I am a college student with a rather flexible schedule, allowing me to maintain activity on the server.
My current playtime is:
This was influenced by a rather long break i had to take due to personal circumstances.
Those times have passed however, meaning my activity is returning to the norm.
On average, I usually spend around 4-7 hours on SRP per day, depending on what is currently happening.
This is influenced by my membership in the Occult Club and a security job at Pinkumo.

What is your motivation for applying?:
One of the main reasons I have always wanted to apply is the athmosphere and the aesthetic. I admire the roleplay perspective of things. Since I was ever so slightly invested in GangRP for a short amount of time, I would love to see the roleplay from the KPD's perspective.
Beyond my interest in the faction's perspective, I seek to actively contribute to the department's daily operational flow, both In and Out of Character.
What knowledge do you have of Police Work?
My knowledge on Police work in Karakura is little to none, only the informations, that are shared publicly through threads and on discord, unfortunately, but I hope to change this.

Why is Police important to SchoolRP?
I believe no city can operate well without any sort of policing, upholding laws, bringing those who break these laws to justice, as well as protecting the civilians from wildlife and nature. Without any police force around, the crime rate in the streets would increase rapidly, because there wouldn't be anyone to bring the criminals to face the consequences for their actions.

Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?
Standing at 183 cm (6'0") with an athletic build, Akari carries herself with a grounded, practical presence shaped by years of physical discipline.
Her long brown hair is typically tied back in a neat ponytail, framing sharp grey eyes that maintain a observant focus. Off-duty, her style is simple and understated, frequently favoring crisp white shirts, suspenders, and tailored grey trousers.
What truly sets Akari apart is her deeply ingrained sense of responsibility.
Having stepped into a protective, caretaker role early in life, she naturally projects an approachable demeanor around her colleagues. This protective side of hers is also quite a flaw at times, since she would recklessly charge towards people to protect them, disregarding her own safety. Not to mention her problem handling skills, which stems from her having to take many of the responsibilities. Another flaw of hers is the inability to read the room and people well enough.
Also as a bonus, Akari talks about herself in 3rd person (me, mine, my etc. -> Akari, this old-timer, she, her, I think you get what I mean ^^)
How does your character act in a professional/casual situation?
In professional situations, Akari is focused, and respectful of the chain of command. She listens closely to her higher-ups and collaborates effectively with her fellow officers. Even during intense or high-stress calls, she maintains a composed, steady demeanor rather than giving in to panic. However during certain situations, Akari might develop a sort of 'tunnel vision', mainly because of her overprotectiveness. This state may be broken through with her colleagues help.
In casual settings, Akari relaxes into a warm persona. Having been a caretaker for most of her life, she naturally checks in on everyone dear for her, be it colleagues, or family. Off-duty Akari seems almost distant, being focused on one of her favorite things, snacks. She may be a bit blunt at times, but not because she wants to be, it is because she doesn't understand she is.
What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork?
"Akari and teamwork? Akari firmly believes in the principle that strength lies in numbers, especially in a high-risk environment like law enforcement where solo action can easily turn dangerous. Teamwork is the backbone of any good functioning job environment. No officer should ever face the city's threats alone, this can only be achieved by coordination, mutual trust and communication."
Basically, Akari is a hypocrite, but she doesn't even realize: she says 'no officer should face the threats alone', but then she would jump in to help a civilian, while being outnumbered without even thinking about it.

She was found passed out, dangerously intoxicated, and was rushed to the hospital. It was there she met a compassionate paramedic who didn’t just patch her up, she talked to her, listened, and shared her own story of hardship.
Akari never forgot her words: "You can't carry the world on your back if you're too broken to walk."
That moment changed everything.
Determined to reclaim control, Akari sought treatment, quit drinking, and began setting boundaries for herself. She structured her days carefully, balancing school, work, and rest, learning not to overwork her body or her mind. She realized she didn’t have to do everything perfectly; she just had to keep trying.
One night, while working a night shift at a local shop, Akari noticed flashing lights and loud shouting from across the street. It was the corner store in her hometown. Something felt wrong. She ran across the road and kicked open the door, only to see her two siblings, Yuki and Hana, huddled behind a shelf. Armed robbers were threatening the cashier.
Her heart stopped. Then it caught fire.
One of the thugs had noticed her siblings and began mocking them, shoving them around for fun. Akari’s fear turned to rage. Without thinking of her own safety, she threw herself into the fray, tackling one of the assailants. The others jumped on her, and a brutal fight broke out. It was three against one, but Akari didn’t back down. She took punches, even a few hits from a baseball bat, but she got back up. Every time. She refused to fall, not while her siblings' lives were on the line.
The chaos gave the shopkeeper just enough time to call the police. When they arrived minutes later, they found Akari still fighting, bloodied but standing, shielding her siblings. The thugs were arrested, and Akari received first aid from officers before the paramedics arrived. True to form, she insisted on checking on everyone else, her siblings, the cashier, even one of the trembling bystanders, before allowing herself to be taken into the ambulance.
From that day on, her siblings saw her as more than a sister, they saw her as their protector. Their real mother in all but name.

Unfortunately, this did not yield any results, as she was always rejected. This, along with a small nudge from a friend of hers, led her to join into a gang. This gang was disguised as a vigilante group making sure to disrupt other gangs and make it easier for the KPD to destroy them for good (or for them to fall apart on their own.) The gang was short-lived and soon fell apart.
Akari had realized that this act was still against the law, and started to repent right away.

"Well, first things first, Akari would make sure her body camera is turned on. Then depending on the amount of assilants, Akari would call for backup. If only one coworker was present, this old-timer would try to separate the two as fast as possible. After this situation would get under control, Akari would check the inmate for all injuries acquired from this altercation, making sure to give them proper treatment, as well as documenting everything thoroughly. In the events of a critical injury, Akari would call for EMS immediately. After the inmate has been cleared as okay, Akari would confront the co-worker, making sure they are apprehended and prosecuted for this act of cruelty and violence on an unarmed civilian. Although yes, Akari understands some inmates might be terrible people, but this doesn't mean we should seek 'revenge'. The police is here to protect and serve the people of our city, not to harm those already in custody, serving their time."

Yet again, if one or two suspects are endangering Akari's colleague, she would quickly rush in, believing in the power of herself and the colleague. After the situation has been handled, Akari would tend to any injuries either side would sustain, calling in EMS should the need arise."

"Akari doesn't want to even believe people in such a noble position as the police force would fall to the wordly corruption of money. Since this would prompt a serious accusation, one would of course need solid evidence. This evidence would then be brought to the commissioner."

"Bribes? This would prompt Akari to inform them they are trying to bribe an officer, which is a fineable offence, and would advice them to stop this behaviour. If, of course, they continue, they would take away Akari's option to be cool about it, which would result in the trusty notepad being opened, with a written fine imminent for the person trying to bribe. Akari doesn't understand why people would even try this, who on Earth thinks this would work?"
