Do ban appeals usually take 5 months?

It's been 5 months since i submitted a ban appeal (1 year since i originally got banned), there's still no reply. i don't really know if there's anything I can do to at least get it reviewed :/
has anyone else gone through this?

Ban Appeals get checked when the Admin+ who sent out the punishment, looks over said appeal. You just have to wait!

THIS IS NORMAL?????? wow.. Im also waiting, it's been half a year since my 'advertising' ban appeal... , I thought they just forgot yk
