List your current and past IC/OOC faction applications:
I have none, unfortunately.
Describe your activity on the server:
I’m very active on the server as of current and have been for the past few months. I joined SRP back in the summer of 2023, if I’m correct, and took a break around Spring or maybe Summer of 2024, but returned late 2024 and have been active ever since. I usually get online around noon or afternoonish since that’s usually when people are most active. I then usually log off around after midnight. When I’m online though, I would usually be on my Highschool Baseball character messing around or my GangRP character, depending if there is anything going on. If nothing is really happening, I would just hop onto another character like my College or anybody else I have in my slots and just chill around. I do interact with a lot of people though, when I’m on those characters. Examples being: My baseball character is part of a family that has some relatives around, one of them being a psychiatrist, actually. Then there is interacting with the team and other jocks alike. Another example would be my GangRP (now former GangRP character) character interacting with his members and other criminals.

What is your motivation for applying?:
My motivation for applying for KPD is pretty much self-explanatory I would say, as I've never been part of a faction on the server besides being on a Sports team. I've been wanting to try out for KPD for quite a while now, as I think it would be a fun roleplay experience to be a KPD officer as I've always been on the opposite side, that being a criminal! In my personal opinion, I think I would work much better in a faction like this than any other due to my experience of CrimeRP/GangRP. So far, I've been in two major gangs (I would say) which those being the infamous "Black Dragons" and the somewhat new gang being "Parabellum" which is Unverified Status right now. I was actually a higher-up in both of those gangs, as I've worked up in the ranks to prove to be the best.
What knowledge do you have of Police Work?
I’ve never been in the faction or any faction for that matter, but I’ll say I have some decent knowledge about how the KPD operates due to my experiences with roleplaying as a criminal and being behind bars. I also had friends that have been in the faction who’ve told me some basic stuff cause I was curious.

EQUIPMENT
ITEMS
DESCRIPTION
STATS
Handcuffs
One of the most important items that an Officer can have. The MIGHTY handcuffs! They are usually used for detaining, but they could also be used to temporarily restrain someone.
- If the opposing side is stunned, it's automatic honors.
- If the opposing side isn't stunned, then you must roll to cuff them if they want to resist the arrest.
- Cannot be mugged.
Baton
Another important item in the KPD arsenal! The baton pretty much works as a baseball bat would but with a different texture and model.
- 2 block range.
- Requires 2 hits for a K.O.
- Muggable.
- You will need an action to take the weapon out.
Stun Blaster
A Stun Blaster, which I would say is the most legendary to have as a KPD officer is used to stun any criminal that tries fleeing.
- Effect lasts for a minute.
- Cannot be used in water.
- 8 block range.
- Cannot be mugged.
Tranquilizer
Pretty much like the Stun Blaster, but with a longer range.
- Around 30 block range.
- Must require an action and a roll if in range.
- Also requires an action and a roll to reload 2 darts for the weapon.
- Effect lasts for a minute.
Police Radio
This item is used for communication between KPD and EMS, usually to send codes and locations.
- Cannot be mugged.
- Could be broken with a blunt weapon such as a baseball bat or a sharp.
Body Camera
Attached to the uniform and constantly recording.
- Cannot be mugged.
- Waterproof.
- Could be broken with a blunt weapon such as a baseball bat or a sharp.
Riot Shield
A defense and offense item that depends on which hand is holding it. In your main hand, it would be in "defense mode," meaning you cannot use it offensively. If you place it in your off-hand, then you may use it for offense.
- Main hand: Defense.
- Off-hand: Offense.
- Muggable.
- Usually while in Riot Gear.
Gas Mask
Used by both EMS and KPD to prevent chemical effects like Pepper Spray
- Immune to Pepper Spray.
- Muggable.
Pepper Spray
Also both used by EMS and KPS! Used to temporarily blind a suspect.
- Effects won't work on a person with a Gas Mask.
Luminol Spray
Applied to items to detect any blood that cannot be seen by the human eye, which is usually dried blood.
- ItemRP Item
- Requires an action for use.

