Out-Of-Character Information

What is your Minecraft username?
: PizzacutterRp

Do you have Discord (If so, what is your discord username?): Arctic_Fears#5729

How old are you? (Optional): 21

What is your time zone?: Pdt

Describe your activity on the server: I find myself fairly active on the server. I estimate being online for around 6-7 hours a day.

Have you ever been banned (If yes, when and why?): I was banned for erp on March 1st 2022

Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?: Yes and I’m fully understanding of the consequences.

School Employee Role you are applying for?: Chef

In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for: I’m applying for the role of a chef. A school chef in general is in charge of creating meals for others and making sure there are enough meals for the estimated number of students and or school faculty members. Chefs should keep an eye on the ingredients inventory in order to provide for the next day. They are responsible for checking that any fruits or vegetables are properly washed as well as keeping their workspace clean. They must keep some foodstuffs separated so they will not be cross-contaminated. In addition to keeping their workspace tidy, chefs must also make sure the meals they provide are well-balanced for high school students to ensure they have enough energy and nutrients to complete the day and continue growing.

What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?: I used to be in a lot of other roleplays in discord servers with all different types of plots. From this, I’ve gained experience in a considerate amount of roleplay environments and situations. Before joining SchoolRP, I tried out numerous other servers with roleplay features. They helped me gain roleplay skills and work on bettering detailRP. Around 2 years ago, I first started playing on SchoolRP; it was not like most other servers I’ve been on. It has opened new ideas and character designs which I have developed over time.

Situations
/*Do not mention use of FearRP*/

During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?: My character would seem unfazed by the student’s remarks. He would politely ask the student not to use such foul language. If the student continued to be disruptive to the environment, my character would raise his voice and inform the student that they are disturbing the area. He would then sternly tell them to stop but he would add a “please” to the end of his directions. When the student stops cursing and insulting him, he would say thank you then wish them a good rest of their day. If they continued to insult him but did not continue to curse, my character would simply ignore it and move on.

You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?: He would approach the students immediately and separate the two by pushing them away. In his head, he’d be trying to figure out how the conflict has started while thinking how to resolve this fight so that the students would not continue to fight right after the fight is broken up or outside of school grounds. Jasper would propose the solution or ask them to not interact with each other if they would like to continue violent behavior in an environment made for education. He would assign them both appropriate punishments and to any individual involved. He would also observe them to see how badly the students are hurt or if at all, in case they need to be treated by the school nurse. If their injuries are extreme, Jasper would pick up the student with worse injuries and bring them to the nurse’s office. If multiple students seemed to be heavily injured, he would ask any capable students nearby or radio another school faculty member to help bring the wounded to the nurse’s office. Before escorting the injured students away, if a crowd seemed to gather due to the fight, Jasper would ask that all the group disperses and carry on with their routines.

Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?: My character would get involved in the situation immediately trying the calm the situation down making sure that no one else will get involved or hurt before carefully calling for more staff for backup and reporting the whole thing to SLT with valid proof and evidence

When in the employee break room, how does your character act? My character would interact with his coworkers if any were there. He’d greet them with a smile and a hello. He would talk to them for a bit and make small talk. If they seemed interested in the conversation then my character would begin to ask them somewhat more personal questions but still socially acceptable. If they seemed uninterested or busy, he would stop there and carry on with tasks that would be done if no one else were in there. If no one else were there, he’d make some coffee and chill.

Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:

/me
he’d walk over to the sink washing his hands making sure that they are clean before starting to prepare his food. He’d then walk over grabbing a knife and a bowl of placing them on the counter before going over to the freezer grabbing out 2 cuts of pork and grabbing a jar of rice from his cupboard reaching for 1 baby lettuce, 1 spring onion, 1 carrot, some soy sauce, honey placing them all on the counter before him he’d grab out a pot and pan placing them on the stove letting them get to a small boil before putting the rice in he’d start to cut the pork into 2cm chunks putting them on the pan to fry and cook upon waiting for that to cook he would grab his knife and vegetables cutting them up into small thin slices making sure not to cut himself setting that aside Jasper would go and check up on the pot making sure that it was on a small boil putting 2 cups of rice into it placing a lid on leave it there to cook for 10-15 mins making sure to constantly keeping and eye on it, he’d them walk back over to the greens and the soy sauce adding them in with the pork letting them cook together after a couple of mins he would take the pan and rice off the over preparing them in a nice bowl ready to eat.

