Discord Ban suggestion

WHAT YOU WANT TO SUGGEST OR MENTION:
Applying Server Bans / Mutes to players on discord (Ex, if someone gets banned for toxicity on the MC server, they should also be banned from the main discords)
HOW WILL THIS BENEFIT THE SERVER/COMMUNITY?:
Since people, when they are banned on the Minecraft server, are still unbanned on the main discord, it gives them an opportunity to continue their behavior and annoy other people chatting on there. They don't need access to the discord if they are banned, especially if they proceed to annoy/break more rules in the process (They can friend request their friends + ya don't need the discord for ban appeals as it's all hosted on the forums)

If it is, then sick, but id like to suggest it other bans aswell. Atleast a mute should be in place in my opinion.

yeah, i agree with that. but I feel like it should be depending on the ban. (e.g. people banned for toxicity or such should be muted)

It isn’t in place for Permanently banned players though, if it is, then I don’t know what to say, unless you mean “Toxicity” or such

I’m pretty sure it is. Depending on the ban, you’d usually be banned from the discord if it’s perm.

Though it is true that we only permanently ban players from discord with no previous warning in the cases of unappealable bans, we make sure not to tolerate any sort of harassment/trollish/malicious behavior in any RPH-Related server. The sole reason why Minecraft bans don't apply to Discord is that they may need it for communication with staff members, or simply because they are banned for FailRP-related matters that don't involve Toxicity whatsoever (It wouldn't make sense to ban them for that). Anyhow, if someone proceeds to break any major rule in any of our discord servers, they will be banned immediately, sometimes without previous warnings (in the case of sending malicious links, for example)

That's why my opinion will remain at a solid Neutral, though a system of OOC mutes can indeed be put in place and could work

We already ban players who have unappealable bans from our SRP discords, this does not apply to normal permanent bans unless the player has broken a rule which relates to discord or the safety of other users. Aside from that, we ban players from Discord for Discord-related offences