Why is Police important to SchoolRP?
KPD is important to SRP in multiple different ways, the most notable one being the opposition to crime. Karakura, the city or island (whatever you want to call it) has a major amount of people roaming the streets committing crime each and every day it seems. Whether that being assault, murder or anything of the sort. KPD is there to stop it at any means necessary (of course, abiding by the law of Karakura)
Do you acknowledge that if training is held whilst you are online, you are needed to attend or you will be punished?
Yes, I acknowledge and understand.

In-Character (IC) Section
What's your character's full name?:
The woman walked into the room, taking a quick glance before pulling the chair out and taking a seat. She gave a warm and brief smile to the interviewer before answering.
“Hello, I’m Etaria Alexandrite! Thank you for your time. It’s a pleasure!”
How old is your character (if accepted)?:
“I’m currently 27 years old, actually turning 28 next month!”
"Let me get my ID for you!" She reached into her purse and pulled out her government-issued identification card, holding it out in her hand for the interviewer to take it. "I have my hair dyed blonde, if you were wondering why it says 'black' on the ID..!"

(art done by beeesie! <3)
What are your character's gender and pronouns?:
Etaria would chuckle, thinking it was obvious that she was indeed a female. She answered anyways.
“I’m a female and I go by she/her.”
Please select your highest academic role at the time of writing this application:
(Grade-12/Bachelors/Masters/PhD):
The girl took a glance around the room, taking note of everything inside. She then snapped back to reality, hearing the question loud and clear before going on to answer.
“My highest academic role would be Bachelors! I was on the College Baseball team before leaving for Mexico as there was some sort of family emergency that I needed to attend to. On my journey of being bachelors though, I decided to take criminal justice for a major.”
What languages does your character know besides Japanese?:
Etaria nodded, saying a quick and simple "Yes" in Spanish. She let out a small snicker before continuing in fluent Japanese
“The one other language I really know besides Japanese would be Spanish! As I’m originally from Mexico, before fully moving over here back in 2017.. I believe? I was 18 years of age at the time.” (Made a language application, waiting for it to be reviewed)
Describe your character; how they look, what makes them unique?
Etaria Alexandrite would be a 5'9 Latina with a pretty decent figure. A lean build, actually! Which would make proper sense as she was on the College Baseball team, so she always had to stay athletic to run those four bases. She would have luscious dyed golden blonde hair that complemented her light hazel eyes. Her natural hair color though is jet-black. She dyed her hair due to wanting to "stand out" in her family. Etaria's voice would be smooth and soothing to the ears of whoever walked past. (Find voice audio clip here)

How does your character act in a professional/casual situation?
In a professional setting, Etaria would most likely be serious and focused, trying her best to keep up with what is going on. Always trying to listen and notice subtle expression cues, whether that be sadness, anger, disgust, or anything. Though if talking in a more casual setting, Etaria tend to be more foolish and goofy. Always trying to make the people around her atleast crack a smile! After all, she is what I would say is my most friendliest character ever when it comes to a casual setting. She usually gave out baseballs to anybody who asked when she was on the College Baseball team.

What is their outlook on the idea of co-workers & teamwork?
"Absolutely without any doubt, love it. Would hate to not have it."
Etaria's outlook on the idea of having co-workers and teamwork is pretty positive, as she was on a team herself. I think she would much rather have co-workers & teamwork than being alone, as teamwork is always necessary for a lot of things, especially when working in this field, where anything could happen. Who else would capture the criminal if she were to go down unconscious?

