Darriel was born in Kenya, he was born into wealth with his parents, although they were rich, he was not treated like a rich person, instead, Darriel’s parents were extremely strict with him, watching his every move, yet they were free with him, encouraging discovery, this kept Darriel’s immune system balanced, letting him grow up to be a strong , healthy boy, Darriel didn’t attend school with his peers, instead, he stayed at home, being home-schooled.
Darriel struggled with school work, finding Maths extremely hard for him, although it slowed him down slightly, it did not stop him, instead, encouraging him to strive towards his goal, Darriel exceeded in Literature and History, being above average for his age, although Darriel was mediocre in other subjects, he still passed.
By the time Darriel turned 16, he decided to drop out, and he took some of his parent’s money and explored his country. His first stop being Kisumu, one of the largest cities in Kenya, when he first entered the city, his senses were bombarded, a mix of spices and dust, Darriel didn’t expect what he had seen, a large rural area, the polar opposite to the villages that Darriel had been used to back home, eager, he pondered around the city, bewildered, this set off a chain reaction, by the time he had turned 17, Darriel had seen almost all there was to see in Kenya.
So, in search of more thrill, Darriel did his research, and found out that a place in Japan called Karakura was a hotspot for tourists, so he decided to try it out, he found out soon that he’d come to love Karakura, for its education, sights, and the community in general, well, most of it, so Darriel instinctively decided to move to Karakura, where he lives in search of a better education.
