Please answer these questions from an In Character standpoint.

What is your name?
"Kano Sennari, a pleasure."

What is your age and grade?
"I am 20, and I'm a College Bachelor's."

What is your motivation to lead a club within the school? (250+ words)
"For a while now, I've felt that there was somewhat of a vacuum in the club hierarchy, ye? I done some debate when I was like, younger. I keep myself updated on the stuff related to debates worldwide, and lately thought about restartin' this club, which has a not so stellar reputation for stayin' active. I plan to change that. I'm interested in the inner workin' of the clubs, especially how I have quite a few friends that are leaders, ye? This is somethin' I always enjoyed, at least when I did it, and plan to return to enjoyin', but I can't do it alone - And I want others to feel the enjoyment out of this, too. A place like this could give an answer to many people looking to debate over their favorite things, everythin' except for politics. This should be a place that people can get WEIRD! I wanna get weird over science facts, argue about 'em and sometimes even learn new things. This is the best example for a debate club. It shouldn't be rigid and suits and stuff. It needs to be informal, but should work like a well oiled machine. I love hearing people argue and debate, and I keep watching online debates, as debaters online have immense knowledge in many fields. I strive to be like them, and one of the first steps in my opinion - Is to restart this club, make it amazing, better than it ever was. Thanks for listenin' to me, this is SUPER important for me."

Why choose you over other candidates applying for this position? (50+ words)
"I feel like I have much more life knowledge. Debate requires not just facts and science to stand by your point. It requires things like real life experience on basically anythin'! I, personally, have a #### tonna' life experience. I've been through almost anythin' you can imagine. I'm a super enthusiastic person, so this club will be in good hands. What matters isn't just the leader though - It's also everyone else. SUPER important to have other people. It's basically a community for me. Realistically, without any members, no club would exist."

The Debate Club is a place for all to express themselves. Argue about whatever you want, aside from politics, and keep it friendly! The club won't judge you over anything. Having an opinion matters, and we want to hear from you. The club will be very active and will actively engage with students, faculty, SLT and other clubs alike.

You may ask any teacher or professor that is not already a supervisor, if you can not find one, one will be provided to you upon acceptance.
No, I do not have anyone in mind right now.

Will there be any requirements of future members to join your club?
Yes! Mostly being open to RP and some drama, and having to be active!

Provide one school-wide event that your club may host
1788118519133.png
A few groups of 6 people are gathered, and are told a topic of what they need to be debating about, and it will be a random pick. They have 5 minutes to prepare. It could be anything, from would a billion lions beat all Pokemon, to is cereal a soup. The roles are as follows:

Speaker 1 - Prime Minister - "Proposition 1"
You define the topic for the debate, after being told the general idea of what it should be about. Presents the first main 2 arguments.

Speaker 2 - Leader Of Opposition - "Opposition 1"

Accepts or tweaks the definitions, directly attacks Prop 1’s points, and introduces the Opposition’s main case.

Speaker 3 - "Proposition 2"
Rebuilds Prop 1's attacked points, destroys Opposition 1's arguments, and introduces one final new point.

Speaker 4 - "Opposition 2"
They attack all remaining Proposition points, defend Opposition 1, and wrap up the new arguments for their side.

CLOSERS
These speakers CANNOT introduce new arguments, AT ALL. They look at all the given facts, and settle them neatly.

Closer 1 - Speaker 5 - "Proposition 3 (Prop whip)"
Summarizes the entire debate into 2 or 3 major "clash points." Explains why their side won those specific battles, and why they SHOULD win.

Closer 2 - Speaker 6 - "Opposition 3 (Oppo whip)"
Gets the final word of the debate. Re-summarizes the clashes and delivers the final punchline as to why the Proposition's case completely crumbled.

After this, the crowd (if one exists), may choose which side did it best. The winning side is given complimentary cheap crowns as a sign of a total victory on the opposing team.

Provide one flash event that your club may host

The answer keys to the final exams set to help everyone graduate and become a year older, HAVE DISAPPEARED! The principal is obviously mad, and points fingers at ALL of the clubs. This requires some if not all of the clubs to join the event. The club leads each get a DM from the principal, but only one person gets a DM saying THEY ACTUALLY stole the answer keys, and they must hide it as best as they can using their club members. The Debate Club gets 30-50 minutes to interview, investigate and reveal their findings. If they find who did it, they win! If they don't, they get blamed for the stolen answer keys and get a 50% budget reduction for a whole month.

Provide one club activity that your club might host
1788118485970.png
An activity that is done clear night sky. It's silent outside, and the club members are all in their pajamas somewhere in the forest where there's a clearing. The members have hot chocolate, enjoying their well deserved rest after a few unfortunate events that took place in the school, perhaps. BUT THEN!! A spirit appears, and tells them they have to debate to win their peaceful night back! The spirit is of an expert debater in the past and has 2 other spirits aside it, that are also proficient in debates, but the debate club members are no fools, as they came prepared, prepared to win ANY debate. It will be a 3v3 and another 3v3 on two different topics. The debate starts getting heated, and the teams are getting to their points amazingly. They keep going at each other's throats, getting more and more desperate to win their not-so-peaceful night back. If they win, they get their peaceful night back, and they also enjoy the spirit's company as it has calmed down, eating smore's with them. If they don't, they're kicked out of the area they're in by the spirits, never to return!
