PERSONALITY
Elora always knew that she was an introvert, at first glance and first meetings she'd seem closed off and very quiet, distant from the people around her. She plays the gentle and stand-offish part whenever she doesn't know anyone but once getting to know her, she's a total sweetheart and loyal to her friends. She'd open up and show her goofy side, along with speaking up a lot more and might say some stupid stuff to show she's comfortable around people.

BACKSTORY
Elora was born in an upper middle class family in Osaka, Japan. At a young age, she never really had a social life since they moved around all over Japan, never sitting tight in one place for too long. She grew very close with her parents, more specifically her mother. Her father would tend to leave for work early in the morning and come home late at night while her mother stayed home, Elora knew her mother was sick ever since she was two. Spending time with her mum was something she always cherished especially when her mum taught her JSL so they could communicate better.
Her mother had terrible hearing even with hearing aids so she always relied on JSL causing Elora to understand it perfectly, she used it in every day life and at school, this caused people to believe that she was deaf and that Elora wouldn't be able to hear all the nasty things they would say behind her back. It's what caused her to be so distant from people, never wanting to create a friendship with anyone which lead her to let them believe those stupid lies.
She would never speak to anyone (out loud) and only respond in JSL, she kept that secret to herself and even used it to her advantage when wanting to get out of conversations she never wanted to be in in the first place, that's when she moved to Karakura. She could be free from her parents, living by herself and a new start to everything. It was finally time for Elora to start fresh and possibly branch herself out to different experiences.
