Why are Teachers so important to SchoolRP?:
Teachers are important to SRP because they make the school feel realistic, by providing lessons, creating roleplay opportunities, guiding students and helping keep a positive school environment. Without teacher SchoolRP shouldnt really be called a schoolRP.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive you may lose your role?:
Yes
Do you agree to undergo teacher training if your application is successful?:
Yes
What is your motivation for becoming a Teacher?:
There are genuinely a lot of reasons on why I want to become a teacher. I’ve previously been in the faction for almost 7 months, maybe even longer. Even though I lost motivation to host at some point, I still really enjoyed the faction. I loved interacting with students in my classes, creating fun and interactive lessons and much more stuff. I would like to return to the factions so I can once again experience all these things.

She offered the interviewer a soft smile before speaking “My name is Yumi, Yumi Akori… my friends call me Yu.” She slowly moved some of her hair behind her ear waiting for the next question

She let out a quiet scuffle and shook her head “Dear, a lady should never have to say her age. I'm clearly 25” She said jokingly “I’m joking… I'm 42 years old…. haha”
What is your preferred subject to teach?:

Yumi Akori is a 42 year old lady who is kind, patient, approachable and reliable. She has a calming personality and always tries to make others feel comfortable around her, due to her educational background she is mature, professional and responsible.
She stands at around 5’8” with a good looking appearance, she has a slightly tanned skin and long dark hair that falls past her shoulders, often styled neatly to look professional. She has hazel eyes and a gentle smile.

Yumi Akori is a 42 year old lady who is kind, patient, approachable and reliable. She has a calming personality and always tries to make others feel comfortable around her, due to her educational background she is mature, professional and responsible.

A student in class is struggling to understand the content, what would your character do?:
Yumi would remain patient and understanding with the student. She understands that everyone learns differently and on their own pace, so she would take the time to explain the lesson in a fun and easier way for them to understand. She would also encourage the student to ask questions and make sure they feel comfortable asking for help, if that doesnt work she will suggest for the student to get a tutor.
An action for the situation:
Yumi would notice the student looking confused during the lesson, she slowly walked over to them with a warm smile before slightly crouching down beside their desk “Are you having troubles understanding something?” she asked in a calm voice, after listening to their problems she would explain the lesson again but now using simple demonstrations. Before walking away she would ask if they understood the material now.
A student is continuously being disruptive in class, talking out of turn, and making jokes with classmates. What would your character do?:
Yumi would stay calm and professionally while addressing the students behaviour. she would give the student a warning and remind them of the rules if they keep being disruptive then she would give them detention.
An action for the situation:
Yumi would pause her lesson and glance towards the student, she folded her arms lightly like she would when her kids are fighting “Please stop disrupting the class, thanks”
If the student continues after multiple warnings;
She walks over to the desk and writes them a detention slip and hands it over to them “I will be seeing you in detention.” she return to the front an continues with her lesson.
Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas related to your preferred subject:
Fitness challenge:
Yumi would divide the class into 3-4 groups and bring them all to the GYM, the one in school or the one outside of school which would then be seen as a field trip. Each stations would be focusing on a different exercise, such as jumping jacks, squats, sit-ups, etc. Students would rotate after a few minutes so they can all do each exercise, at the ebd if the class they will rate and discuss which exercise they liked the best and why.
Obstacle course;
Yumi would ask one of the SLT members to make an obstacle course for her class using cones, ladders, whatever they want. Students will then have to finish the obstacle cours as fast as possible and top 3 will receive a sticker at the end of class
(I’ve seen this been done before and I really liked this idea)