What's your character's backstory?
Born 11th of April, 1998 was a girl named Etaria Alexandrite. A female who had many more years to come.
[AGE: 7-12] During the younger years of her life, Etaria Alexandrite was a bit remarkable to say the least. She was always helping the people in need in her neighborhood, taking on tasks anytime she could for free or for an amount of money somewhere around 5-20 pesos. These small tasks usually included taking in groceries, tutoring, cleaning, or cutting grass. Always trying to do what she thought was good. Her school life, though, kinda told a different story; she was a silent kid who kept to herself. This classifies her as a bit of a nerd. She didn't really care for being popular or interacting with the other kids in her class, as she would rather focus on getting the best grades possible, until one faithful day during recess time, she took notice of a small baseball game happening. This game sparked a sudden interest, and she decided to ask the kids playing if she could join in, which they allowed her to do. One of them quickly taught her the ropes and the rules of the game, and after that, the rest was history. After that game, where she would win her team the final point, she decided to chat with others more in school, always trying to see when the next baseball game is. Now, moving on to age 11, it was the worst year of her life. As her father unexpectedly passes away due to an unknown heart condition.. Leaving just Etaria, her brother, and her mother. A tragic year to say the least. Etaria, being old enough to understand the loss, would go back to being quiet and focusing on her grades. Not talking to anybody really, always keeping cooped up in her house. She couldn't believe it. Her father, the man she looked up to.. Just being gone like that. The Alexandrite took the loss of her father terribly, but one faithful day, she took a moment to think.. Her father wouldn't want her to sit around and be quiet or sit around and do nothing. After all, he was a working man who always tried caring for her in every way he can and that reminded her when she helped around the town, being there for random strangers who needed the help. So that's what she began doing once again, helping. Helping the people who needed it, even if it was a small task or a big one. Always being there to help.

[AGE: 13-18] (Where she would take interest in Japanese & Karakura) On Etaria's 13th birthday, her mother wanted to be a supportive mother and get her something for her birthday, but she accidentally got her a DVD of Dragon Ball Z that was dubbed in Japanese. When Etaria eventually got around to plugging the disc into the small DVD player that her TV had, she was confused as the characters spoke. It didn't really faze her as much, though, as she knew subtitles existing so she just turned subtitles on and watched the show. She was fascinated with how the characters sounded, thinking it was cool in a way. With that, she begun picking up a few words in Japanese. By the age of 14, though, she wondered if she could learn more of this fascinating language, so she decided to go to her mother for help. Her mother decided to ring up the school and see about putting Etaria in language learning classes with her brother (Etorio Alexandrite). They both got signed up for private tutoring classes and began to learn the Japanese language through them. The tutor would help them along the way, answering all the questions that they struggled to understand. Around age 15 (Etaria), both of the Alexandrite siblings would be able to speak in somewhat fluent Japanese, but not quite exactly, as they still had much more to learn. By age 16, Etaria would be fully fluent in Japanese. Taking 2-3ish years of learning, her brother, on the other hand, had more to learn. Now at age 17, is where she began researching more into Japan with books and the technology they had around the time. She wanted to move there after doing tons of research, and she began checking how much it would cost to live over there. That is where she stumbles upon a little place, Karakura! A remote island in Japan, not too far off from the mainland, but surprisingly had better living prices than mainland Japan at the time. She decided that is where she would head off to, if she were to ever get away from Mexico. Fortunately for Etaria, though, she would head there by next year at age 18. She was old enough to move out and go anywhere she wanted, and she decided to ask her now sole parent (her mother) if she could. Her mother approved, saying it was best for her to move out and have a better place to live. She asked Etaria one final thing, though, before she packed up and left, and that was to eventually make enough money to move everybody else in the family over to Karakura. She nodded, saying she would keep that promise.

