History of Technology
Why should you become a club leader over other applicants, what abilities or ideas do you have that could benefit the club you'll be in charge of?
I should become a Club Leader because, In History of Technology Club we will be studying all about Technology and how it used to function and compare it to todays technology.
CLUB INFORMATION
What is your motivation for becoming the new leader of this club:
Here at History of Technology we will be studying all about Technology and how it used to function and compare it to today's technology. We would have 2-3 meets a week. We will have 5-13 members, Ages ranging from 16 all the way to 19. It will be ran kind of like a classroom. There will be units on each year of technology. There would be 5 all the way to 9 units. Me, Dae-Hyun Misono [GRADE-12] and Kenta Atsuko [TEACHER] pledge to strive for our and our members academic excellence on History of Technology. We would also study history of tools because we think that it would be important to talk about. We will also have quizzes on specific ages of technology. One of our units would be on ancient tools used in Mesopotamia, Ancient Egypt, and Sumer. That would be important because of the methods they used to create such technologies
What activities and events will this club do?:
Our members only event would be, partnering up in a group with 2-3 people and choosing a specific era of technology and typing out a report. Our school wide event(s) would be Hosting a assembly (with permission) in the Gym, there the students would explain and read their documents on the era of technology that they chose.
How will the club benefit the School?:
This club would benefit the School because, if we have an event it would educate non-club members about this club and all of the units.
What will be the requirements for future members, if any?:
The requirements/rules would be, No Fighting, No harsh language/slurs, No weapons (Even toy weapons). The requirements would be, you must to be 16-19 (ICLY) to enter this club, must ALWAYS bring Notebook, Pencil, and Electronic Devices
