to not have to explain that only staff could come into the break room.

(Pretend your character is filling this out, not you)

Full Name (First & Last only):
Sinon would offer the interviewer a smile as she entered the room and took a seat in one of the chairs in front of their desk. One of her legs would cross over the other, and she would introduce herself. "Hello, I'm Sinon Naio, and I'm here for an interview." She sounded and looked confident, maintaining eye contact with the interviewer.
Title (Mr, Mrs, Miss):
To Sinon, Miss or Mrs. didn't matter too much. But she was not married and wanted to remain professional, so she would reply simply with "Miss is fine with me!"
Preferred Name:
Her eyes would scan the room for a moment before finding the interviewer once again. Taking a moment, she thought about all her nicknames and decided that if a coworker wanted to give her a nickname that would be okay. To remain professional, she would nod her head slowly, "I prefer being called Sinon, though I do not mind nicknames that are given to me."
Age (Minimum is 25):
The question she was waiting for finally came. Her legs would uncross, and she would pull out an I.D. from her purse. "I am twenty-seven years old." Then she would hand them the I.D. which would read 1998, 06, 14. (June 14, 1998). Once they had looked over the I.D. and handed it back to her, she would take a moment to put it back into her wallet which would go back into her purse. After that, her gaze would meet the interviewers.
Gender:
She would blink a few quick times before replying with a simple, "I'm a female and I go by she/her."

Academic Degree:
With a slow nod, she would offer them a smile before replying, "I have bachelor's degree in culinary arts and business, and a master's degree in hospitality management with a focus in restaurant operations."
Major(s):
"I have a major in hospitality management and in culinary arts." She would push her reading classes up, so they were better positioned on her face.
Minors:
With the lick of her lips, she would reach for the coffee she was offered earlier in the interview, it was too hot to drink when it was first given to her. Sipping it, she would continue. "I have a minor in Business management, and a focus in restaurant operations."
Nationality:
"I am Japanese." The answer would come quickly but calmly.
Known Languages:
Sinon's eyes would light up a bit at the mention of languages. She would grin before happily replying. "I am fluent in Japanese, and I am learning how to speak Korean, but I am nowhere near fluent yet. I have a long way to go." She would chuckle a bit before taking another sip of the coffee.

