Describe your activity and roleplay experience on the server:
During the summer of 2025 I'd start my journey on SRP, in the first few months I did not get into much notable involvement on my character. However by the beginning of 2026 I would rework my character and made an effort to play the server in a generally more purposeful manner, in the sense of actively searching for opportunities to engage with the community and server as a whole.
This started with acceptance to Spartan-Baseball on my primary character and then down the line joining the Reporter Faction. Both factions which I am still on and am playing actively (Sports: 5 months, Reporter: 4 months). Outside of faction involvement I actively sought out activity through other means, notably joining two clubs, Occult and Gaming, the first of which I have officially become a member of after the approval of my trial membership (WOO!!). Outside of academics, I have joined two shops as a Cashier to better familiarize myself with the Shop system on the server, as well, recently began involvement in FamilyRP.
In regards to ACTUAL availability below is the general schedule I am free and can usually be found on the server in some manner or another. Times below are presented in CST:

In your own words, why do you think professors are important to SchoolRP?
Given the position Professors are in regarding academics they play a very important role for those students attending courses to develop there characters and engage with the server. Given the larger audience that High school classes present to compared to College classes they'll often fill up extremely quickly with dozens of students. This can be fun and exciting but if either your or your character don't work well in such environments it can potentially be a struggle. Professors and College courses offer a less packed environment to attend lectures and engage with other students and Professors. Professors act to nurture such an environment to engage students creatively whether through DetailRP or various Games and lectures.
This however reflects my experience playing a College student, outside of this they offer other benefits to the server as a whole! As students focus on what their character majors in or projects they wish to expand on (PHD) Professors operate as guides or potential characters to engage with. For example, if a player decides to have there character focus on Cooking in some form they'll have opportunities to join Culinary classes and talk with professors in that department to better finalize there character.
Do you acknowledge that if you are inactive, you may face demotion or removal from the faction?
Yes, I acknowledge this!
Do you understand if your application is accepted, you may have to undergo professor training?:
Yes, I also acknowledge this!

In-Character Information
What's your character's full name?
Extended his hand, offering a handshake but quickly worrying whether his palm might be sweaty. Leading to a jagged extension of his hand as he did so before fully committing "I'm Hughie Lockhart, Hugh is fine uh- I've been called it before" he'd state, knowing full well he'd added on to the answer needlessly.
Age (Minimum is 27):
He glanced out the window briefly before responding "32, I was born in the winter of 1994." making brief eye contact as he spoke, for some reason he'd debated whether his age was appropriate for the position. It was especially for Karakura standards, but the thought lingered regardless.
Nationality:
Nodded "I was born in Perth, Scotland. . . So Scottish, perhaps some English lies dormant in there somewhere but yeah- Scottish." he would state, rambling a tad-bit to long as he spoke.
Preferred Subject:
Lockhart would sit up straight in response to the question, preparing himself an answer as if he'd some how run out of time to respond. "Economics, specifically Applied economics, which is- well its a long story I'll save it for another date." he would murmur, his voice slowly down as his statement came to an end.
Describe the character: How do they look and act? What makes them unique and different? What are their plans for the future? Optionally, what is their past?
Appearance: Hughie Lockhart stands with adequate posture at 5'10 1/2 (179cm) a height he should be content with if it weren't for the fact that its just under 180 cm and 6 feet. Preferring round numbers he may lie if asked, still not over being just under what he had hoped. Glancing towards him you'd first notice his curly dull-orange hair, which appears as if it should of been cut roughly a month ago. Catching his gaze you'll notice dark eyebrows, emerald-green eyes with hints of hazel circling the iris, and freckles appearing below and surrounding his eyes, the rest of his face fairly clear of marks or blemishes. With a knack for reading outside his skin has a tanned over the years, while not exactly notable it merely prevents a much paler tone from showing through.
Uniqueness: Lockhart is in no manner an introvert, he enjoys to talk with others, but this doesn't stop him from being a nervous and bumbling mess around those he doesn't know. With a diet that's perhaps made up of one-to-many cups of Coffees he seems to have a large sum of excess energy available. This all comes together to form the one and only Hughie Lockhart, passionate, motivated and really just struggling to fit into his role as a newly hired Professor. But amongst all of this he still holds true to his values, hoping to nurture an engaging and caring atmosphere at his place of work for both the students he lectures and those he works with.
