What is your Minecraft username?:
Mochidao (Applying) | Yudao_ (Main)
Do you have Discord (If so, what is your discord username?):
yudaoo
What is your time zone?:
EST
Describe your activity on the server:
I have been playing on this server since 2022! (I’m just stat padding btw, I logged on once in 2022 and that was in January..) But seriously though, I started playing SRP almost everyday during 2023 as that was when I first started playing the basketball plugin! The most recent team I was in is the College Males Basketball team, I left them this March and took about a month break but I am coming back refreshed and ready for a new experience!
I am able to log on SRP at about 2:00 PM EST until 5:30 PM EST, have an hour or so break for dinner and such and then log back on at 8:00 PM EST for the rest of the night! This might change slightly depending on my work schedule!
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you will be demoted?:
Yes I do!
School Employee Role you are applying for?:
Counselor!
In as much detail as possible, describe the employee role you are applying for:
The Counselor employee role I have in my head is a professional that the students, and even other employees/faculty, can rely on whenever they feel as if they need, well, counsel. Feeling down because a friend seems to be avoiding you? Talk to a Counselor on what you should do or just rant! Confused on what you aspire to be? Perhaps a Counselor can help you with that! Unsure of what steps need to be taken to achieve your dreams?! (Or just a deadline that is a little toooo close..) Talk. To. A. Counselor!
With my personal feelings on the role aside, a Counselor is someone who can help people in moments of uncertainty, doubt, sorrow, and even hopelessness- You can never underestimate how much kindness and a path can help someone.
What experience, in general, do you have in roleplay?:
In general I would say I have a lot of experience in roleplay, this is because I not only have been playing SRP pretty consistently for the past 3 years, I have also been playing D&D (Dungeons and Dragons) for even longer- about 10 years. I also write backstories for characters and nations to add depth to make the worlds I design for D&D richer. Making my players not only partake but also feel the story is something I love to do and I have been for about 4 years! I also play PermaDeath servers that involve roleplaying characters much like in SRP- The only difference is that it's spoken instead of typed. I am usually always involved in higher positions in such servers as I tend to survive and emotionally lead characters- I’m currently playing as a Commander of an entire regiment in a PermaDeath server right now and one of the big parts of the roleplay outside of missions is me helping the recruits to get over and ready to push forward! Similar to what I envision myself doing as a Counselor but without all the death, PTSD, sacrificing soldiers for the mission… Actually not all that similar aside from helping people push forward past their problems.
Why do you want to join the School Employee faction?:
I want to join the School Employee faction because it seems really fun and I’ve been hoping to find a new way to roleplay after only playing on this server as part of a sports team. I have so much experience in different aspects as I mentioned in the previous answer, I want to use and expand on them and I feel as if being a Counselor would be a perfect fit for it!

During a work-shift a student starts cursing at you for being pathetic, how does your character react?:
Leon would blink in surprise and turn to face the student yelling at him, his eyes faster than his slow and controlled movement leaving a moment of Leon simply side eyeing the student. He smiled and just let the student continue, waiting for them to stop and catch their breath. “Feeling better? Screaming sure helps you feel better doesn’t it? I usually scream at the ocean if I need to but I guess this means I am a good second option.” He stood silently, letting his words sink in in an attempt to steer the mood away from whatever it just was. “Now, I would like it if we could talk in my office about whatever it is that drove you to scream like that, does that sound good?”
You notice two students are physically fighting in the hallway, – multiple punches have been thrown – how does your character react?:
Leon was on a casual stroll around the school, hands in his pockets and whistling to the wind. Any other day he would have just kept going on his merry way with nothing happening as usual, but then a sudden sharp and loud TWACK! echoed from the other end of the hall. Leon immediately pulled his walkie from his hip- “I need help at the back of the school near the Media Room right now!” -quickly clipping it back into place while running in between both the students and pushing them away from each other. “ALRIGHT ENOUGH! GET AWAY FROM EACH OTHER NOW!” He’d snap his head from one student to the other before exhaling sharply, “Get away from each other, go to opposite ends of the bench and stay there until I get the situation sorted.”
