I was texting my American friends and yk how ppl normally repeat a word spelling if there is a typo, well they did it when I used "learnt" and I was hella confused until we all learnt that American English don't use it.

Mix of both but it depends on the context. When I'm trying to sound smart or extend a letter count I use 'Learned', but I say it as 'Learnt' and spell it as that often too

See, to me, its interchangeable based on context. My vocabulary has always been like that, like Caramel (cara-mel) would be used to describe something in that of a colour. Caramel (Car-mel) would be used in the sense of flavor. Thats the way I see it.

Even then, I see myself using "learnt" more.

It depends on the context and sentence structure, but I generally enjoy using both forms of the same tense.

It honestly depends! If im talking with adults I use learned! Learned is proper American english! But Learnt is proper english if your from the uk! Im from America and learnt is more slang here, so if Im texting people my age or just talking I say learnt! But more then often I usually just say learned!
