Growing up Cody was a bright and cheerful boy, he helped people when he could by helping his classmates with homework and and doing random things to help people like helping them bring groceries to their car and cheering people up. Back at home it wasn't so great as he had no parents and had been by himself since he was 6, he learned stuff with the help of others who would act as mentors but nobody acted as a parent. When he reached middle school he finally realized he was being bullied by other kids and being taken advantage of, it was around this time he developed an inferiority complex and started working out daily. At some point he decided to move with money he saved up over time and was just barely able to move to Karakura where he started highschool.