Another school employee is clearly acting inappropriately, doing something very dangerous on the job, how does your character react?:
Leon would raise an eyebrow and walk over with a light sigh. He would carefully approach his coworker and pat them on the shoulder, “Excuse me- Yeah, hey! What are you doing?” He would smile and nod slowly as they spoke. “Right… Well, this is a terrible idea! A proper AWFUL idea! I’m going to ask you to just stop whatever this is before you actually do it and I have to report you.” Leon would proceed to pat them on the back, “We don’t want that, now do we?”
When in the employee break room, how does your character act?
Leon pushed the employee break room door open and closed it silently behind him, exhaling deeply while letting his shoulders drop slightly. He walked over to the couch while pulling his tie to loosen it, turning on his heel as he plopped down onto the couch. “Who could have guessed that helping kids be mentally okay would be so tiring? I feel as if almost every student in this place has some trauma to work on…” He leaned his head back and took a deep breath, exhaling slowly. Leon slowly opened his eyes and looked around, “I think that already about sums up how my day is going.. What about you guys?”
Provide us with at least three detailed /me's of your character whilst on your chosen role:
/me dragged himself into his office after the final bell, stopping dead when he saw the fresh stack of student files dumped on his desk. He stared at them for a long moment, dragging a hand down his face before letting out a tired sigh. "Absolutely not." He muttered to himself, moving the entire pile onto the far corner of the desk. He sank heavily into his chair, loosening his tie with one hand while spinning the seat around so he could stare out the window instead of looking at his responsibilities. He grabbed his leftover, room-temperature coffee and took a sip. "Let's see how long I can pretend those don't exist before administration comes hunting for me," he chuckled to himself and the empty room.
/me leaned back in his chair, tapping a pen against his thigh as he watched the student sniffle across the desk. He didn't rush to offer comfort right away, giving them the space to let their emotions out. After the worst of it seemed to pass, he slid a box of tissues across the desk, offering a smile. "Take your time," he said. He leaned forward while resting his elbows on the desk and loosely intertwining his fingers. "Whenever you're ready to talk about it, I'm here. But if you want to sit in silence for a bit, that's fine too. No rush."
/me was taking his usual mid-morning sweep of the hopefully empty hallways when he spotted a pair of sneakers awkwardly sticking out from behind the vending machine. He paused, tilting his head as he stared at the poorly hidden student, letting out a soft chuckle. "You know, if you're going to skip class, you really need to work on your stealth." He called out to the student, his voice echoing lightly in the empty hallway with a casual tone. He sauntered over, leaning his shoulder against the glass of the machine and looking down at them with a raised eyebrow. "So, what's the master plan here? Are we hiding until the bell rings, or just having a deeply emotional moment with a bag of chips?" He offered his hand to the student, "Come on, get up and head to class before I make you reorganize my disaster of a filing cabinet- and let me tell you, it's a fate worse than detention."

Full Name (First & Last only):
Leon stepped into the office and glanced around, taking note of the decorations in the office and any small trinkets on the table. His gaze travelled down and locked onto the Interviewer’s eyes. He kept a soft and even smile on his face as he stared across the table at the interviewer. “My full name is Leon Seto. You may call me Leon.”
Title (Mr, Mrs, Miss):
He shifted in his seat to get a little more comfortable, keeping his posture straight. “As much as I would like to allow everyone to call me by my first name as it would make my work easier, I believe at first meeting Mr. Seto would be just fine.”
Preferred Name:
He chuckled, putting a hand up as his other covered his mouth. “Apologies, I just found it amusing that I answered that question before you asked it.” He cleared his throat and calmed back down to an even smile. “Calling me Leon would be great.”
Age (Minimum is 25):
Leon set his hands one over the other on the table, drumming his fingers against it. “I am 26 years old. I will be turning 27 soon.”
Gender:
Leon smiled softly and lowered his head slightly for a moment before raising it back up. “I’m male, He/Him. Thank you for asking.”
Academic Degree:
He fixed his posture and his eyes glistened with a hint of confidence and pride as he cleared his throat and spoke. “I have a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling .” Leon clearly felt confident in speaking about his accolades but he didn’t seem to delve too deeply about them.
Major(s):
He fixed his tie and kept his smile, his eyes still locked onto the interviewer’s. His gaze was constant but not intense, like being watched by an attentive but clearly friendly dog. “I have a Major in Psychology.”
