What's your Minecraft Username?: Acerrisnothere
What's the title of your suggestion?: Cosmetics out of feather or any other loader not be used

What's your suggestion?:
Ive seen people with large wings and exessive large items fluttering around them. like I dont care but its a eyesore trying to be immersive yet people just have their player look as if its just a normal game to play than a roleplay server. Seeing such in a server where you have to rely on your eyes to be in the zone to roleplay stuff out, I cant roleplay some serious stuff if some person has fireworks, drones and large ass wings on their person. Ill just forget about said rp moment and just get angry seeing people trying to be some sort of magical, mystical creature in a HUMAN AND REALISTIC TYPE SERVER. I cant. I literally cant. Its like shoving a flame into my eyes and saying it isnt painful but we know it is, everyone knows that.

I beg plead or you to literally get rid or just say you cant wear said cosmetics cause the immersion is like a one way mirror. Yes some people can see it and others cant but its unrealistic of some human person having wings and fireworks combusting around them as if they are a mystical unreal ethereal being thats come to bless our 150 rolls yet in retrospecive ABSOLUTELY NOT??? Put a rule or something where we cant have outside unreal cosmetics. I know you cant ask everyone but its ruining my experience. Hurting my eyes and my soul.

How will this benefit the server and community?:
YES IT WOULD. IT WOULD BE REALISTICCCCC

This is arguably impossible and unrealistic to expect staff to moderate, given the majority of us don't use Feather Client. If you don't want to see other people's cosmetics, there are plenty of other mod loaders (such as CurseForge, Modrinth, Lunar Client, etc.) that you can use. You can also submit a suggestion to Feather directly to ask them to implement a feature that lets you disable cosmetics within the client itself.

Plus, people might not even realise they have cosmetics on, they might only use a certain client to play on servers other than SRP and they don't see these cosmetics. I know for a fact this is the case for people who use a mod called Cosmetica on other servers, and don't for SRP.

And if people are genuinely roleplaying out the fact their cosmetics are visible to everyone, and are roleplaying as a mystical creature, you can report this to staff as this is something against our rules (4.1).

If it is client/mod based, then just change your client/remove the mod if you do not want to see someone with dragon wings or have a flying bee next to their head. SRP, PHYSICALLY, CANNOT toggle off client-related stuff like on Feather or Lunar, or even mods like More Player Models/3D Skins/Figura. I understand that SRP is more of a modern server, but even so we have models in game that give players FAKE WINGS or FAKE RABBIT ears and most stuff like that. Edit: You can toggle cosmetics from other players OFF for yourelf in your settings

Like Luma said, if there is something they are using that they are trying to roleplay out that others cant see, do report it. Its not that hard brother

I think it would be hard to tell everybody "Stop using that now!" because, well. Not everybody would care, and some people like their pretty little cosmetics

Hi there, ex feather user !!

1) we have a partnership with feather, that doesn't mean we demand what can or can't be on their client.

2) you can turn the cosmetics off. At least if they still have that option, then you won't see it!

3) we will /not/ tell people to remove their cosmetics that are on a client that's used for fun on Minecraft, sure, not reasltic on a server but most people use different clients or don't care about it. You're the first person I've actually seen make a suggestion / comment on this. People can and will continue to express themselves however they want and we will not be forcing them to stop it. It does not affect roleplay :D!

Like Luma said, if they are actually using it to roleplay mystical things, then yeah, report if, otherwise its doing no harm

Also... we literally have models on the server that resemble a lot of mythical things, wings, horns, ears, etc - a lot of the community actually cosplay within their characters!

I can easily see why you'd hate that, but like literately EVERYONE in this comment section said. It is impossible to get players to stop using cosmetic items like that, would just be annoying to hear "DoNt USe CoSmEtIC ItEMS" so. ya like everyone said yeah. Impossible

From roleplay and personal experience, use the Minecraft Launcher. I solved 90% of my 'roleplay & performance' issues just by going back to normal.

Doesn't this kinda sound the exact same when we say "Don't use X Mod"?

Very different, if you're caught using a banned mod, you risk being banned. We will not ban over a people wanting to dress up via cosmetics

There are settings inside the client to turn off the cosmetics. You can also turn off certain ones. Also, here's an old photo of me with a lunar cosmetic on.