His Past: Born in Perth, Scotland many years ago Lockhart notable past would begin live a simple life with his Parents and four siblings before he moved some miles away to the University of Edinburgh once he was 18 and had finished up his secondary schooling. While there, Lockhart would emphasis his education albeit for a busier schedule. Majoring in both History and Economics during his bachelors period. After graduating, Lockhart would work for two years as a Archivist, in which he would discover his enjoyment of Stamp collecting and old Western films. With an embarrassing amount of money spent on purchasing original copies of both, slowly filling up his handy stamp collection notebook which of course he brings with himself daily. Following this period Lockhart would return to university once more at his Alma mater, this round majoring in Microeconomics for his masters degree, finishing it after two years he would bounce quickly to a PHD program at a different university. Now working on his thesis in Applied Economics at the University of Cambridge. Finishing his thesis defense we find ourselves near modern day, as Lockhart would proceed to begin applying to Professor positions across the globe, not discriminating in regards to location merely trying to find work for his focus. In which he stumbled upon an application for the notable town of Karakura City. Sending over his CV Lockhart would wait patiently for a response.
His Future: Hughie Lockhart after finishing his academics, at least for now, hopes merely to put his work to use. With god-knows how many hours and years put into his various degrees its about time for him to make use of them. First starting by applying for Professor roles wherever they may be needed. This being only a glimpse of his broader goals however, with the main element being a hope to make an impact. With education being what he knows and a approachable avenue for this venture marking its beginning point. But more broadly, putting his findings to use to benefit local economies with a Micro-economic approach. Lockhart has given considerable thought into how he can play a role in local communities outside of just his area of expertise, understanding the importance of civic engagement. Lockhart hopes in his years to come to make a difference and to meet those standing in agreeance with this idea.
What is their outlook on students and their co-workers?
As a recent graduate himself, making his way through the entire realm of academics (Bachelors, Masters, PHD) he has a very understanding and hopeful view for students. Wishing for them to discover and find there focus as he did, and why not enjoy the process? Classes should be something you enjoy, yes lectures are effective at presenting the information but do they really foster a sense of learning? This influences his teaching style and general attitude towards students. Hoping to foster a learning environment that is engaging and productive.
This motivation however doesn't directly to extend to his co-workers. Going straight from academia as a student to a Professor is quite a switch, and Lockhart feels a tad bit out of place because of that. After being in college for so many years he understands how a Professor should act, what they should say, and what is expected of them. But actually being one? Totally different ballpark, he feels he can play the part correctly but that doesn't stop the feeling of imposter syndrome from popping up. Because of this, Lockhart wishes to fester close and meaningful relationships with his co-workers so they can benefit each other either through dual-classes or generally just knowing who to talk to. However, for the time being Lockhart may stumble over his words when first speaking with coworkers and will latch on to any overlap between the two in hopes it cultivate a professional relationship.
What is their motivation for becoming a professor?:
Following his first year in his Masters program, majoring in Micro-Economics, with his full focus devoted to it as opposed to his academics before which was split between it and History, Hughie would find himself doubting the field as a whole. Acknowledging an overemphasis to theory instead of application he was upset with the direction the field took, believing that if it wanted to focus it self as a science that an emphasis on real application of rules and outcomes should be expected. Rather then dabbling in nonsensical debate regarding schools of thoughts Hughie preferred a focus on what could be applied and could lead to real outcomes. This was a major part in his motivation to work begin his PHD work in Applied Economics and following his journey in academics as a professor. Knowing that many of those attending Economics courses would only receive introductory courses Lockhart wished to provide a course load that provided students only the most valuable of information to be found in that field. Giving up a life of debate and theory crafting as expected by other Economists Lockhart would teach what was known to be true, a change he was fully comfortable with.

Roleplay Scenarios
A jock is ignoring your lesson and throwing paper balls at another student, what would your character do?
While yapping away as Lockhart often does his eyes would cross the room looking hopeful for a student with a potential question or statement to add to the discussion when his eyes would catch it. A popular student, a jock, picking on a student in front of them. Neither students, especially the one being picked on, would be able to engage with the lecture under these circumstances. Snapping towards the jock he'd get there attention "You'll focus better up here." he would say, if they wished to act like a child they can be treated as such. "Now- returning to the lecture" he said giving a quick glare to make clear his disappointment to the jock. Sighing, before continuing his lecture, merely wishing the students would understand the privilege's held by being able to attend such courses.
A student doesn’t seem to understand the material, yet hasn’t requested help, what would your character do?