Minors:
Leon blinked quickly, seemingly breaking his walls for a moment as the question seemed to catch him off guard..? Usually people never ask about minors, interesting. “I have a Minor in Child & Adolescent Development as well as a Minor in Counseling.
Nationality:
He took a moment to breathe in and out, recollecting himself quite quickly. Leon seemed to, once again, maintain an even smile on his face as he locked eyes with the interviewer. “I am Japanese. Born and raised here.”
Known Languages:
Leon scratched the side of his chin with his index finger, bringing his hand back down towards the table in a smooth controlled motion. “I only speak Japanese. However, it is one of the many things I do wish to change about myself. I want to know more languages to not only widen my horizons but also communicate better with people who might speak the languages I learn.”

(Age 0–14)
Leon grew up in a house that was really quiet. His parents were people who wanted what was best for him but they showed it by making rules and having routines instead of giving him hugs and talking to him about important things. They were old fashioned and not very close so Leon had to learn how to deal with his feelings on his own. Instead of acting out to get their attention he got really good at keeping to himself and staying calm. He remembers spending hours sitting at the table in the living room writing in a special way called calligraphy and it was totally silent. He actually liked the quiet of feeling stuck. By the time he got to school, being calm was one of his best qualities. While other kids were getting really upset about growing up drama and the big tests to get into school Leon was the person they went to when they were feeling overwhelmed. He was like a person who could absorb all their stress. His life at home was very stable. That made it easy for him to be a good friend when they felt like everything was falling apart.
(Age 15–23)
High school can be really tough. Leon figured out that people do not always need someone to fix their problems. They just need someone to listen to them without judging. He took that calm energy to college, where he studied psychology because he really wanted to know how people think.. College was not just about studying. Leon made the Men's Basketball team and his calm mindset was perfect for playing basketball. While other players were trying to make shots and be in the spotlight Leon just focused on playing good defense. He was not easily upset by pressure. The best part of college was winning the championship. The other team had a player who liked to talk trash and get inside peoples heads. Leon was supposed to guard him during the game. For four quarters Leon took some hits, ignored the mean things the player was saying and just stayed focused on the game with a lot of patience. In the few seconds with the score tied Leon read the play, took the ball away and made the defensive play that won them the tournament. It showed him that sometimes just being strong and taking a hit is the thing you can do.
(Age 24–26)
After Leon graduated he could have easily gotten a job at a clinic or tried to play basketball professionally.. That did not feel right to him. He started looking into schools and eventually decided on Karakura. The city has a reputation for being a place. It is full of kids who have been through a lot with tempers and do not know what to do with their lives. For Leon that was the place to be. He spent a couple of years getting certified to be a counselor thinking about how his parents had supported him in their way and how basketball had taught him to deal with tough situations without fighting back. He knew that Karakura did not need another adult yelling at the kids. They needed someone who would not get upset when things got crazy. Now at twenty-six Leon is someone who can handle anything. His patience is almost endless. When a teenager is screaming, crying or just losing control in front of him he does not see someone who's beyond help. He just sees someone who is going through a time and he is ready to be the safe place they need when things calm down.
Motivation for Joining KHS (Character perspective):
Leon sat up straight, placing his pen down on the desk. "I have a lot of respect for the foundation that Karakura High School has built, however I am mostly drawn here because of the students. I know that the student body here has… A tendency to suffer from all kinds of trauma." He nodded briefly. "A lot of these kids are carrying around some stuff and they do not know how to deal with it yet. From my experience they do not always need another person telling them what to do when they act out." He leaned forward a bit putting his hands on his knees. "They need someone who can sit with them when they are frustrated, give them a tissue and help them see things are not so bad with a joke or two.”
Why should you be accepted over the other applicants?:
Leon took a deep breath and thought for a moment before answering. "I’ll preface what I’m about to say by making something very clear; traditional counseling is very important. However, my strength is dealing with the real life of a school. Be a pillar of calm and solace in a place where things tend to get crazy." He crossed his arms and sat back looking more relaxed but focused. "If a fight breaks out I am comfortable stepping in to stop it safely. If a student yells at me I am happy to stand and let them until they calm down or just tire themselves out. Then I will ask if they want to talk." He smiled quietly, looking confident. "I do not take it personally when students get upset. I use an approach which helps me connect with students who might otherwise bottle things up. I think this approach is what Karakura needs. I can be that person for the students."