/me began by getting out a medium pot and filling it ⅔ with water. He would place it over a burner and turn it on high. He’d sprinkle in some salt, cover it with a lid, and get out the next ingredients. He’d put a potato under the running sink faucet and scrub the skin thoroughly. He would gently set it onto a towel spread out on the counter. He would proceed to do the same with 5 more potatoes. Once finished, he would crack his knuckles before getting out a peeler and cutting board. Careful not to cut his fingers, Jasper would skin the potatoes. The skins would pile onto the cutting board. He would then check the pot; it would be boiling. He’d take off the lid and carefully place in the potatoes so as to not splash hot water. Jasper would lower the heat of the burner then get out a pan and put it onto the burner next to it, turning it onto medium heat. He’d go to the fridge and get out a package of raw minced beef and a butter stick. Next, he’d browse around the kitchen for seasoning that may enhance the flavor of the dish. He’d bring a small bowl and knife to the cutting board. As a precaution, he got out some disposable plastic gloves and put them on. He would use the knife to slide the potato skins to the side and place the package of minced beef onto it. Jasper would stick the knife’s blade into the top of the plastic package and drag it in a line, tearing the plastic. He would get out a good handful or two of the beef and place it into the preheated pan. He’d take off the plastic gloves and throw them out. Jasper would break apart the minced beef with a wooden spoon and turn the heat to low. He would get out a small bowl and begin measuring seasoning he believed would perfect the recipe into the bowl. He turned to the pot of potatoes and pulled one to the side with a fork. He’d gently press into it with the fork, testing its firmness. The fork would easily make holes in the potato. He grabbed the handle of the pot and picked the pot up, taking it to the sink. He would then carefully empty the water into the sink but keep the potatoes into the pot. He’d get out an oven mitt, set it onto the counter, and place the pot onto it. Jasper would cut off one tablespoon of butter and put it into the pot along with the bowl of seasoning and cooked minced beef. Stirring the pot while mashing the potatoes, Jasper slightly smiled at the so far-success. He got out 3 paper plates and put a couple spoonfuls of flour onto the first one. The next plate he cracked 3 eggs onto it and whisked it together with a fork. For the third plate, Jasper dumped about 2 cups of bread crumbs onto it. He then got out a large pot and filled it about 2 inches up with vegetable oil. Then put it over a burner, setting it to high. Jasper went back to the pot of potatoes and used a large spoon to scoop out some potato mixture from the pot. He rolled it into a ball and then into the flour all around. He’d put it onto the next plate and get a layer of egg onto it then the bread crumbs. He would allow the potato ball to get a generous coating of bread crumbs and place it into the sizzling pot of oil. Jasper repeated the process and was careful not to splash any oil onto himself. He’d let them evenly brown and turn them over as one side was his desired crispness. He used chopsticks to fish them out and placed them onto another plate with a paper towel on it to let the excess oil drip away. Jasper smiled at the plate of fresh croquettes proudly. He would turn off all the burners like a smart individual before devouring the croquettes.

/me He’d get a head of lettuce from the refrigerator, wash it, and place it on the cutting board. He’d chop it in half, then into quarters. He’d then chop the quarters into smaller bits and place it in a big bowl. He’d then grab several tomatoes and cut each one into quarters. He’d add it to the bowl of lettuce and toss the salad with a pair of kitchen tongs. Next, he’d grab a large carrot from the fridge and chop it into small bites. Once again he’d add it to the bowl and toss the salad. Then, from the fridge he’d grab a bottle of ranch dressing and drizzle it in the bowl, tossing it with the tongs to create a nice salad.

