In detail, describe the ranking system of teachers:
- HD
↳ Meaning: Head of Department
↳ Description:
The head/lead of whatever subject they teach. They train each UT teacher in their department, and make sure each class is going smoothly. They’ve taught the longest in their respective department, meaning they are the most experienced and can make their own decisions with little to no doubt from their fellow employees.
- QT
↳ Meaning: Qualified Teacher
↳ Description:
Educators that have been teachers for a while in KHS. They’re used to teaching classes, and usually don’t require any assistance when hosting their own independent classes. They rarely seek further guidance from their HD.
- NQT
↳ Meaning: Newly Qualified Teacher
↳ Description:
A teacher that has gone through sufficient training, they have passed the training UT Teachers go through and has been deemed more than knowledgeable to host classes without supervision. Although it is not common, they sometimes seek further help from the HD in their respective subject.
- UT

↳ Description:
A new member of the teaching faction that has just recently been accepted and are considered quite inexperienced. They are not permitted to host classes yet and have to undergo training by SLT and fellow teachers.
Teacher Knowledge
Present to us your knowledge about Teachers in-game and out-of-game, what purpose do teachers serve. What salary do they get? Include a paragraph about the way teachers teach, what they do in their spare time in general.
Teachers in SRP play a major role due to their importance in both the lore aspect and how they affect the school-life experience. For example, teachers regularly enforce rules on school grounds while teaching students about certain subjects and give it their all, making sure none of their students are left in the dust to fail. Teachers are very influential and are considered the student’s role models as they are both mature and knowledgeable.
Teachers in SRP are expected to host 15 classes each month and can receive a paycheck of ¥450,000. This does not include overtime- meaning that if another 10 extra classes are hosted at the end of the month, the teacher could receive a paycheck of ¥500,000.
Teachers that are a part of the high school faction in KHS are very dedicated to their job as they thoroughly think of lesson plans that would be both fun and knowledgeable for the students that will participate in their classes.
Why are teachers important to a SchoolRP server?:
As stated in the name, teachers are a crucial part of any SchoolRP due to their role. Teachers are in charge of student’s education and are expected to act mature and professional. They are much more experienced in terms of roleplay compared to students and bring a realistic outlook to the server. If there were no teachers on a SchoolRP server, it'd make the passing hours quite boring and repetitive.
What lesson planning system does the school work on?:
I believe the planning system the school works on is ‘Must have, Should have, Could have’ or MOSCO in short form. If I’m wrong, please correct me!
Character Knowledge
Tell us everything you know about the character you will be playing in a few paragraphs. What do they look like? What makes them unique and different? What is their outlook on Students? What about the other teachers? What is their personality like? What are their plans for the future?
Kanao Hoshima’s appearance was quite bizarre. There’d always seem to be some sort of colourful paint stuck in her dyed hair- creating a funky and wild look. Accompanying her blue hair, Kanao would have pale skin as she wore contacts with the irises shaped as hearts and stars. Although in her early thirties, she’d be a very dependable person with her outlandish behavior.
She certainly didn’t act her age, speaking with thick Okinawan dialect and exaggerated hand movements. This resulted in Kanao being approachable as she was both an extrovert yet somewhat reserved. Kanao loves being a teacher and interacting with students, teaching them about various things relating to the subject of art. She’s kind to her fellow teachers and respective to SLT or any other authorities. Her plans for the future are quite simple- settle in Karakura with her family, and have a good time!
Scenarios
You find a gang of delinquents in the hallway cursing and swearing, what do you do?:
“Silence, please.”
If they’re a group of students known for causing trouble, Kanao would not hesitate to send them to detention. If the group would refuse- Kanao would calmly contact another school employee to call for an SLT. After this, she would wait with the group of students for an SLT, and let judgement be passed down accordingly.
No one in your class is listening to a word you say, what do you do?:
“Have I told any of you to speak?”
Kanao wasn't too fond of yelling as a method to grab people's attention as it would only cause more disturbances- especially when it's directed towards students. Instead, she’d hint that she was trying to calm the class down. Kanao would quietly wait and observe the classroom, looking for the main troublemakers. After two warnings, she'd promptly kick out said students, making an example out of the situation for the rest of the class to take notes on.
When in the teacher's lounge, how does your character act?:
“I’m exhausted...”
Although Kanao was quite an eccentric woman, she'd be relatively relaxed in the teacher’s lounge as it’s a place for the teacher’s to rest. She'd often be seen sleeping, with a blanket lazily thrown onto her and a timer set for when she'd have to wake up. If someone struck up a conversation with Kanao, she'd keep a calm and quiet tone, engaging in the small talk as she'd casually look over homework she assigned the day prior.
Provide at least 4 detailed /me's of your character inside a classroom:
/me &7&ostared at the painted canvas, a proud smile evident on her face. &F”You did great! It’s a wonderful painting.” &7&oShe quietly clapped, strolling towards the next student.
/me &7&ostrummed her fingers on the warm cup as she took a large sip of coffee, glaring at the classroom filled with loud students. She patiently tapped her foot. &F”Settle down, &oplease.&F”
/me &7&ogently wrote her own name onto the chalkboard with ease. &F”Good morning, I’m Miss Hoshima. Welcome to my classroom.”
/me &7&ohummed to herself as she skipped around the classroom, placing tubs of paint onto each desk, accompanied by a small paintbrush.
Backstory
Kanao Hoshima's upbringing was nothing out of the ordinary. She was born in Okinawa, Japan alongside three siblings. She was the second oldest while her family all collectively worked as fishermen and farmers. In school, Kanao did not excel in anything, having mediocre grades throughout her elementary years. She did have one vague thing she was interested in which was art. Although she had no outstanding talent in the subject, she quite enjoyed doing activities related to art itself. She'd be seen fumbling around with dried markers on napkins in her free time and would be experimenting colour theory with the tubs of paint she had at home.
A few years later, and now Kanao is in her second year of high school- being in both the Performing Arts Club and an active member in the arts community. Her family had collectively decided to follow relatives in Karakura, Japan. Kanao, clearly devastated, had to leave her friends and club members back in Okinawa- starting a new life in a foreign city with no acquaintances. She finished the rest of her secondary education and started her post-secondary education in Karakura, making some friends along the way. One of the things Kanao did not let go of after moving to Karakura was her knowledge and passion for art. She had looked up to her old teachers and strived to become a teacher that would not only be a role model for students but to make herself proud as well. After a long period of deciding what she would major in, Kanao decided she would get a degree relating to the Arts as she spent eight years obtaining her Ph.D. in visual arts. She'd then take a short trip to the States, teaching abroad for a short period before she moved back to Karakura with relatives. She and her cousins had decided they were going to stay, each member settling in as they slowly applied for their desired jobs. Kanao was no exception, almost immediately applying to become a part of the high school faction at KHS.