Backstory
Sinon Naio was born to Sota Naio and Machiko Naio in Tokyo’s Chofu district. Her parents were both very kind people who often helped others. They were great role models for a young girl. But they were also very busy people on top of that. Her mother, Machiko, worked as a veterinarian helping animals daily, and her father Sota owned a small restaurant, working as an only employee. Nothing too interesting happened throughout Sinon's life, most things were just regular occurrences that you would forget in a month or year. She did remember starting school in the Chofu district and making friends with a bunch of other little girls. Some stayed friends with her until she got to adulthood, and others faded away into the past. Overall, Sinon had a great upbringing, heck, her parents even had another child after her begging them for a sibling. By the time she was nine, her little sister was brought into the world. During pregnancy, Machiko struggled greatly, even almost dying in the process. The doctors told her that if she had more children she would most definitely die. That was a scare, but two girls would be enough for their family. Sota and Machiko would name their second daughter Mikazuki. Sinon’s mother took a break from work taking maternity leave, but even that didn’t really make enough money for their family to live with a newborn. They didn’t realize how expensive a newborn really was since they weren't an extremely common thing in Japan and oh boy did prices rise in nine years. Sato decided he would start to bring Sinon to work, maybe that would draw in some new customers. Oh how right he was. His little restaurant was never a busy place since it was crammed between other, more known and busy places. It really was unfortunate, but luckily for him, he had a cute and outgoing daughter. With Sinon going to the shop, there were more customers than ever, even if there were only a few people. Soon, after enough asking and pleading with her cute round eyes, her father would give in and allow her to learn the innings of the kitchen. She had learned some pretty cool things that involved cooking. At this point, she knew the basics very well. Sinon would continue to go to work with her father until she eventually went to college to get a bachelor’s in culinary arts. By the end of her first year, her father had been shot outside of his shop. It was a misfire; an officer had pulled the trigger on accident. He was a cadet, scared and lost from his training officer in a pursuit. Some hooded guy outside rummaging around should not have been the target. He was a civilian outside on a cold day! Sato didn’t make it. The emergency vehicle didn’t get to the scene on time. Though he was alive in the ambulance, they were too late. His injuries were far too horrible to be repaired in an ambulance. He had practically bled out by the time they got there. Sinon had no knowledge of these events until her father had actually passed away. Getting the call of a frantic, heartbroken mother was one of the worst things in her life. Holy shit, her dad was dead! This was devastating to the whole family, none of them got to say goodbye, he was gone. But Sinon couldn’t give up, she had to continue living her life no matter how hard it was to keep going. Now she HAD to continue on the road she was on. Her father had never gone to college, so he didn’t actually know how to run a restaurant. Machiko had decided to sell the building, it held too many memories that she did not want to remember. Sinon fought with her, claiming that she could keep the place up and running. Machiko told her daughter that she had no decision in this. Upset as she was with her mother, future Sinon appreciated her mother not letting her choose. If she had continued to run the restaurant, she would not have continued her bachelor’s or even started a master’s. Who knew if the restaurant would have even survived anyways. Pushing through, she would earn her bachelor's in culinary arts and business with flying colors. But that wasn’t the end, she would continue on to get herself a master's in hospitality management with a focus in restaurant operations. Girl bossing her way through college, she would finally finish. By the age of 27, she would be done with college, only to get invited to visit Karakura by one of her childhood friends. What a beautiful town! And there was a large school too, maybe they needed a chef. Sinon would fly back home to Tokyo, her mother and younger sister were happy to have her back unharmed. After a few days of the pretty town being on her mind, she would finally look into possible positions. Sure, she could try being a chef for a restaurant, but she wasn’t willing to do that just yet. Finding an application to become a chef at Karakura High School, she would look into it and was happy to find out she met the requirements. She might even be overqualified for the job, but even so, she would apply. Minus well!

Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
She would nod a bit at this question; it was clear she was thinking pretty hard about what words to use. Then she would take one last sip of the coffee before returning it to the table. "I was going to make up some picture-perfect answer to tell you, but I decided that being truthful was the best and only way to go." She would clear her throat. "When I was nineteen, my father got shot just outside of his restaurant and ever since then I have had my head on a swivel in fear of those weapons. As a young adult I could not really take over the restaurant, plus my mother wanted to sell it to get rid of whatever bad memories resided." She would pause for a moment, taking a small breath before continuing. "So there went my future plans of continuing on his restaurant. I was nearing the end of my first year in college when all of that happened too, so I couldn't just give up. Actually, I never knew about Karakura until one of my childhood friends dragged me here to look at who knows what. Some shrine; I guess." She would blink a few times, smiling softly at the memory. "That's when we saw some delinquents with bats and other weapons, I had asked her why they would go hand to hand when... they could use long range weapons. And that's when she told me that firearms were not here. At first, I didn't believe her, how could that be a thing? But she was correct. So, I looked into this town a bit more online and decided to give applying to be a chef a try, why not? The worst that can happen is you rejecting me." She'd nod again before lifting the coffee from the table to her lips. "This town seems quiet enough and I would like to make sure that the youth and young adults around here are getting fed and are getting nutritional foods. Good food leads to good growth. We don't need these kids to grow up unhealthy!" Her soft smile would return before she spoke yet again. "Plus, why not make kids like going to school if they get good food. I used to hate going to school because their food sucked and I would be hungry for most of the day until I got home. I would like to be there and provide for the students, and the staff."
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
"Hmm, that's a great but difficult question!" She would pause for a moment. "I believe you should choose me over other applicants because I am knowledgeable in culinary stuff, I mean I have both a bachelor's and a master's involved in culinary stuff. I am also extremely motivated to cook, I love cooking, especially for other people to enjoy. If I am able to make students' days better because of a simple meal, that would be amazing!" She would take in a short breath; it was clear she had thought of something else to add when her eyes lit up. "I also think that I work good with kids and other people. Seeing it's important to be good with kids as a school staff member, I think that is a good quality. I have the patience of a saint, so rowdy children won't be getting on my nerves!"