Backstory
I was born in San Juan Puerto Rico. My mother struggled with her health a few months after I was born. She was misdiagnosed and got the wrong treatment for about 2 months before doctors realized she had pneumonia. Sadly, they were too late and she passed away shortly after. My father was heavily impacted by her death and began to neglect me. He lost motivation to eat meals so naturally, I didn’t get those too. When I did receive meals, my father would order out and get comfort foods for us. My diet was quite unhealthy; it stumped my growth and soon neighbors and relatives began to notice. At the age of 7 my aunt was kind enough to offer us to stay in her house. She forced my dad to see a physiatrist and gave me proper meals. My body was in much better health after only a few months. I saw my aunt prepare the meals since I was always eager to try the dishes she made. Curious as a cat, I bombarded her with millions of questions all about cooking and appliances. Eventually, she let me make snacks and lunches for my little cousins under her supervision.
After he began to let go of the past, my dad and I would travel back and forth between France and San Juan to see family a lot. During one of these trips I met one of my best friends, Mazikeen Smith. We used to joke around and talk about our dreams of future occupations. She wanted to help others around her by becoming a cop and bettering the community. I always admired her for that; it inspired me to want to help others but in a different way. Around this time in France, my grandfather took me to a local restaurant called Reveler’s Hour all the time since he’s a close friend of the owner. We could watch the cooks preparing the food. Seeing them prepare the delicious meals in so little time fueled my passion even more to become a chef. The chefs there were quite nice so they answered my questions about how to work on certain parts of meals. In high school, I focused on my studies mainly but spent my free time trying out different restaurants with my friends. They grew tired of it after a while so sometimes we played games where we cooked for each other and tried to guess who made what dish. Sometimes they almost seemed inedible but it was fun and helped me realize what foods do not work together at all. When I graduated highschool, my family noticed my ambitions and helped me apply to the best culinary arts schools in France. I was accepted by a few but settled on one close to my grandparents so I could live with them. In exchange, I did household chores and cooked meals for them. I experimented a lot with different dishes; some for worse and some for the better. No matter the outcome, it was a learning experience for me.
While in college, I got a job at Reveler’s Hour as a host. On extremely busy days, sometimes I was asked to prepare side dishes. This gave me experience on managing different orders and learning new tasks quickly. I spent four years working there; I became quite familiar with the kitchen and its nature during all hours. My grandfather had a few connections and organized me to train with some of the best chefs in the country and even from other continents.
My grandfather died in my third year in college. I’m truly grateful for everything my family has done for me. I’ve grown a lot due to them, not just as a chef, but as a person. I did not want to be like my father and neglect all responsibilities in grief so I pushed forward, determined to fulfill my dream in his honor. After my last year of college, I finally graduated. I requested to be a chef at Reveler’s Hour and thus switched. Since I already knew how the kitchen was run, I was able to keep up with the dinner rushes easily. After only a year, I was promoted to sous chef when the previous one retired. I continued to work there for another year before my grandmother passed away. I soon began to realize that I liked my job and workplace but it didn’t fulfill my passion. I decided to research a bunch of different towns all over the world for a change of scenery and figure out what to do from there. I settled on moving to japan to learn about different cultures and its cuisine. The town of Karakura seemed lovely so I moved there. Slowly after moving, I heard about a job as a chef in a local high school. It began to spark my dream to help others so I quickly applied with hopes of bettering meals for the youth and of inspiring a new generation of chefs.

Motivation for Joining KHS: After getting my masters degree in culinary arts, I decided that I wanted to enter a career field that would allow me to serve food to others on the daily. Due to some of my past events, I have a strong motivation to provide well-balanced and delicious meals to kids. It was always tricky getting something on my plate like that when I was a student so even if it’s only providing one or two meals a day, I’m happy to make a difference. I found that Karakura seemed like a beautiful town; I began looking for some jobs relating to culinary arts to utilize my training and education. Once I saw the school had a few open positions and one happened to be for a school chef, I was instantly drawn to the opportunity as it aligned with both passions of mine. It provides children meals and lets me cook. I’ve always had a small dream to inspire younger generations to pursue culinary arts and cooking as well. With this new position available and a fresh start in Karakura, I feel more motivated than ever to teach students and help them excel in the culinary arts if they seem interested.

Do you have any previous experience working in a school environment? If so, please elaborate (If not, respond with "N/A"): N/A

Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?: I am very familiar with working around various food restrictions, whether dietary or allergy-based. I have been practicing safe food handling since I took my culinary training in school. I have kept up with all local regulations and hold valid certificates. I also run my kitchen at an even higher standard than government regulations, requiring the freshest ingredients and safe handling of all food. I'm the better candidate because I'm able to execute what the school wants. To receive and provide knowledge and skill with creative cooking to bring a grand experience to the students. I have a good skill at grasping new concepts or tasks and I am really motivated. I am hard-working and punctual and will not spend too much time learning something new and implementing changes to my routine.