Looking throughout the classroom as the lecture proceeded, making mental notes of students engagement and focus when it comes to the material he finds one student in particular who while focused seemed to visually be struggling with the material. Picking up on the subtle changes, a distressed facial appearance, or an anxious and jittery energy as they listened. Hoping to care for the issue at its root Lockhart would speak up, "How is everyone feeling with the material, any questions?" he asked, making sure to provide a slight gaze towards the student at hand. Perhaps this subtle nudge would push them to make a request. If this action failed to lead to a request Lockhart would be forced to take further steps, whether by allowing students to work amongst themselves or waiting till the lecture came to its natural end Lockhart would speak directly with the student, perhaps a lack of a crowd would lead to better results, "The material was a tad-bit complex today. Any questions or concerns you might have?" he would ask, non-judgingly to the student with a slight tilt of the head. Waiting for the students response to either provide the support they need or to decipher what to pivot to next, always in an effort to address the students needs.
When in the faculty lounge, how does your character act?
Entering the faculty lounge Lockhart would rub his palms together in a plot to redeem his daily hot dog provided by the school, as an Economics professor he understood the value of FREE! Making his way he'd notice other staff in the lounge, perhaps the sight of him ravaging a room-temperature hotdog wouldn't be the best first impression. "Good afternoon" he would nod, to the other incumbents, squinting towards them making an effort to read there faculty badges. Perhaps recognizing a name from the faculty roster in a topic he knew about. Thank goodness, a history professor he recognized the name of stood in front of him. Pivoting towards the fellow employee he'd stir up conversation "History right?" he state, pointing at them, "I majored in such during my bachelors. What's your area of focus?" stated calmly but internally struggling, a tad bit worried he's coming off to well-informed of this stranger. But, nonetheless it was a necessary evil, knowing deep down once he got the initial conversations out of the way he wouldn't struggle talking to them from this point forward.
Provide at least 2 interactive class ideas and one field trip idea related to your subject
Class #1: Macro vs. Micro Economics
Starting off Lockhart would provide the students a description of both Macro and Micro economics, declaring the differences and then performing a check of the students understanding. Beginning with a quick, less engaging check, simply for those brave enough to answer. "Can anyone brave enough provide me a question you might see and whether its Macro or Micro? Any right answers get a, you guessed it, sticker!" he'd say, waving his stamp book around provoking the students. Once answers were provided, first comes first serve, and stickers have been handed out Lockhart would move onto a more engaging activity for the students. "The wall near the window, that's Macro. The wall near the door, that's Micro! Now, I'll state. . . SOMETHING and you walk swiftly to the wall you believe it is! Any questions?" He'd state, looking around gauging the rooms energy level. "Inflation?!" He'd yell, watching at students scatter, those paying attention making there way to the window. "A Coffee Shop?!" yelled once more, watching as hopefully a majority of students had made there way to the opposing wall. Continuing this exercise for the students, as he notably does not have to walk back and forth between walls, the class would come to and end. Once finished, he'd proceed to enter the online portal and assign homework for the attending students. A single question, provide one example for both Micro and Macro economics for two examples total! Sitting back, awaiting the students responses to be graded.
Class #2: Subjective Value
Lockhart, motivated to show economics in action to his students, would set out to provide an engaging class that presents various economic concepts to the students through there very own actions! That being, subjective value, a concept that an items worth isn't merely its production cost but instead the individual desires and want for such an item powered by personal preference. Opting to not give much description until after the activity Lockhart would pass out three papers to each student with letters scratched onto to them. What are they exactly? Simple, pieces of paper with a single color noted on each. But, with the random various spread across the room each student had a random pairing. Alongside this, passing out 10 tickets to each student. With a currency in play students would be allowed to discuss amongst themselves and make trades, how much would a student be willing to trade in tickets for there favorite color? Would students begin trading one color for another, all such answers would be solved as students formed a market-economy amongst themselves. Now, for a quick surprise! Whichever student collected the most of one color paper would be provided. . . as ticker! Only after which a lecture would occur, discussing subjective value and how the roll of personal preferences came into play as students fought for there favorite color with various exchanges occurring. Once finished, Lockhart would assign once again a homework to the students. Keeping it simple this time "What two objects were exchanged in class?" he'd type, before hitting submit and slapping his laptop down after a long days work.
Field trip #1:
A big day is ahead! The students, and required additional faculty staff, will be making a trip to the local Concert hall, where musicians perform for all those willing to see- at least for a price. During this trip, the course will focus on the economics surrounding ticket prices, the role supply holds in price making, potential forms of revenue outside of ticket sales, as well as the role value holds in price making. The concert hall acts a a relatively safe and not-to-distant location for the class to take a trip to. As compared to a risky trip to the forest the Concert hall doesn't hold any risks of wild animals or leg cramps from excessive hiking. As well, offers more relative subject material with it operating as a business for various events held in the city.
