Daily Announcements
In the school there is a broadcasting room, now I haven't been on this server for a very long (Started playing again the start of 2020) time but I have never seen it be used. Now I don't know if it was used in the past and if it was maybe it could be brought back? This could work as a journalist club. People can apply to become announcers and during the start of school, they can do their announcement. The announcement may include club activities coming up, tryouts that are happening soon, or just anything important that is going on or will be happening soon. Here are a few examples of the announcement:
If tryouts would be happening soon. (I will use the college track team as an example)
[DAILY ANNOUNCEMENT] Good morning students! Today is [DAY] and it's [TEMP] outside! Later today the college track team will be hosting tryouts! If you are coming to attend please wear sports attire and have good shoes on, also remember to bring water! That's all for today, have a great day!
If a club is hosting an event. (I will use the centre of performing arts club as an example)
[DAILY ANNOUNCEMENT] Good morning students! Today is [DAY] and it's [TEMP] outside! Today the Centre Of Performing Arts club will be showing off their dancing skills at the gym around [TIME]. That is all for today, have a lovely day!
If there is nothing going on BUT a club/tryout is going to happen in the next few days
[DAILY ANNOUNCEMENT] Good morning students! Today is [DAY] and it's [TEMP] outside! There is nothing really special going on today but a reminder that the [CLUB/SPORT] is hosting an [EVENT/TRYOUT] on [ICLY DAY/TIME]. If you have any questions, talk to the leaders!

Now you may ask, what would be the use for these be? We already get announcements right before something happens so why add daily announcements? Now I thought of that for a while, it is true that we do get announcements when tryouts start or if a club event is starting but these could be a heads up that something is going to happen. Now for my main reason, some people may not have discord and they might want to attend tryouts to watch or want to go to a certain event, but because they don't have discord it is hard for them to know when it will be. But if we have daily announcements it could give them a heads up that one of them is starting soon so they can know and make sure if they can attend or not. Now I know there aren't a lot of uses for daily announcements and I know that but it could be helpful for other types of events, let me use that storm event that happened recently.
When a storm is happening you most likely will know ahead of time, usually on the same day. So during the daily announcement they can bring it up such as saying ‘Heads up, there will be a storm today, if it gets worse we may go into lockdown.’ Now I know it you could just Intercon it but it could add to the realism in the game.
Now I know there may be other things that you can do daily announcements for, but I feel like adding this could add a bit of touch of realism in the game and also tell players about upcoming things. It's not an important feature to add, more of a fun thing to add.
