I spend a few hours a day on the server. I first joined on February 1st in 2025, but I really started playing in March after taking a break because SRP time felt like a full OOC day to me. Since then, I have been trying to be as active as possible.
I try to get on SRP daily, unless I have too much stuff to do for school and other OOC stuff. Even with this, I always try my best to stay active… My current playtime is around 8 weeks, and on my ALT, it’s 2 days. I recently started playing on my ALT!

What experiences do you have with roleplay?:
I joined SRP over a year ago, in February 2025, but I have been roleplaying way before that on Roblox. I even had my own roleplay TikTok account, but we do not talk about that anymore. I know Roblox roleplay and SRP roleplay are not exactly the same, but it still helped me get interaction skills and also helped me develop new characters really easily.
In my year of SRP, I have achieved experiences in multiple styles of roleplay, for exampl,e ParentRP, due to some of my chars having 3-4 kids, ClubRP, since one of my characters has been in the photography club for almost a year now, and ofcourse facultyRP, since i’ve been in the school faction for almost half a year now.
What is your motivation for applying?
I’ve wanted to apply for EMS for quite some time already, but I decided not to apply due to me wanting to gain some more roleplay experiences. I thought I would first improve my roleplay skills due to it being important in this faction.
After getting into the internship program a few weeks ago, I had decided to apply in the next wave because the faction looked really fun to be in. The internship did help me gain some knowledge about the faction and most of the roles in it!
As some of the people that are reading this application may know, I have had lots of opportunities to roleplay with EMS due to one of my character’s family having a few… accidents, and if you don’t know what family I’m talking about, I’m talking about the akoris. It just looked really fun to be on the other side of this!

What knowledge do you have of the roles within the Hospital Faction?
⋆ Director ⋆
This is the highest role in the EMS faction. The director oversees the whole faction, with, of course, the help of the deputy director, they lead the staff, and they have many more duties!
⋆ Deputy Director⋆
The Deputy Director helps the Director in running the faction. They help supervise staff, support departments, and make sure rules are followed!
They step in when needed and also help keep everything organized.
⋆ Clinical Leader ⋆
They help oversee the medical side of the hospital. They help with training or just do training themselves, assist their co-workers, and make sure patients get proper care.
⋆ Emergency Department ⋆

The Emergency Department focuses on more urgent situations, like someone getting attacked by a bear and possibly bleeding out. They respond to emergency calls, provide immediate treatment, and transport patients in their ambulance.

She looked around her for a few seconds before answering the question, “My name is Yumi, Yumi Akori.” She stopped talking to wait for the next question
Character’s Gender and Pronouns:
Looked confused. Isn’t it obvious that she’s a female? Oh well, “I’m a female, and my pronouns are she/her.” She again stopped talking, she looked the interviewer deep in the eyes, waiting for the next question
Character’s Age (if accepted):
Her eyes widened a bit after that question, “You usually don't ask a woman for their age, but I’m 42 years ol- Young!” She let out a small chuckle. She won't call herself old!

She looked at the clock on the wall, checking the time, and then looked back at the interviewer, “I’m Half Japanese and half British!” She really didn’t sound British, it might be because she has been in Japan for so long
Character’s Marital Status:
Her smile faded a bit after thinking about both of her husbands… “ I’m a widow, sadly enough…” A small tear started coming out of her right eye, and she slowly wiped it away, trying not to ruin her mascara
Character’s Religious Denomination:
She had to think about this for a second. “I’m not religious, but I do believe there's an afterlife and more stuff!”
Character’s Spoken Languages:
Started playing with her hair for a second. “I can speak Japanese and French, I don't speak French that much, only to talk with my kids!” She had a soft smile on her face
Character Backstory (Optional):
Yumi was born in Japan and is the second youngest out of four siblings. Growing up in a loud and hectic household with three siblings meant she learned how to deal wth lots of different personalities and emotions.
After high school, she went to college to study psychiatry. She even married her high school boyfriend, and they had a daughter together called Kaen. But sadly enough, not long after, he passed away due to an illness, which left her raising Kaen all alone while still trying to finish her education which was really difficult.
Years later, she traveled to Belgium and ended up meeting her future husband. They built up a life together and had three children, Mateo, Mijin, and Akiyo. When Akiyo turned five, not that long after her husband also passed away, making her a widow again.
Eventually, feeling tired, overwhelmed, and believing her children would be better off being surrounded by their family, she sent them to Karakura to live with their uncle.

SECTION 2: MEDICAL HISTORY
What is your character’s medical speciality? Why did they choose this focus?
Yumi specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry. She chose this because she became interested in how mental health starts developing from a very young age. During her studies, she had realized that helping children and teenagers early can make a huge difference in their future. Being a mother of four kids also helped her understand emotional changes and behaviour better, which made her more interested in this speciality
Does your character have any work experience in medical positions?
She does, after graduating from medical school, Yumi worked as a psychiatric intern in a hospital where she did evaluations, helped in therapy sessions, and worked under other psychiatrists. She later got more experience independently managing patients, creating treatment plans, and teaming up with doctors or emergency staff when mental health support was required
SECTION 3: CHARACTER KNOWLEDGE
Describe your character; how do they look, what makes them unique? How would they be perceived by others?
Yumi looks clean and professional. She usually wears clean, simple clothes for work and keeps her hair in a bun so it doesn’t annoy her while working. She isn’t really loud, she’s rather quiet. She’s really patient and listens to people without rushing them. Most people who know her would say she’s friendly and someone they could trust.

How does your character act around the hospital?
At the hospital, Yumi is really kind and also focused on her job, she helps patients and makes sure they understand what’s happening without all the doctor talk. She tries not to get involved in stuff that is about other people, like gossip or arguments. Even when things get stressful or really busy, she stays calm and keeps working.
Does your character function better on their own or with others?
Yumi works really well on her own, especially when she needs to focus on her patients or when she has to think about something. But she also knows how to work with other people when or if it’s needed. If she has questions, she really wouldn’t mind asking one of her co-workers, and she can also work in a team, but she does prefer to stay calm and do her job without too much chaos around her, she has enough of that outside of work already.
