I'm online for anywhere ranging from 2-7 hours a day.
I'm often on anywhere from 1:00 pm-1:00 am depending on the day, I wont be as active on Tuesdays and Saturdays as I work.
I hop online to the server when I have the time and chance to do so.
While I may not be the best in every type of roleplay, I want to expand upon my knowledge and grow within it.
The roleplay types I've gotten involved (DetailRP and Non DetalRP) have ranged from energetic and goofy times with friends such as Beach days to sad moments such as Dia's brother George dying. Other roleplay types include GangRP, ParanormalRP and RomanceRP.

I am applying for the role of Librarian.

In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
The Librarian role consists of helping students in the library and assisting with library cards, assisting with hosting detentions, organizing the library books and helping the students outside of the library when necessary. Librarians are needed to make the library a safe and smoothly ran area for all students on the server who wish to use it.
The role is important and should be treated as such with respect.

What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
I have been roleplaying on SchoolRP since 2020, I have had a positive experience. I thoroughly enjoy creating relationships with characters and plots.

During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
Dia would be initially taken aback, telling the student to calm themselves and give them a warning, Dia would then continue with her work day. If the student continued to curse her out or came back to do so, Dia would then warn them once more. If the student still continued after all that, Dia would threaten a detention, giving the student the detention if they did not stop. If the student continued after this she would get in contact of one of her higher ups and go through the higher discipline process as necessary.

You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:

Dia would break up the fight by telling them to split up, if not she would move the two students away from one another. After that she would ask the students and any possible witnesses what led up to that occurrence. After she did so, Dia would warn the students to stay away from each other, encouraging them to take a moment to calm down. If they continued the fight after this, Dia would once again break the fight up, telling them to leave each other alone, threatening detention if they did not do so. If the students continued to fight after this Dia would give the students detention and speak to them on how to use words to solve situations and handle the situation better in the future.

Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
Dia would first observe her peer, questioning them in hopes to seek to understand rather than being understood. If the activities were confirmed to be inappropriate and dangerous, depending on the situation Dia would inform/guide her peer so they could grow as a person. If the activity was continued, Dia would talk to a higher up about the situation, informing them of how it was dangerous and what she saw.

When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
Dia would be generally quiet, occasionally including herself in a calm chat. Things she would talk about would be; things that happened during their day, asking her coworkers how they're doing, talking about her daughters (Yuuki and Callista) and events that may have happened in the news. Other things she would do would include having a snack or reading a book.


Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:

/me would take the students library card into her hand, scanning the barcode and sets the library card down gently. She hummed gently then picking up the book, turning it towards the back to find the barcode, scanning it as well. Dia set down the book, reading through the information on the screen carefully as she confirmed the information. Dia would pick up the book, setting the printed due date and the students library card on top, handing it to the student gently. "Have a nice day!" Dia smiled and waved.

/me would stack several romance and fantasy fiction novels onto her cart, strolling it towards the shelves. Dia would stop at the romance section, putting on her glasses, squinting at the books on the shelf, looking for the letters to store the book. After finding the allocated slot, she'd gently slide the novel onto the shelf neatly lining them up.

/me would nod at the student, smiling. "Alright! Right this way, follow me." Dia walked towards the door, opening it and stepping outside of the librarian's desk, closing the door gently behind her. Dia held the student's note indicating the name, looking up to find the sci-fi section. "Alright F section." She'd step towards the shelves, looking up and down for the book carefully. Seeing it, she'd squat down, grabbing the book from the bottom shelf, reaching it up and handing it to the student.

Backstory
Growing up, Dia lived in a small Swedish settlement, there in Sweden her family practiced strict non-traditional religious beliefs. The environment was very dangerous and toxic for her, causing her to take more interest in her studies and literature. When she was 14 Dia took her younger sister Alonea and they took the long trip and cultural difference of moving to Karakura, Japan.
Their reasoning to move to Karakura, Japan was to view, their dad, Elijah's culture and where he grew up.

Dia's first few months were a cultural shock to her as she was still learning the Japanese language and mannerisms, these were very different from what she was used to in Sweden. This Led her to read many books in attempts to learn the cultures manners and better expand her vocabulary.

During high school she excelled in the literary arts, struggling very hard with science. Dia frequently attended after school tutoring, exchanging help with science for her knowledge and help with literature. Doing so gave her a passion for education. Even af6ter she gave birth to her twin daughters, she found it a calm environment to relax in.

Dia went to college, majoring in Education. After she had spent some time in her major, she decided to dropping it to a minor after her first year, instead picking up library science as her major. In Dia's second year of college, she volunteered at the library, helping the Librarians sort through books and place them back in her free time, picking up knowledge from them as she went.
Her third year of college she struggled very hard with being in her two daughter's life and focusing on her studies.
After several hard-working months, she graduated with her masters degree in Library Science.

She immediately hopped into the work field, applying to work as a librarian.

Motivation for Joining KHS:
Having studied in Library Science, Dia found it appropriate to apply for Librarian. Whether she would be helping students with finding books and getting enthusiastic over them or giving information to students, it was something she thoroughly enjoyed to do and knew she would be happy to work in.

Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
I believe I should be accepted over other applicants because I seek to understand rather than being understood first. I would make a good School Faculty Member because of my drive and motivation to improve myself and others as I go. Not only do I have a positive lookout but I also would thoroughly enjoy my role and position!