[AGE: 18ish-20] Karakura, Japan. A whole new beginning for the Alexandrite. She inhaled, taking everything in. Etaria was finally moved out of Mexico and to a place where she "would" have a better place to live. She lived her life as intended, going to Karakura High and continuing her academics. She was always at the top of her class, but still something didn't feel right to her. She felt a piece missing in her life, she didn't know what it was exactly but she would soon figure it out later because first she would graduate and head into College taking up criminology as her major because she obviously noticed that Karakura's crime rate was pretty much through the damn roof and she hoped some time in the future, she was able to decrease that by being an KPD officer herself. After a few days being in College though, she saw a notification appear on her phone.. "COLLEGE BASEBALL TRYOUTS," interesting, she thought, going back to the last time she played baseball. Which was back in Mexico during her younger years, but she saw this opportunity as an opening to make new friends and have a new experience. With a week left until tryouts, she went to the field and practiced hard with a few friends she had made along the way of living in Karakura. She practiced hard and harder each day until tryouts came. She surprisingly got on the team and was given the number 4. Rest was pretty much history after that until months in where she got a phone call from her brother. A worrying phone call to say the least, as it turned out her mother has fallen ill. She was shocked by the news, deeply upset, and decided it was time to head back to Mexico. Etaria instantly rushed to her baseball captain, telling the news, and the captain understood, and with that, she packed up her bags and went back to Mexico. Where she would stay for a couple of months until her mother made a full recovery. With that being said, she went back to Karakura and finished up College, only her bachelor's, though.
[AGE: Current Day]Now being finished with College, the Alexandrite pretty much could do whatever she wanted but first, she wanted to make the promise she made years ago a reality. So with that, she would begin auction flipping. Taking the stuff she collected from her time in Karakura and selling it. Etaria would also buy things to just sell it again later, with this process, she kept repeating Etaria would eventually make enough money to buy a plane ticket for her mother and little brother. They both would live in her apartment, now living in Karakura with her. Though as days and a few years went by, Etaria's mind kept going back to criminology and the reason why she took it as a major in College, so she decided to put in an application, and days later, she would get a call to come into the station for an interview.

General Knowledge
Can you legally own a pocket knife in Karakura?

"No, it's not legal to be in possession of a pocket knife in Karakura, as it is a felony if you do own one. You would be charged with illegal weaponry and be sent to the station ASAP!" She took a moment to breathe "After that, they'll be sent to the mainland."

Name 5 medical items that do NOT require a prescription
"Five medical items that do not require a prescription, you ask?" Etaria thought for a moment before listing the items. "Paracetamol, Asprin, Melatonin, Cough Syrup, a Wooden Cane! Those five items don't require a prescription."

If you see your co-workers physically abusing an inmate, what should you do?
"If I were to see one of my own co-workers physically abusing an inmate, I would check if my body camera were on before trying to intervene. I would immediately trying getting between the two or moving my co-worker back, telling them to calm down and stop. If they do manage push me away and continue then I would radio for backup instantly. After backup arriving and stopping the fight, I'll make sure to check up on the inmate to see if there is any injuries from the assault. If they're injured, critically.. I would try an attempt to help them and call EMS over to get them proper help that they need. After that, I would give in the evidence captured on my body camera of that officer attacking the inmate to any higher-ranking officer that I could find."

What should you do if you see your co-worker being assaulted?
The female blinked, wondering what possible situation could they be referring to.. There could be two scenarios for this, she thought.
"Depending on the situation or scenario, assuming I would be on-duty with my co-worker and they get assaulted by a singular person. I would instantly pull my stun blaster from my side and yell for them to stop. If they don't stop, then I'll fire the stun blaster and temporarily immobilize them before detaining and arresting them for assault on a government official. I personally believe that would be the best way to handle that type of situation. With the whole scenario being over though, I would clearly check if the officer needs any help." Etaria paused, taking a second before continuing.. "Now, if there is multiple people trying to go for my co-worker, I would instantly radio for backup and explain the situation clearly and the number of people attacking. After that, I would try my best to defend my fellow officer with the tools I have." She said with a distinct look of focus and seriousness in her eyes.

What do you do if you find out that your co-worker is corrupt and is helping criminal organizations?
"That's a good question, even with a low chance of it happening, but knowing Karakura's nature.." She exhaled.. "The chance is never not there. If I were to exactly find out my co-worker is corrupt and helping a criminal organization, I would obviously try my best to collect solid proof and evidence, though I think I would rather talk to a detective first about the possible scenario before gathering evidence myself." Etaria gave a nod. They're the most specialized and effective in that field, but if I were to have to gather evidence myself, I would use my body camera to get all the proof I need."

How would you react to a criminal trying to bribe you?
She folded her hands.
"A criminal trying to bribe me? I would simply warn them, and if they keep being persistent, I'll just write them up a fine for bribery, obviously." The female snickered, shaking her head. "Funny question, I must say.. because trying to bribe the police is just plain stupid."
